When mixed in the volume ratio 1:1 with Copper Plating Solution, White Bronze Mixer produces a shiny white layer that can serve as a tarnish-resistant decorative layer or a barrier layer when plating gold onto copper or its alloys.
This is an ultra-fast plating solution with typical plating rates up to 10 times that of Nickel Brush Plating Solution.
Another main attraction of white bronze is its antiviral and antibacterial properties rendering touch surfaces 99% pathogen-free within two hours.
We do not recommend using white bronze on items with a complex shape or with recesses.
Recommended electrode – carbon.

Please note that to prepare white bronze plating solution, White Bronze Mixer
needs to be mixed in equal volume with Copper Brush Plating Solution.

When mixed with our Copper Plating Solution to create white bronze, can be used as a replacement for nickel to comply with legislation and avoid nickel allergy
Plating any items that will be handled or otherwise come into regular contact with the skin, for example jewellery, lighters and musical instruments
Effective as a barrier layer
Makes an excellent barrier layer between copper/brass and gold.
Base coat
Plating an excellent undercoat when plating on to pewter and other tin alloys.

The percentage of copper in the deposit increases as the voltage is increased.
The percentage of copper in the deposit increases rapidly once the solution is mixed
(10% per 30 minutes). We recommend that the solution is used within 10 minutes
after mixing).
The process has been calibrated using a Short Swab attached to a Carbon Electrode.
Plating rates can vary (even at a fixed voltage) depending on the type of swab used
and the type of electrode (platinum and carbon).
A mould may develop on storage but is not affect plating.
