I’d like to see her try to escape. Melody doesn’t realize it yet, but she’s found her pack. We’re going to keep her so well-fucked that she never glances at another man again. Then we’re going to pamper the hell out of her and sink our teeth in so she can never escape.

📚 Book Review 📚
I love a low-angst Omegaverse story after the heavier stuff I’ve been reading recently. Plus Two left me with a smile. To be honest, I was smiling the entire read. It just made me abundantly happy - a loving and supportive pack, some fun kinks, and babies.

I have a thing for Beta boys, and Carver gives me all the good vibes. I love that betas are not controlled by the biological drive to claim an omega, so when they do get together, I always feel the relationship is more genuine. No pesky pheromones are getting in the way of feelings. It doesn’t hurt that Jillian always writes her betas sexy and with hearts of gold.

I am also a huge fan of Melody’s alphas. Oliver - dry-humored, cerebral, and does extensive research to ensure her pregnancy is complication-free. Miller - former military grunt, current security officer, with the soothing touch. Nik – retired football player, co-owner of The Exchange, figuring out how to match their love languages.

Pregnancy plays a significant role in this book but doesn’t keep the steam from building. It is a fast-burn romance with a pack obsessed with their pregnant omega. Breeding kink is found throughout.

Another great standalone from Jillian. I look forward to more.

Love the omega exchange

I absolutely love this world Jillian has created. The characters were so relatable and fun to read. I definitely had my moments of sweet tears. The spice as always was top tier.

I totally though I had the outcome figured out but NOPE Jillian totally got me on this one 💕

I am so excited to see what else we get in the series!

Sometimes you just need a low angst overly sweet Omegaverse with cinnamon roll alphas and Jillian West is one of my fav authors who always delivers.

This is no exception. I loved the premise and the underlying message that family is who you make it.

I'm so glad Melody found love and her sexy pack. I loved all the guys but especially Oliver. His neurodivergent ass was a hoot.

I read this straight through.

Melody starts unsure of herself and the guys' intentions but she grows a backbone and I do love character growth. Oliver was definitely my favorite! I love a neurospicy character. He's classic ASD with ADHD 👋 hi me too.

Carver and Miller were protective and on board from the very first moment Melody found out she was pregnant. Even Nik ended up growing and evolving into who Mel needed him to be.

No major spoilers but I loved it.

No MM
No cheating
No OW - minor OM from her ex but he doesn't try to steal her back or anything
Low stress & tidy ending
Breeding and BF kink - more than the other books for the later

This author is like crack to me. Everything they write is just amazing and she’s probably one of my all time favourites authors for pregnancy/single mum trope. She just does it so well. If you’re looking for a low angst spicy why choose book with four hot daddies then this is the book for you.
I fell inlove with allll the characters which rarely happens for me in why choose books but they were just all so distinct and loveable. Although I do think Oliver was my favourite.

Melody’s ex is an asshole. Not only did he lead her on for 10 years, but he also made sure no other Alpha in their small town would even look twice at her. After a disastrous Christmas trip with his family (where she was sure he was going to finally propose) has her finally seeing his true colors and realizing he is never going to change, Melody takes her future into her own hands and signs up for The Omega Exchange, determined to find her own pack and start the family she so desperately craves. Thankfully Nikolas Vincent and his ragtag pack (Oliver Turner and Maxim Miller) just so happen to be running the family business while his brother who normally runs their Omega Exchange location is on his honeymoon. It just so happens that they too are in search of the Omega of their dreams to complete their pack, and it turns out Melody (and her amazing scent) are exactly what they are looking for. This is a super sweet, super low angst story that follows Melody and her guys on their journey to beginning a happy family perhaps a little quicker than they initially thought. Jillian West writes some of the best Omegaverse stories I have ever read, and this book is just another example of her amazing writing. My heart was so full by the end of this book!

Yesssss! I’ve read all of Jillian’s interconnected books starting back from A Pack For Christmas! That first book has held the top spot for me as a favorite, but dang this one was a close a second!
I was so excited to see Melody get her book! My heart went out to her when we were introduced to her in previous books. To watch her grow in confidence and meet her endearing group of guys, it was everything she deserved! Some of her lines (especially as a mom) had me cracking up. The spice was….pure filthy perfection! The variety of personalities within her pack I absolutely loved too! Oliver was so awkward and endearing, I could eat him up! Miller stole my heart from the get go. But each guy was so well individualized and the pack was perfectly balanced. Even seeing certain side characters come into themselves at the end, I really enjoyed it!

This is a Melody’s story after the Christmas exchange with Evelyn.

