Best before dates refer to quality, not safety of food. Expiry dates refer to quality and safety of food. This means that food is often safe to eat after the best before date has passed.
The products we sell are often only available in limited supply. Once the product is sold out there is no guarantee that the product will be repeated. Only some product ranges will be available for regular supply. Some products may be well past their Best Before dates but are still fit for consumption. Some products may be marginally past their Best Before dates and if we are luck y enough, we are also able to offer you products that are end of range and well within their Best Before dates. Sometimes product packaging may be damaged. These factors are all taken into account to how we price our products. All our listed products are available for sale to the public. At Freddie’s Treasures Food Store, our customers are treated with respect and are appreciated. A hands-on approach ensures you are well looked after, from the time you enter our store to post purchase. It's always service with a smile. Check-out, Order Processing & Returns
At the Secure Checkout page, you will find the ordered item’s description, pricing, and the courier cost. The courier cost is calculated on the weight of the order. Shipping Area: We offer door to door courier and only ship orders within South Africa. This service is provided by a third party. We ONLY offer a standard courier option. We do NOT offer over night courier. Should you require this option, you are welcome to arrange this in your personal capacity and we will not be accountable or refund you for their delays. Returns: Damaged or Lost packages- Should you receive a package that renders the product in-edible or damaged, you should notify us on receipt of the package. We will investigate and assess. We will make arrangements after assessment to refund you or send a replacement package. Processing and delivery times may experience delays due to the time of the day you place your order, public holidays and large on line promotions ie Black Friday. Payment Options: We only accept payment for orders through the secure Payfast payment portal. Should you select self pick up and then ask for the package to be sent by courier, your package will only be shipped once the courier payment reflects in our account. We do not secure and reserve items on verbal orders.
