Have you ever woken from sleep in terror wondering if you were living the reality of what just took place or just a dream nightmare? C S Dixon paints a suspenseful vivid picture with his gripping words in "Fly on the Wall" of Mark's psychological confusion and fear. As Mark tries to navigate in the pitch black room, a frightening buzzing starts and increases in volume until he is forced to cover his ears. Mark smells a stench and is dragged across the floor by fuzzy limbs. What chilling terror has Mark encountered? How is he able to endure the continual buzzing, smell, and attack to him without knowing how to defend himself? I highly recommend this suspenseful chilling short story by C S Dixon. What lies in wait for your next terror dream nightmare or is it your reality?

Fly on the Wall is a cleverly written, adrenalin pumping, spine chilling horror thriller, full of suspense and tension from a master of the short story, C.S. Dixon.
The confused and tormented protagonist awakes in a dark, menacing and confined space. Where is he? Is it a nightmare or reality? Is he alone? Who or what awaits him? How will it all end?
You are grabbed and pulled into this spooky, hair on the back of the neck raising short story from the very first page to the unexpected and surprising twist at the end.
Fly on the Wall is a thoroughly enjoyable read and I certainly recommended it.

Mark wakes in a small confined space not knowing where he is or why it is so dark. He feels no way out, but he hears buzzing that won’t stop. The insect is hitting him and dragging him making him fight to stay away from what sounds like a fly.

Susan, Mark’s girlfriend comes in the bathroom to find him unconscious on the floor. This book takes you through a terrifying journey whose reality isn’t understood until the end. Another twisting suspenseful story by C. S. Dixon.

Kafkaesque but different, I think this is a great piece of writing - very intense and impressively imagined. I like the way it keeps you guessing as to whether what is happening is delusion or reality: first it pulls you in one direction then pushes you in the other - then the dramatic resolution!
