Nottingham Council House from the Old Market Square
Nottingham Council House from the Old Market Square
Viewpoint is the Old Market Square tram station. The city hall was built between 1927 and 1929. The clock bell weighs over 10 tons, and has the deepest tone of any British clock bell. The sound carries for 7 miles. I heard it strike mid-day when around St Peter's Square.
