United Reformed Church in Church Stretton
Viewed across High Street. The Church (as a body of worshippers) dates its origin in Church Stretton to February 14th 1860, when 7 people covenanted together to form a Congregational Church in the town. The building seen here was erected in 1866.
Following unions in 1972, 1981 and 2000, the United Reformed Church has brought together English Presbyterians, English, Welsh and Scottish Congregationalists, and members of the Churches of Christ.
