Lawn & Turfing Topsoil is perfectly designed to go under turf. Higher in nutrients then our screened topsoil, our blend of 4 parts natural soil to 1 part organic compost is perfect to give your new lawn the best start in life.
Lawn & Turfing Topsoil is a high quality, locally sourced natural topsoil with added organic compost and screened to 10mm. Regarded by professional horticulturalists as having some of the finest properties for growing plants, this product is excellent for turfing your lawn. Using the latest technology to grade soil, it’s passed through screens to remove large stones.
The added organic matter will improve the soil by slowly releasing major nutrients and trace minerals as well as improve the soil structure and retain moisture.
Simply apply to the ground and smooth over before laying down rolls of turf.

Topsoil is the top layer of soil that is high in organic matter and nutrients, formed by the slow weathering of rocks and decaying organic matter over thousands of years.
You can select a delivery date that suits you on the checkout page of our website. Economy delivery is within 2-3 working days. We offer a Next Day service (£15) if your order is placed before 12pm. Natural Grower products will be dispatched Next Day if ordered before 12pm. Please note that VegTrug and Shire products have different lead times – you will be contacted directly by the supplier to book your delivery date.

Yes, but only small ones as all the larger stones are removed. Some stones in the soil are important for good drainage, soil aeration and prevention of topsoil compaction.