I found there were too many similarities in this one and the Christmas exchange. The men are a lot like too. Beta friend who’s not quite in the pack but also falls for the girl, rich alpha owner, Alpha security who’s a cinnamon roll. The women are identical. Their shy insecure personalities. Both hurt and lonely omegas looking for love and find their scent matched packs immediately to getting to the resort.

This book leans heavy on the pregnancy. It follows along the entire pregnancy. The book was fun and I liked it, but I grew tired of chapter after chapter of her pregnancy vomiting and cravings.

2.⭐️ because Oliver was the only original aspect of this book.

CUTE AND CUDDLY

4.5 🌟

I really enjoyed this book!! It was sweet with the perfect amount of spice! I also loved how the characters came together and the story line!! All the characters are great too and I don’t have a favorite guy but MILLER!! Love his obsessive self!!

I rated this 4.5 for the small amount of angst for about 50% of the book!! This is a fluffy read but there was a lot of insecurity on Melody’s part and it wasn’t really explained besides the obvious! I think I wanted more character development between the group when it came to the bonds!

Overall an amazing stand alone omegaverse with a guaranteed HEA!! 💕

Jillian did a phenomenal job with this book here! I’m a sucker for omegaverse recently, and this hit all of the best spots! Miller, Nik, Oliver, Carver, and Melody are perfect for each other! This does follow Melody’s pregnancy from beginning to end, while dealing with bonding with her alphas and a beta…oh and a horrible ex.
The spice was constant and I loved how feral the guys and Melody were for each other!!!

If you've read J West you know what to expect.
Its not revolutionary or thought provoking but it'll get the job done if you want something light to pass the time between dark books.
Heavy on the pregnancy.
Ben is still trash.

Jillian West's Omegaverse Exchange novels are the ultimate comfort reads. They are the sweetest stories, with the loveliest alphas, and in the this case beta, you could hope for.

We met Melody in an earlier book and you couldn't help but feel for her and want her to get her own happily ever after. Her ex Ben is a total douche and has done a number on her self confidence. Enter Nik, Miller, Oliver, and Carver.

Miller was my personal fav, just a sweet but dominant alpha who goes all in. I also loved the way Melody was absolutely perfect for Oliver, she was always on the same page and knew exactly what was needed.

If you're looking for a super sweet omegaverse, definitely check this one out.

Just wasn't really my jam. I know she was in a horrid relationship, but Melody spent so much time pining for and then being a doormat for Ben that by the time she was invested in the others, really invested, it was too late for me.

And, truth be told, the fact that she was fine ditching Luke while he was stationed away in the military because he was a beta and then took up with his brother shortly after didn't really sit well with me either. Not that she should pay for it in any way, but it made her less sympathetic for me. Harder to connect.

This author has been a go to lately for omegaverse without M/M. So I was glad to see that she was having another book release. This was a sweet romance and I enjoyed Melody's road to happiness with her guys. We have breeding kinks, a pregnancy, and a lot of steamy heat scenes.

The author did a good job at keeping the guys all different in her writing. I did like all of them, but probably would have switched Carver and Oliver around. Oliver gave beta energy through and through. Carver definitely should have been an alpha from the beginning.

Besides switching Oliver and Carver around, we could have had fewer everyday scenes. It made some of the book slow down a bit. Along with that, everything wrapped up a bit too nicely with the ex. I would have loved to see him and her mother suffer a bit more. But that's just me.

Overall, this was a sweet and steamy story. I'm looking forward to more new releases from this author.

Apparently I'm having a real sweet omegaverse binge right now. I don't know why, but it is the only thing holding my interest.

This one was okay. A little slow, and I found the FMC to be a bit blah - I didn't realize this was the chick from the earlier book who dumped Luke because he wasn't an alpha, and then immediately started hooking up with his brother as soon as he went off to the military. It's hard to feel much sympathy, frankly, and so I rolled my eyes a lot over her neediness.

Melody's journey was sweet. She ended a ten year relationship after being taken for granted and dissed, vowing to find a way to love and believe in herself. What she finds is a pack who needed her exact brand of sass and gentleness to fill their missing link. Miller is a giant teddy bear who I would love to cuddle with on the coldest of nights. Nik is demanding and bossy but always wants the best for Mel. Oliver is my favorite. His unfiltered self had me smiling all over the place. I wasn't sure about Carver at first because I didn't know what his intentions were, but he made it clear how hard he fell for the Omega and found his rightful place within the pack. The ending made me super happy, and I loved the extra glimpses of their HEA we saw in the epilogues.

The writing in this book was really good. However, at about the 50% mark we find out that she is pregnant with her awful ex's baby instead of with her new packs. This is a trope I hate in books and so it definitely brought down the enjoyment factor and rating for me. (Although, I do feel like the author handled it well)

Plus Two is a standalone, non-shifter Omegaverse, that is definitely a must read. If you've stuck with me for a while, then you know that the pregnancy is definitely not my jam. Of course, there are few exceptions.

