Is “America’s Got Talent” on tonight (September 17, 2024)? YES. NBC‘s long-running reality TV show is airing its Finals performance show on Tuesday night. The grand finale results show will then air the following week on Tuesday, September 24.
Here are the 10 finalists: air-dance group AIRFOOTWORKS, dance group Brent Street, singer Dee Dee Simon, acrobatic group Hakuna Matata Acrobats, comedian Learnmore Jonasi, singer Richard Goodall, dog act Roni Sagi & Rhythm, aerial duo Sebastián & Sonia, drone group Sky Elements and quick change artist Solange Kardinaly.
The Season 19 judging panel is the same as it’s been for the past five years, with Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara all sitting at the desk as they critique the remaining acts hoping to win the $1 million prize. Plus, Terry Crews is back again as the show’s host for the sixth consecutive season.

This year there were more Golden Buzzers in play than ever before, because each of the judges was allowed to press the button twice during the auditions round. If an act received the coveted confetti shower, they got to bypass the Judge Cuts round and advance immediately to the live shows. And during the all-important live shows, there were four more Golden Buzzers in play, one for each of the Quarterfinals performance episodes.
The following nine acts all earned Golden Buzzers during the auditions: comedian Learnmore Jonasi (pushed by Terry), singer Richard Goodall (Heidi #1), singer Liv Warfield (Simon #1), drone group Sky Elements (Simon #2), dance crew Legion (Sofia #1), dancer Brent Street (Howie #1), singer Pranysqa Mishra (Heidi #2), singer Reid Wilson (Howie #2), and animal mask act Schumacher (Sofia #2). And the LIVE Golden Buzzers were acrobatic group Hakuna Matata Acrobats (Sofia #3), air-dance group AIRFOOTWORKS (Howie #3), singer Dee Dee Simon (Heidi #3) and aerial duo Sebastián and Sonia (Simon #3).

Watching it live now as I type this. Still love Tape Face!!!!
Results were ridiculous! Sorry a dog beats out Putri, Murmuration, the brothers or even the magician! Whose is going to pay to watch the dogs in Vegas! I think NBC was ridiculed tonight. They were off the air so fast compared to other. Will re-evaluate watching this show.
Remember when the judge cuts required a second audition face to face with the judges with no audience in a high stakes pressure test? Remember when they’d show more than two bad auditions per season? That was peak.
