Shania lives out her Christmas dream, and Erik is trapped in a holiday nightmare.
Chamberstown’s newest resident, Shania, revels in the winter season as she opens her bookstore and starts anew. However, the town’s lead postal worker, Erik, makes his Grinch-like-attitude clear from the moment they meet.
After package upon package is delivered to Shania’s shop and Erik reveals more of himself, Shania decides to take matters into her own hands and bring cheer to the Scrooge in her life. Little does she know, her love of the holiday has already somehow warmed him up like a cup of hot cocoa on a cold night.
With the big day right around the corner, Shania relishes the challenge of breaking Erik’s icy exterior after seeing the husk of a boy who once loved Christmas. But how do you bring holiday cheer to someone without the help of the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Future?
This sweet, Hallmark-like Christmas romance is one story to enjoy to your heart's delight with a twist!
Hailing from a long line of English and French ancestry, somehow Ashley ended up in America. Ashley Brion successfully managed to earn 3 degrees in English and Creative Writing with a minor in World History. She has no idea how that happened. In what little free time in life she has, Ashley is a cosplayer, gaming streamer, American Civil War reenactor, actress, and dabbles in diamond paintings. Ashley is a proud autistic and LGBTQIA+ author and POC advocate. She enjoys American football (Fly Eagles Fly), studying different cultures, traveling, musicals and plays, anything Batman related, Lethal Weapon films, Hazbin Hotel, Disney, sake, and hanging out with her pets, family, and friends.
The Christmas Post by Ashley Brion is an uber short novella about grumpy postal worker Erik who meets town newbie and book shop owner Shania. She’s determined to lift his mood and he’s determined to complain. Will they find their way together or will his bad attitude rub off on her?
This is a quick quick read with a side of crankiness. It’s a well written short story, you won’t want to miss out. One of my favorite authors, highly recommend!
This story is about a grumpy postal worker named Erik living in a place called Chamberstown. A woman named Shania is a newbie to the town. Shania is a bookstore owner. She meets the town’s postal worker Erik who doesn’t seem to enjoy the Christmas holidays. She starts giving him presents and talking to him when he comes into the bookstore to deliver packages to her store. This story was nice but I wish it had been longer.
This was a very cute book, and one I'll definitely reread closer to Christmas and around future Christmases as well. Erik and Shania were adorable together, and I was happy with how things turned out.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really like how she set out to do something to bless Eric. She gives thoughtful gifts in an unassuming way. Good way to make connections with someone who needs loving input. A good turn-around story.
This was a cute, feel good romance. I love the little things that Shania did for Erik to change his opinion about Christmas. I received a free copy of this book and am sharing my honest opinion.
