Jenna Bush Hager always steps out on to the Today show stage looking incredible โ but even more so for special occasions.
To toast the holiday season, Jenna and fellow co-host Hoda Kotb starred in a promotional Instagram video for Today With Hoda and Jenna. While both women looked stunning standing alongside a decorated Christmas tree, folks were particularly enamored with Jenna's elegant yet sexy blue velvet dress. The festive look featured long sleeves, a plunging neckline and a high-low style hem. Adding a little more flair to the ensemble, the left side of Jenna's frock was cinched together with decorative gold buttons.
Due to the boldness of the dress, Jenna's accessories were a bit more demure. She wore a pair of strapped black heels and her signature layered necklaces. The Sisters First author also wore natural makeup for the cameras.
Because Today show fans love to see Jenna's ever-changing wardrobe, they instantly reacted to seeing her in the holiday outfit. Many didn't hesitate to let her (and Hoda) know how their thoughts.
"The moves are questionable BUT the dresses SLAY ๐๐๐๐ Love you both โค๏ธ," one person wrote in the Instagram comments section. "Love your dresses today! You both look beautiful! ๐๐," another follower noted. "Love the dress Jenna," a different user added.
This is just another example of Jenna being adventurous with the attire she wears on daytime TV. What's more, this isn't the first time she's worn velvet during the holiday season. Back in November, she paid an homage to 1970s fashion by wearing a burgundy velvet suit during a live taping.
