Cowboy Hawk (H44) finds himself drawn to city girl Portia (h23), even if they can’t seem to agree on a single thing, especially the task that her boss has sent her to Rugged Falls on. With a little help from an inquisitive widow, things heat up between the pair and Portia will have to choose what she really wants out of life. A hot and steamy age gap, cowboy quickie romance with a little bit of relationship angst.

Part if Waylon Family Ranch series let me tell you I have waited for each book in this series to come out, each can be read as a standalone in under an hour or so with a sexy grumpy cowboy and the curvy girl who grabs his attention in a way no other has 😊. Hawk sexy as all get out cowboy with issues but a cowboy through and through, don’t like the city life too much and feels he isn’t good enough to find what his friends have found until he meets one curvy city girl. Portia a sweet curvy woman who doesn’t do anything nature oriented on a ranch, talked into going on a date with the cowboy she finds so sexy, but it is the worst date both leaving the date in a huff so to speak over why her boss sent her to Rugged falls. Talked into giving each other another chance the attraction is just as intense the second time around despite their different views and the magnetic pull between them is becoming a little harder to ignore the more they learn about each other but when he doesn’t agree will she run, will she figure out what she wants out of life concerning her job, will she go back to her job leaving a part of her heart behind in Rugged Falls, will he understand her point of view, can the city girl and the cowboy find their own happiness?.

Portia and Hawk are the story I was waiting for after the previous book. They are so opposite that I knew they would be explosive. Khloe Summers makes them pop out of this book. They are intense and perfect for each other. They just need to get over their differences and see how good they can be! I loved their intensity, their passion, their everything. There was not a thing about this book that I didn’t fall in love with!
Hawk was especially HOT!! He’s protective, possessive, defensive personality was insanely delicious. That and how he worships Portia and loves her without apology! Plus the scenes these two have in trucks and tractors will make you swoon and melt. He’s deliciously filthy and his dirty talk is fan yourself HOT! I couldn’t have loved this book more and can’t wait to see what comes next in this series!

Portia has wandered onto Waylon’s Family Ranch to deliver some papers to Waylon. Portia is from the city, dressed in a business suit and heels. Her boss has her delivering some papers and waiting for an answer. She wanders down to the corral and runs into Hawk. Hawk is not impressed with her. The thing he is not clear about is he wants Portia. He is instantly attracted to her but he doesn’t know what to do about it? They are so different but he wants to try. With the help of an elderly woman who sets them up fora date. Will this work or not? This story is funny, flirty, feisty, sexy, steamy and so enjoyable. The characters were amazing. I loved the story!.

I loved Filthy, Dirty, Cowboy: Waylon's Family Ranch. Portia and Hawk had one terrible date. When they run into each other again their attraction is still there but they are just so different. After being talked into another date they give into their attraction and Portia even tells Hawk about her past. When a situation arises and Hawk ends up going against what Portia wants will it spell doom for their relationship before it even starts. I loved this storyline and the characters. I can’t wait for Bree’s story. I would definitely recommend this book and the whole series.

Hawk and Portia are complete opposites - her an ambitious, independent city-girl to his much-older rugged rancher who is happiest in the mountains. But the chemistry between them every chance they are sharing the same air is explosive. Can these two get past their differences and realize they are perfect for one another? My favourite couple so far in this wonderful series - though I probably say that with each new book ;)

Portia is sent to Waylon ranch with paperwork from her boss. Sparks fly between Portia and Hawk when she makes it to the ranch. They don't get along and it causes some friction between them. However, the attraction between them is too hard to resist. Will the both of them find more than they were looking for with each other? What about her job?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Another installment in the Rugged Mountain Ink series. This book is Hawk and Portia's story. It is very sweet meet again after they met at their friend's wedding, had a bad date, and went separate ways. When Portia is in town to do business, they meet again, and with help from a friend, they go on another date. The book was sweet and spicy.

Portia and Hawk met at Ash and Dodge's wedding. Let's just say, these two didn't exactly hit it off. When Portia comes back into town to work on a deal with Waylon, Hawk is there to greet her. Hawk definitely likes what he sees when he looks at Portia but, these two are from completely different worlds. How can they make it work? But, what happens when Hawk opens his mouth and causes Portia to lose her job? Can these two come together when they seem world's apart? Of course they can!! Loved it!!

I've been singing the Kenny Chesney song, She Thinks my Tractor's Sexy, in my head while finishing up this story. It was a cute addition to the story and made for a great place for a first time. I loved the back and forth of this couple. It's that fighting that makes for some good lovin' as well. I also loved the addition of Mrs. R. to the story. She was the perfect wing man for Hawk.

Hawk and Portia had hot and intense chemistry making this age gap, steamy romance a fun read. The first time they meet they don't hit it off but the more time they spend together the closer they got and sparks were flying. I loved the storyline, and the characters, and their back and forth banter was entertaining. Filthy, Dirty, Cowboy is book nine and a great addition to the series. When Mrs. Robinson (a second mother to Hawk) suggests they are going on another date, both of them agree. Another incredible read in the Rugged Mountain Ink series. I really loved this book. Beth has always had lingering feelings for her best friends dad, and as she grew, he started to see how special she always was. I love that in the end, they create the perfect family. Khloe always gives us the greatest stories.

I love Portia and Hawk. They both try to convince each other that they are wrong for one another but opposite do attract. And for them it works out in the most passionate and steamy way possible. Another great book in this series.

This was a fun opposites attract romance that's also swinging with an age gap challenge. Portia and Hawk, city girl and country boy, worked hard at convincing each other that they wouldn't work out, but man, their back and forth brought out good steam and love managed to find a way ;) This is a well written and speedy romance that was quite entertaining and a fab fit for the series :D

This one was a hit!
I absolutely loved the quick passion between Hawk, and Portia. The very best of opposites attract. All the things that they thought the other was terrible for, was also the things that turned them both on. The first time sitting on the tailgate of his truck, and they were completely hooked.

This book was fun to read, an enemies to lovers being set up by a well meaning match maker, an ice cream shop, and strange sounding flavors. This book is quick and not at all rushed. It's a definite must-read.

With each book in this series it just gets better and better. I love the writing style of this author! I think I have read each book in this series and several other of her series as well.
