Gatwick airport - remains of shuttle to South Terminal Satellite
The South Terminal of Gatwick Airport has a circular "satellite" pier, clearly visible on the OS map. This was originally connected to the main terminal building by an elevated light rail "shuttle" comprising carriages on two parallel, curving tracks separated by a service walkway. The shuttle has subsequently been replaced by corridors and travelators but here the remains of the tracks can be seen, cut where they cross over an airport service road.
