SH7768 : Stone-faced bank

taken 6 years ago, near to Dolgarrog, Conwy, Wales

Stone-faced bank
Stone-faced bank
The flood-bank is reinforced with stone around the spring tide level to prevent erosion. A massive collection of flotsam has built up on the river-side ledge, including a sorry collection of plastic bottles and other waste. I picked up a fine tennis ball for my assistants, who were not on this midweek lunchtime expedition.
