Il Male is an interesting story, probably, like many of Dylan Dog stories, taken from a somewhat popular movie of the 70s or 80s, and transformed to be a more or less free interpretation of it. Dylan Dog even mentions it during the story itself. Similar to the story of Dylan Dog Nr. 5 "Gli Uccisori", some people suddenly become incredibly violent and just randomly kill people around them. This time, it spreads very fast, but is contained only by one person at a time. At the same time, a mysterious detective from the USA, instigated by Bloch, goes to Dylan to tell him about the "evil" he is pursuing. But only after a great deal of personal loss is Dylan able to react to what is going on around this killing spree...
Another story that is "interesting", "not bad" but "not the end of the world". It is good as long as it goes, but honestly, it won't probably be fondly remembered in the overall run of Dylan Dog comics. More brilliant books are around.
Also, the ending is kinda... weird...

Non appena ho letto trattarsi dell'esordio di Bruno Brindisi come disegnatore di Dylan Dog mi sono emozionata, e non sono rimasta delusa. I disegni sono sicuramente l'aspetto migliore dell'albo, e rispetto alla media sono estremamente dettagliati, una caratteristica di Brindisi che conoscevo da storie successive e che ho sempre apprezzato. Apprezzo anche l'abilità nel costruire un'atmosfera particolare, che sicuramente aiuta ad immergersi nel racconto (ho letto il numero nella sala d'aspetto di un medico piena di bambini, mio malgrado). La storia non è estremamente particolare ma non manca di mordente, almeno inizialmente. Nel complesso un gran bel numero.

Uno dei tanti racconti di Dylan Dog che mi è rimasto impresso: "Il Male", una malattia contagiosa che rende l'uomo una furia omicida, che provoca morte e distruzione, ma al contempo stesso non vuole che gli animali vengano uccisi.
