Melton (Suffolk) railway station
Opened in 1859 by the East Suffolk Railway, later part of the Great Eastern Railway, on the line from Ipswich to Lowestoft, this station closed in 1955. It reopened in 1984.
View south west towards Woodbridge and Ipswich. Previously there had been a second line to the left with its own 'staggered' platform, further away from the camera position.
