Bookshop owner and psychic Cassie worries about her brother after a thug shows up at her store demanding money. As luck would have it, Cassie’s friend needs her to be a contestant on the roadshow version of Wheel of Fortune and while the opportunity couldn’t come at a better time, Cassie worries about the dangers of using her gifts for money. She doesn’t expect to meet fellow contestant “Brendan” (Karson) whom she feels a deep connection with, even as she’s sure he’s keeping secrets of his own. Cassie had a gift, one that most people don’t understand and one she knows comes with a high cost if used for ill gotten gains as her mother found out when she lost her life. Her psychic abilities have helped her help others but this time she needs to use them to save her younger brother. Troy hasn’t exactly been living a legal life and now that it has caught up with him and may cost him his life if she doesn’t find fifth thousand and fast. Entering a Wheel Of Fortune roadshow seems to be the only way that she can raise that kind of money. Arriving for the test rehearsal she meets Brendan and suddenly she’s faced with another dilemma, her connection to him is immediate, and things get heated between them quickly, but she can see that Brendan has secrets if his own, what will happen when she discovers who he is and why he is in her life in the first place, and will she be able to save her brother?
Karson is a private investigator working with the police to bring a notorious family to justice, he’s been tailing Troy for awhile but when he vanishes he tracks down his only family member his sister Cassie. Watching her through the window of the little shop she inherited from her grandmother, waiting to see if Troy is staying with her or do he tells himself, he knew the moment his eyes were on her that she was special and could be his true soulmate, but with still no sign of Troy he has to change tactics and fast when he sees two goons pay her a visit. Discovering that she’s entered a game show gives him the perfect opportunity to find out exactly what she knows about her brothers illegal activities, but also to get close to her in the very way that he craves. He didn’t expect to fall in love with Cassie, he didn’t expect he would have to explain who he was and why he’d lied to her. Can he save her brother before it’s too late and will he win Cassie back or has his lies lost him his dream woman?
This was a fun short read that delivered a great story and made you not want to put it down. Recommended 4* read.

Wheel of Fortune by Jessa Joy is part of the multi-author Love Games series. The story is about Cassie Breltier, a woman with a psych gift of knowing what is going to happen and also being able to control things. She comes from a family where this gift is passed down through the women. She now lives above the store she inherited from her grandmother, who raised her and her brother Troy after their mother died in a car accident. The store is not doing well and Troy has a penchant for gambling and losing. She has been visited by a man who has told her she needs to pay Troy's debts or something bad is going to happen to him, like being killed. She does not want anything to happen to her brother so she decides to use her gifts to benefit herself, even though her grandmother had warned her using them for herself could bring consequences. She goes on a game show where she meets Karson. He is more than he seems as he is hiding a big secret from her. Things are going to get interesting between these two as there are powerful forces at play around them.
I liked this unique story which was very well written with likeable characters and an engaging story-line.

This was a quick an d enjoyable read and the main characters had me cheering them on but her brother is a piece of trash who drags his sister into his mess and gets kidnapped and she has to bale him after a thug comes to her for the debt he owes. Cassie is a book store owner who has psychic abilities and was told while growing up to never used them for personal gain but now her brother is in real trouble and she needs money fast or they will kill him so when she gets the chance on a game show she takes it and knows she will win the money and save him but what is unexpected is that she will meet the man she is going to marry. Karson is a PI who has been tracking Troy for his shady dealing with a criminal gang but now he has disappeared and so he starts to watch his sister Cassie and is pleasantly surprised how curvy and sexy she is and when she enters a game show so does he under a fake name Brendan and they hit it off straight away and become very close but they are both keeping secrets that could ruin it all. To see how it all turns out read this quirky and funny read to find out.

