For more than 40 years Peter Senior has been plying his trade on the fairways of the world and is synonymous with at least two or perhaps three generations of Australian golfers.
The evergreen Queenslander has won titles around the world but he always seemed to leave his best for the home fans winning multiple Australian Open, PGA and Masters titles.
Now 60, he regularly travels the country playing the Australian Legends Tour where his name can frequently be found at the top of the leaderboard as it was when he won the recent Senior PGA Championship in Sydney.
His relentless competitive spirit and ability to get the job done when the pressure is a thing of folklore. But perhaps, most importantly, he’s renown for being one of the nicest people in the professional game.
Senior found his way to the Thing About Golf studio for a chat about the game that has been his obsession and love since he was a boy growing up in suburban Brisbane. Here is our one-on-one chat with Senior in Episode #8 of The Thing About Golf podcast.
