Punjab National Bank PNB RTGS / NEFT Form PDF Download: Real-Time Gross Settlements (RTGS) is the process where the transactions take place continuously throughout the whole day. The minimum amount that has to be remitted by RTGS is Rs. 2 lakhs and there is no limit for the maximum amount. This application is available for 24x7x365 days. It is a secure and safe transfer money system. If the credited amount is not sent to the beneficiary’s account it will be sent back to the receiver’s account within one hour of payment of receipt.

Unique Transaction Reference (UTR) is used to identify the RTGS transactions that contain 22 character codes. Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) is a 22 character code used to identify worldwide financial transactions. RTGS payments that exceed Rs. 50 crores should maintain the beneficiary’s LEI information. If the beneficiary and the remitter are individuals, then Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) is not necessary.

NEFT: National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) transactions will be performed in certain batches for a particular period. By using the form of NEFT a person can perform a transaction of less than Rs. 2 lakhs. NEFT form should be filled and submitted to the concerned bank. Alternately it can be performed through the beneficiary’s cheque leaf. The NEFT service is available throughout the year. It is operated at intervals of half-hourly throughout the day. Two hours is the time limit for performing NEFT batch completion of transactions. After the two-hourly period, only the beneficiary will receive the amount to his/ her account.

Submission of Punjab National Bank RTGS/NEFT form:

In the case of RTGS/NEFT, the form can be submitted either online without any paperwork or offline. The Punjab National Bank charges some fixed amount towards these NEFT or RTGS transactions as per their rules. Inward transactions are free for both the functions of RTGS and NEFT. The following charges are mentioned for outward Transactions that are made through the concerned branch. No charges are applicable for IBS/MBS transactions. The PNB bank customer has to check all the details filled thoroughly before submitting the form.
