It's not that their relationship was under wraps prior to tonight's event. The pair were first spotted on his Instagram in June 2021 and then in November, Millie posted a blurry photo of them together on the London Eye, confirming their relationship. They were then spotted hanging out together in NYC at Christmas and Millie posted a festive photo of him on her Instagram shortly afterwards.
Last month, the duo celebrated Millie’s 18th birthday together by dressing up as Barbie and Ken at her party at London’s Cirque Le Soir nightclub, followed but SoHo’s Windmill nightclub.
While our hearts melt just looking at the cute couple, we're all left wondering, who is this blue-eyed boy who’s stolen Millie’s heart? How did they meet and is it serious? Here's everything you need to know.
Millie's wisdoms to live by.
He's Jon Bon Jovi's son
19 year-old Jacob (Jake) Bongiovi is no stranger to the spotlight, thanks to his famous father - he’s the second youngest of four children from rockstar Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea Hurley. His two brothers are Romeo, 17, and Jesse, 27, and his sister is Stephanie, 28.
He wants to get a doctorate
In 2020, he was accepted into Syracuse University in NYC and has said he plans to get a doctorate one day. He's also has amassed a vast social media following of over 300 thousand Instagram followers.
He's an activist
Jake reportedly staged a national student walkout during his sophomore year at Pennington School, when he was just 15-years-old, in 2018. It was a protest the inaction regarding mass shootings in US schools, after 17 were killed in Parkland, Florida, in February 2018.
"It's enough. It's happened too many times that we watch it," Jake said to nj.com. "And we cannot let it go away this time."
We were NOT READY.
He has no plans to follow in his father's footsteps
Jake is known to love football (he played at Pennington High School, located near where his famous father grew up in New Jersey) but says he’s not interested in following his dad’s footsteps into music. Never say never, Jake.
He spends a lot of time in the UK
With Millie residing in the UK, it's hardly surprising that Jake has spent a lot of time here over the past couple of months. However, there's no evidence to say he has moved here permanently – yet.
