taken 34 years ago, 3 km from Newcastle, Co Down, Northern Ireland

In Tollymore Forest Park.
In Tollymore Forest Park.
Tollymore was once the home of the earls of Clanbrassil. This tree is reckoned to be the original of Lord Clanbrassil's dwarf spruce (Picea excelsa 'Clanbrassiliana'), and thus more than 200 years old.
