Review is now available on The Romance Reviews.

What would you do when the one thing you could count on disappears? When you were alone or frightened, the reassuring voice in your head would help you get through anything. Chloe's safeguards are now gone. Is she even psychic anymore if she can't hear voices? What happen to the voices that warned her of danger and kept her safe? How can she contribute to solve unexplainable cases if she has no psychic powers?

Left adrift, Chloe King tries to hide her missing psychic power from her boss. She doesn't know if the end of her powers will cause her to lose her job with Jack. A brush with death reveals to Chloe she's been too dependent upon her helpful voice. Frightened, she takes a hiatus to the middle of nowhere. Too bad the cabin she was going to lay low in is already occupied – by two handsome men.

Josh and Xavier are twins who are recovering from their recent blotched mission. The last thing they expected was a cute female breaking into their sanctuary. Upon first contact, they realize something special about Chloe.

In this third installment of the PowerUp! Series, Ms. Harte bring us the tasty ménage we lust after. The fact that the two men are twins does not make the ménage any less hot. In fact, I'd say it adds to the heat just a little bit more. What woman wouldn't want to be in between a hot set of twins?

This story was more than just Ms. Harte's trademark hot sexy scenes. She does a lovely job tying all the threads together into a cohesive picture of Chloe, Jack and Xavier's life. Each time they have interacted before they met in person added depth to the characters. I liked all three characters and danced in delight when they finally came together.

We also learned more about Jack's connection and other psychic groups. I'm eager to read the next book in this series. I'm hoping it will include Jack and Xavier's family. I recommend this book to ménage lovers who thrive on connections at a physical, emotional and psychic level.

I really liked this book. I didn't realize when I downloaded it that it was a 3rd book in a series. I wish I had read them in order. Now I have to download them all. ;)

There was a lot of potential for characters and some really neat arcs and trauma reactions here and it just wasn't used. *massive sigh* Guys. You literally set up a serial killer story with a girl finding out that her psychic powers belonged to someone else and they were just using her as a conduit-- you could have done so much better with that. Disservice at its finest. <_<

The cheese continues but pretty shitty how the author has the main character needing reassurance from two white boys about her skin color. Bullshit.

Like its predecessors in the Power Up! series, "Whispered Words" was an enjoyable and quick read. Once again, it was really the three main characters that made this book. You couldn't help but like the twins, their connection with each other and Chloe. Although I have to say that the twin connection they have is a little extreme and probably would have been hell during puberty. Apparently the twins don't only talk to each other telepathically, they also feel what the other feels. That is just begging for some really awkward moments. I also like the fact that while they are so alike and so connected they can almost feel like one person, they still have distinct personalities, despite being incredibly identical even for twins. Once again though, the bad guys were unimpressive, the supposedly dangerous situations were over with so quickly that I couldn't bring myself to care too much about injuries or near misses. No matter how many dangerous situations there are, they always end quickly and are always a little anticlimactic. However, this book was still an enjoyable, relaxing read with no major drama or angst.

Twins always fascinate me though, especially identical ones. I can't imagine having someone who looks exactly like you around everyday. I also wonder how parents of twins do it, how do they tell their kids apart especially as babies. Who's to know if they accidentally got them mixed up in the middle of night as babies, can't figure out which is which, say uh-oh, then just go with it. If you think about it, a twin might start out as a Caleb but end up being a Cole because the parents got them mixed up. That just seems like it would be an hilarious situation to me.

It’s another winner from the extraordinary Ms.Harte. I loved seeing Chloe get her own story after watching the hell she raised with the other members of the Power Up! gym. Read More...

Heather's Notes
This series seems to be getting a little better with each book. I really liked Chloe. I also liked the twins. The plot of the story was good, but kind of went off cross in regards to the overall story arc. Still I will continue this series

Adventure, twins, danger, love and acceptance.

Chloe heads to a cabin in the woods to get away from her stalker and try to get her clairvoyant powers back on track. That is where she meets Josh and Xavier.
Josh and Xavier are twins. They share everything they feel. If one get hurt the other one feels the pain too. So it makes life difficult and people think they are freaks.
Chloe steps into the picture and they realize that Xavier is the main voice that she has heard since she was 16. He is the one that told her of danger and how to keep the people she cares for safe. Josh can see the future and he relays that to Xavier to tell Chloe. So together they make a perfect team.
But can Chloe accept that they come as a pair in the bedroom? What about when danger comes to their door? Will they allow Chloe to fight and be herself or hide her from harm?

A decent read. Chloe is a clairaudiant who has heard voices since she was a little girl. Xavier and Josh are twins. Josh sees the future and Xavier is a telepath who can only speak with Josh.... and Chloe.

The insta-love angle was handled via the connection that Josh, Xavier, and Chloe have had for years.... they just didn't meet in person until Josh had a vision.

The plot was a little thin in bringing the trio together and the stalker after Chloe was wrapped up fairly neatly. A pretty run-of-the-mill story.

Awful…absolutely awful. Almost DNF but just fast forwarded since there wasn’t much to get through and read in a few hours.
No plot, no character building…how Chloe even ends up in the cabin where she meets the twins is not clear. The sex scenes are boring, repetitive and contrived. I wanted to give this author another chance but this book was worse than than the first one in series. But at least that book had real characters and a story line that could be followed. Even her “power” doesn’t make a ton of sense. Just awful. Done with this series and likely the author.

Whispered Words is the third in Marie Harte’s PowerUp! Series featuring heroes and heroines with supernatural powers.

