[b][/b]Just looking at this picture , takes me back to being a 10yr old boy , growing up , we used to go down the weir all the time , with my two brothers ,maxie ,and truvel, we had a good freind charlie newsham, it was great them days , my brothers ,were musicians, and took guitars and bongo drums, all the kids in vilage used to come down ,and make music ,and swim, looking back now the two platforms on the ends of the weirs are gone?? we spent every summer on the weir, and I can remember one wintwe , near the bridge , we skated on thick ice there, boy it was colder themdays.
