The Common Wallaroo is a marsupial found in eastern and northern Australia. They are usually about 2 feet tall and weigh around 60 pounds. Wallaroos are herbivores, and their diet consists of mostly grasses, but they will also eat leaves, flowers, and fruits.

Wallaroos live in families of 5-10 members which consist of a dominant male, several females, and their offspring. The group is very territorial and defends its home range against other groups. Wallaroos can move quickly and jump up to 6 feet high, making them excellent climbers.