Wheel of Fortune is a short and steamy, age-gap, instalove, curvy girl gets her younger man romance. Cassie is a 39 year old, curvy girl with psychic abilities. All her life, she has been warned against using her abilities for money, but when her brother is kidnapped, she may need to do just that. Karson is a 30 year old, hunky private investigator who has been tracking her brother Troy due to some involvement in some shady activities. When an opportunity for Cassie to do a road show version of Wheel of Fortune arises, she takes it to try and win some money. Karson also joins the show, and Cassie feels drawn to him. He has been watching Cassie to try and get to Troy, but he falls for his curvy beauty in the process. What will happen when she finds out the truth? Will they be able to save Troy? Will she accept Karson or feel used? After a bit of drama, we do get a nice HEA. The story was sweet, and psychic powers were a fun spin to this short romance.

Karson only created an opportunity to meet Cassie because of his job, but he felt an inexplicable pull toward her, that he had never felt for anyone else. Their attraction for each other grew, but their budding romance was nearly derailed when Karson revealed the secret he had been keeping from Cassie.
Luckily, Karson was able to convince Cassie to take him back, so they could have a happy life together. Jessa Joy had really outdone yourself again with this heartfelt romance. I was hooked on the story from the very beginning and didn’t stop reading until I read the last word. Grab a copy now and it will be worth your reading experience.

Cassie has her psychic gift from her mom and grammy. Her brother Troy does not have it and gets into some serious debt trouble with bad guys. Karson is a private investigator, trying to find her brother and while on stake-out, he starts to fall for Cassie. She is visited by a bad guy, saying they have her brother and she now needs to give them $50,000 to get him back or he is dead. Through a friend, she and Karson end up on a road trip version of Wheel Of Fortune. The characters have great personalities - like their first opponent, determination and entertaining situations. The storyline has so many moving parts and secondary people, along with the show, the police, her visions, her winnings, a garden, grammy sending her tarot cards, and more that kept the pages turning. Totally enjoyed this story and the great ending.

This was a great short story. I loved the age gap older woman/younger man in this story. Karson is a PI working undercover to find Troy. Cassie is a bookstore owner who has witchy skills. She has always been warned to never use her skills for monetary gain. Troy is Cassie’s brother and has landed himself in trouble. He has been kidnapped and his captors have told Cassie to pay Troy’s debts or they will kill him. Cassie has the opportunity to appear on a game show. Even though it goes against everything she knows she must save her brother. Great short read. Expect instalove, chemistry, some steam, age gap romance, and danger.

I loved this witchy story. Cassie has the sight, seeing things others can't, finding lost items and such. Her brother is in trouble and she needs money fast or his life is forfeit. Karson is a private eye following Cassie to try to find her brother. When Cassie goes on the Wheel of Fortune Road Show to get the money needed she meets Karson and all bets are off. I loved this great little story. Cassie and Karson are hot together, it's fast and steamy and a great fun read. I loved it.

This was a bit on the paranormal side. Cassie has some psychic abilities but is totally against using her power for personal gain. However, her brother is in serious trouble with some lone sharks. Larson is undercover trying to find Cassie’s brother. The moment Cassie and Karaon meet, there is instant chemistry between them. Cassie goes on a version of Wheel of Fortune to get the money for her brother

I enjoyed Wheel of Fortune. Cassie needs to protect her brother but it’s dangerous to use her skills. Karson is trying to track down her brother for the police but the second he saw Cassie he knew she was the one for him. Unfortunately, he starts off lying to her. Can Cassie forgive give him when she finds out? This was a quick and easy read. I liked the storyline and the characters. Cassie is a bit different but likes to help people. I would recommend this book and the series.

I read this in one sitting. This moved from Snowflake Falls into its sister city Newhope. I would love to see more set here and with some of the characters seen. I laughed and was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen. This is definitely a cute read that will keep you entertained and will give you all of the feels.

This is a short, older woman/younger man, age gap romance between a psychic/bookstore owner and a private investigator. Cassie and Karson have an instant connection when they meet on the Wheel of Fortune game show. But it's not all romance and games as Cassie needs to save her brother. I am loving the game show storylines in the Love Games multi-author series and I look forward to reading all of the books in this fun series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
