New housing at Droylsden

New housing overlooking the Ashton Canal near Droylsden Marina. A corner of undeveloped land has been taken over by weeds and Canada geese.

Droylsden Marina

The marina is an arm of the Ashton Canal on what was originally the Hollinwood Branch Canal. It was developed in 2008 and opened in 2009. Link It is managed by Portland Basin Marina Link and lies within the Droyslden Wharf development by the Watkin Jones Group of new houses.