Chloe King has been hearing voices her whole life. And one voice in particular has been keeping her company for years. When she finally meets twins Xavier and Josh Cannon, attraction flares immediately to life.

Outwitting a stalker and evading armed thugs are just part of the job for this trio, and Ms Harte ensures their path to a happy ending is at least a little winding… An entertaining addition to the series!

Whispered Words, Book 3 in the PowerUp series is a psychic romantic suspense. Ex-government agent Chloe King is a clairaudient, and she’s always been able to escape trouble until she’s almost murdered by a serial killer. The voices she’s heard more than half her life have disappeared, and she’s afraid her life is coming to an end. Without those voices, she’ll die. But she never counted on the voices being real.

A super sexy suspense that kept me up late reading. A fantastic series I recommend!

A really good and entertaining read.
Nice to have Chloe get her men and to have such an interesting family adding to this.
Loved all the characters and Chloe has done well with Josh and Xavier being her HEA.
I thoroughly enjoyed the connection these three had had for years.
Lets see who is set up next.
Was a nice surprise to see this series re-released into Kindle Unlimited. Time to reread and leave reviews once again.

Does Goodreads have a category for “I’m somewhat embarrassed to admit I read this book”? It’s a m/m/f romance with male twins, characters with various psychic abilities, and weird suspense elements (female character has a stalker who is also a serial killer.) The whole thing is bananas. (How did I decide to borrow this from my library? I have no idea!)

Also, there is clearly someone my library’s acquisition department who likes bananas m/m/f romances (see also: Frostbitten by Charlotte Stein.)

Tried something different. This book is short on story and long on sex. Reminded me of stuff I read in Playgirl magazine years ago.

Whispered Words: A Power Up! Story by Marie Harte led me once again into the PWP world. Chloe finds she must leave on hiatus to find her voices, the ones that have quieted while formulating a plan to stay one step ahead of a stalker trying his best to assassinate her.

During her travel she runs into two men who’ve helped her before, Xavier and Josh. Attraction is at an all-time high and Chloe finds she craves both powerful men. Keeping passion locked away proves impossible. Xavier and Josh consume her thoughts, and she theirs as well and not in just a ‘psychic’ way.

Josh needs more than a bedroom affair. Though he and his brother have shared passion before, he wants the illusive, a woman who will take the both of them for life, a pipe dream. Xavier wants Chloe as well; he isn’t as guarded as his brother. While their emotions and sexual tension continue to build, a psychopath is still on the loose. They must embrace their powers and give into the need to bring him down for good. This was one fantastically written story and I can’t wait to read Nathan’s story.

There's plenty of action in this well paced and plotted story to keep you attention from the first page to the last. I mean how can it not when the serial killer stalker is introduced on the page 2. I like Chloe. She's a complicated woman and I liked learning of her childhood. It helped to understand her and why she reacted as she did. Then there's the identical twins, Josh ans Xavier Cannon, both with their own psychic power. The sexual tension between these three is hot and when they get together...get a fan.

There's a few twists and turns relating to people who are tracking the guys, so they have more problems than just the stalker to deal with. Yet, by adding in a few old characters for support, Ms. Harte manages to tie up all her loose ends into a tidy package and even sets up Nathan and Avery for the next book.

When I read Retrocog, I really liked Chloe and wanted to read her story. She's a physic that hears voices that worn her about things, they've even saved her life. When the book starts out, she's hiding in a warehouse from a stalker but is rescued by 2 strangers. Unfortunately, it's dark in the warehouse so not only can she not see her stalker's face, she can't see the rescuers either. To top it all off, suddenly the voices have gone silent, so she heads off to a cabin for alittle rest and relaxation. Little does she know the cabin is already occupied by Josh & Xavier, identically twins who have their own gifts as well. Josh can see Chloe's future and Xavier is the voice that has been guiding her and keeping her from harm. This book was filled with steam and action as Chloe falls in love with the twins. I really liked this book and would love to see what happens next.

Whispered Words is book 3 in Marie Harte's PowerUp! series.

We first met Chloe in Retrocog. In her book, Chloe is trying to get her head round having nearly being killed and she decides to head off to a cabin on here own for a few days escape. The trip doesn't quite go to plan and when she reaches her destination, she encounters 2 strong, sexy strangers.... but it would appear that Xavier and Josh Cannon are not truly strangers - they are actually physic twins who Chloe is destined to be with.... That's if she can escape her crazed stalker!!!

Hot, steamy and fast paced, this is an excellent book - just what we've come to expect from Marie!!!

Chloe King, one of the ex-PWP agents now working at the Power Up! gym, is a clairaudient - meaning she hears voices. All her life she has heard these voices, but one particular voice has always stood out among the rest, advising her, guiding her, and even saving her life. When the voices go silent after a run-in with a stalker, Chloe takes a much needed break to a cabin in the woods. Little does she know that two twins, Xavier and Josh, have been the telepath and the clairvoyant team that have been speaking to her for years. I really liked the characters in this book and I enjoyed the little subplot.

The psychic content of the series is definitely keeping me in the series. Not a bad read. Thou I prefer true threesomes where all parties are involved with no limits, I don't mind MFM threesomes. But when the males are related, I'm definitely more uncomfortable with the situation. In this case you've got twins identical that feel what the other feels, which is harder to portray in a good light. Both are going to 'blow' within seconds of each other whether they like it or not. I prefer a little more... control... over this aspect. But I think the author did a fair job with the MCs and I really liked Chloe.
