“The Masked Singer” usually airs new episodes every Wednesday night, but the schedule is shifting this week for Thanksgiving Day.
The 12th season of Fox‘s whodunnit reality TV show will air a rerun on Wednesday, Nov. 27 (the “Who Are You Fest” hour that introduced Group C), and the new episode will instead air on Thursday, Nov. 28. That’s right — after you devour a yummy turkey dinner with your loved ones, gather around the TV and watch as Royal Knight, Sherlock Hound, and Strawberry Shortcake compete in the “Group C Finals: A Peanuts Thanksgiving” episode.

“Good grief! The whole gang’s here to celebrate,” the narrator declares in the preview clip, as we see full-size version of “Peanuts” comic strip characters like Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy van Pelt, and Franklin. The Fox announcer later teases, “Prepare for seconds, ’cause two masks are coming off.”
Two masks?! Deep breaths, “TMS” fans. In other words, by the end of the hour, only one costumed celebrity from Group C will remain and make it through to the semi-finals. That’s where they’ll be joining Group A’s Buffalos and Group B’s Wasp and Goo in an epic battle to advance to the Season 12 finale.
Last week, Group C said goodbye to Ice King, aka actor and musician Drake Bell. In his exit interview with Gold Derby, Bell had nothing but good things to say about his nice-as-ice costume. “I loved it!” he declared. “I thought it was incredible. I loved the concept [and] the colors. I loved that it was all kind of one color, but different tones. And of course, the mustache got me.” Watch our interview right here.
Bell is the ninth famous face to be unmasked in Season 12, following the likes of Bethany Hamilton as Macaron, Natalie Imbruglia as Bluebell, Laverne Cox as Chess Piece, Andy Richter as Dust Bunny, Paula Cole as Ship, Marsai Martin as Woodpecker, Yvette Nicole Brown as Showbird, and John Elway as Leaf Sheep.
“The Masked Singer” typically airs at 8/7c on Fox, but the “Group C Finals: A Peanuts Thanksgiving” episode may be delayed due to football overrun. Adjust your DVRs accordingly!
