Watery hazard - Roughley, West Midlands
The notice on this gate means what it says. Go through this gate and you may find yourself taking an unwanted dip into the murky waters of this old reservoir. Definitely not recommended if you want to see your next birthday or collect your pension. This site is north of the B4151 Slade Road and south of the eastern section of Turf Pits Lane, Sutton Coldfield where it has been severed from its western section by the M6 Toll Motorway. Time photo taken 12.56 pm BST (British Summer Time). SP1499 : Gate to an old reservoir
