Commentary: Now I’m a chocolate

I recently read an article on pronouns. On the front page of a newspaper! The nuns who taught me grammar all those decades ago would say that pronouns on a front page were a heavenly sight. I am not so sure.

The article was not a lead feature because grammar’s a hot topic, but because pronouns are being re-tooled for modern taste. Imagine! Controversial pronouns! Pronouns are now used to define or obscure sexuality, and recognize multiple identities in a single braincase.
