Project Mugetsu Zanpakuto

In Project Mugetsu, a Zanpakuto is a spirit that resides in it’s master’s inner world. It is an extension of a Shinigami’s soul, and the spirit’s powers match up to embody this.

During the game, if you play as a Soul Reaper or an Arrancar, they appear to you as a sort of boss battle that you’ll have to defeat.

How To Fight The Zanpakuto

Defeating a Zanpakuto isn’t so simple, and there are quite a few steps – but bare with us! You can do this if you follow them correctly.

  1. Become a Soul Reaper – you can begin this quest by talking to Kisuke
  2. Go to the Soul Society – do this by going to menu>skills>get your Mastery to get Senkaimon
  3. In the Soul Society, press K to begin the Meditation mini-game
  4. Complete the mini-game by matching the keys shown on screen, and reach Level 20 in Meditation
  5. At Level 20, you’ll see an option to fight the Zakpakuto – click on this
  6. Fight the Zanpakuto

Now the Zanpakuto boss battle has begun, use all of your abilities in order to defeat it! Successfully defeating the Zanpakuto will unlock a Shikai, and if you keep meditating further, you’ll unlock a Bankai at Level 50.
