James Pasco is a senior Management and IT Consultant for Genesis. He has over 10 years of experience helping organizations to better understand and improve upon existing business process landscapes, technology solutions, organizational structures, and staffing models. His work supporting a range of federal and state governments has earned him a reputation as a skilled problem solver who easily connects with clients, and quickly determines requirements, identifies challenges and issues, and designs and delivers lasting solutions.
James’ core competencies include business strategy, organizational change management, business process reengineering and improvement, systems analysis and development support, and organizational design. He’s supported transformative modernization initiatives for the US Department of Agriculture, Department of the Treasury, Department of the Interior, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Transportation.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University (Cum Laude), and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Public Management from George Mason University. He is a member of the Pi Alpha Alpha national honor society for students of public administration.
James lives in Falls Church, Virginia and enjoys spending time with his 3 dogs and 2 cats. He spends much of his free time hiking with his dogs and volunteering as a dog foster with a local animal rescue.