I COMPLETELY DEVOURED THIS! I was hooked from the very beginning. Normally, I like my Whychoose with all the spice, with NO consequences. Buuut, I'm willing to make an exception for Jillian West. Her writing is phenomenal! The character development and the chemistry between Melody, Miller, Nik, Carver, and Oliver were just incredible. Definitely worth the read!!!

This is a nice, sweet, low angst omegaverse. I haven’t read any other books in this series but I liked this one enough to check them out for sure.

I really appreciated the author’s note in the beginning. I go through really anxious times occasionally and when I do I need lots of assurances and spoilers for the stuff I read or I just end up re-reading my trusty comfort reads.

⚠️Spoilers below this point ⚠️

The reason I didn’t rate this one higher is that h is pregnant by the shitty, cheating ex. I recognize this sort of thing does happen, in the real world, life is messy and all but… I just hated this element of the story. The author had to bend over backwards to make the baby belong to the ex. The last time she was intimate with the ex was over 2 prior, she WASN’T in heat during conception AND she was on birth control. Yes, really. 😒 Her pregnancy is a big part of the story so it really just made this lose some appeal.

However, outside of that, I liked the Hs and h. I like the low angst vibe and I enjoyed the authors writing style overall. This would have easily been 4 stars if she’s gotten pregnant by one of her pack.

No push away
The beta was formerly a manwhore
No OW drama
OM drama, via the ex
No cheating
No scenes with others
No separation
HEA
Multiple epilogues

Safety - it’s pretty safe. Her ex was a cheating douchebag. The beta in the pack was previously a manwhore. There was only one scene in which he interacts with any OW but h chases her off and he wasn’t interested to begin with.

Characters:
Melody, Miller, Oliver, Nik, and Carver

Synopsis:

Thoughts:
I didn't read any other books sharing the universe but my first thought is: Kudos to the author for giving a short summary at the beginning for any pertinent details!!! It was refreshing to not have to try and figure out everything with names dropping left and right. As far at the book goes, it was wholesome and steamy and parts were pretty cute . I loved how supportive all the guys were. Oliver was especially great because Mel just got him and all his oddball behaviors. All the guys were great. I also liked that we didn't have to deal with a whole lot of drama.

DNF @ 52%

I love Jillian West but this was a miss for me.

This is simultaneously too much like A Pack for Christmas yet missing the pacing and fun that made that one so enjoyable. (Melody & her ex Tom appear briefly in that book, but that background didn't help me here.)

As always - West is great at writing distinct characters. The guys are great and I especially enjoyed Oliver. Unfortunately I couldn’t connect with Melody. Her background was flat and the details of her previous relationship were repetitive. Her motivation isn’t consistent and the ex’s actions are described vaguely.

My biggest complaints (Spoilers)

At this point I just don’t want to invest another 4 hours in a FMC I don’t like. It won’t keep me from reading more West in the future. I’m looking forward to diving back into the Monstrous World series.

Full Preggo Story

This was almost exactly the story I was in the mood for. What I loved most was how sweet and funny it was. The author did a good job of giving all the pack equal time and development. I also enjoyed that she kept it really about how beautiful but disgusting and frustrating pregnancy can be. This was very very low angst and while it happened quickly it wasn’t insta-love. This is proof OV really has it all and is a top tier sub-genre.

DNF @78% I’m still going to mark it as read because I did get through a decent amount of it.

I picked this book because after reading The Fake Mate by Lana Ferguson I was craving some more omegaverse. However, most of the omegsverse books out there (or at least the ones I found) are RH, which I don’t particularly enjoy and was also the case for this book.

Some of the humor is kind of goofy or over the top but for whatever reason I still seem to thoroughly enjoy everything this author writes. The writing isn't bad and there aren't complicated plots it's something I can read and just relax.
For that alone it's 5 stars based on my enjoyment.

I enjoyed this book but Ive enjoyed her other books more.

Learning the ‘twist’ so late into the story is the only reason I finished it. Can’t help but love the pack though! I LOVE cuddly alphas 🤌🏻

A very strong 4 stars.
Humor 10/10. I laughed so hard at the beginning of the book that I literally had tears stream down my face, especially in the first sex scene when she had her first heat it was hilarious, almost sexual slapstick.
I am completely in love with Oliver and Carver. Two of the best leading male characters in a series ever. Really truly well written and unique hats off to the writer.
The only reason I didn’t get five stars is because I felt like the sex scenes. Could’ve been a little bit more plentiful and longer. I felt like they were too short.
I also wasn’t a huge fan personally of the whole pregnancy thing. But that’s just a personal preference.
The book was really good and very well written and I really enjoyed it.
