Pleasant enough vintage teen read with a likable lead character. That last chapter was super weird, though. It’s titled “Tom and Anne” but is an infodumpy mess on the inner workings of an ore carrier of all things. 🥱

a sweet high school novel written in the 1950s about being true to yourself and popularity being superficial. Little bit of romance.
