Cole Green Way

Cole Green Way is a traffic-free path following the course of a former railway line between Hertford and Welwyn Garden City. The railway closed to passengers in 1951 but remained in use for goods until 1962 when it closed altogether.

The path is open to pedestrians and cyclists, and forms part of route 61 of the National Cycle Network.
