Sundial on the Greenwich Meridian, Conyboro School
This picture was taken standing on the Greenwich meridian looking South. The left half of the image is in the Eastern Hemisphere and the right is in the Western. The meridian passes straight through the middle, see this LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) for an alternate image with the meridian superimposed as a yellow line. The Meridian crosses the SE corner of the grounds of Conyobro School. A sun dial has been erected exactly on the Airy Greenwich Meridian shown in the foreground.
