Kellan Kyle finally has everything he’s always wanted—a woman who loves him more than he ever thought possible, family who genuinely cares about him, and the best friends a person could ask for. His band has found success, and they are well on their way to making their dreams come true. But as Kellan quickly learns, sometimes dreams come with a price.

As the band’s popularity increases, Kellan becomes the focal point of a global media frenzy, one that threatens every aspect of the wonderful life he’s been building. With every step, Kellan is pressured, manipulated, and exploited by powerful people who will do anything to achieve their goals. As the hysteria surrounding Kellan escalates, he wonders if his rocketing fame will be a new beginning…or the end of everything.

*Please note: Wonderful is the retelling of Reckless (Thoughtless #3) . It is that story told from Kellan’s point of view.

Well. Now it's all over. Last book ever! 😢😢😢
I loved this so much!
Kellan is my all time favorite book boyfriend and he was so weirdly wimpy needy softish insecure and so much more in the first two books in his POV. But he was so much better in this last book. Yes, he still really needs to see a professional to deal with his past and his parents. But he is so much better now. Kiera helped so much. His real dad and siblings helped. They all helped him deal with everything.
I really loved reading this. Yes, we miss a lot of what is happening - like the hopsital moments and the fans outside - it's still in here but from Kiera's POV it was so much more obviously.
But I loved this book. I don't know if I will read the whole series again one day - I don't think I can take all that pain again. LOL!
Perfect book. Perfect series. Beautiful Cover. Best book boyfriend evver!
Now please Netflix, come and do this. I want to see Kellan Kyle. But make it a good one!

Kellan Freaking Kyle!!!!!!!

To say I was over the moon excited for this book is an understatement. Kellan Kyle, my ultimate Book Boyfriend. To hear his version, his thoughts, he feelings, was everything I needed. I totally summed up the ENTIRE series. I always wondered what Kellan thought about in certain situations. If you are a die hard fan of Kellan Kyle and the rest of the D-Bags, than this book is a definite MUST READ!!!!

Thank you S.C. Stephens for giving us just a little more of our favorite rockstar.

five years too late but i love kellan kyle’ story. i still think kiera lacks a little personality when reading through kel’ pov. wish the author had written this sooner when the hype was at its peak.

Another POV book (meaning redundant)...but there was enough new stuff to make it interesting. Nice closure to the series.

My rating: 5 stars

What I loved: I loved having Kellan(H)’s point of view for this last book. This book definitely made me feel the love between him and Kiera(h).

What I didn’t like: I wish Kellan would have handle the groupie hitting Kiera differently. Him being to busy to address it and with other things going on, it just didn’t fit his personality especially how much he worried about her. Also, hated the phone number game, especially knowing that it was a stupid game. Again he should have shut that shit down (he even admits it’s a terrible game and was worried how Kiera was going to handle it) even if Kiera was ok with it.

***Major Spoilers/ Details/Triggers: Ow drama. This is Kellan’s point of view from the book Reckless. In this book we get how the H is feeling and how much he loves the h. H and h are married (not officially but in their hearts they are). When they get back to their place one of the H’s past sexual partners/ old roommate is there. She tells him that she wants money for the stuff the h got rid of or she will show everyone the sex tape they made in the past. H agrees to give her money if she leaves. h wants to know what is going on when he tells her he is going alone to pay ow. H, realizing that keeping secrets was what messed them up in the past, tells her about the sex tape. h happy that he told her the truth lets it drop. H goes on tour and the h goes when she finishes up with work and her parents leave. h shows up and H is finally feeling happy and complete knowing that the h will be with him during this whole tour. When the label asks him to do a song with a female artist, the H at first is hesitant but seeing his band mates happy decides to do it. Ow flirts with the H and when the label sees how the fans like them together, tells the H that he wants the H and ow to look like they are dating. H wants to say no but again he feels like he owes his band mates this opportunity and agrees (especially when the h tells him it’s ok). The label also makes him do a sexy music video that the H has to pretend he is making love to the ow (this includes kissing while they both are practically naked). Again he doesn’t want to but feels obligated especially since he signed an agreement with the label company. H tells the label that he will no longer pretend but he also won’t let the fans know that he is married to the h. H tells the paparazzi that he is with someone else but not ow. Obviously, the fans love the H and ow together and the label make them go on tour together. The ow from the past leaks the sex tape but everyone believes it is the ow/singer. When H tries telling the fans no one believes him. H asks ow to help squash the rumors but instead she feeds it. When the H and h are caught at his parents graves kissing everyone goes after the h. H’s family and friends worry about the h. When h goes to the H to let him know that her sister is in labor, one of the fans slap her. H realizing that the ow isn’t going to help nor the label, decides to come out about the h and their marriage. His band mates agree. When they do a radio interview they come clean about everything. Coming out of the interview h gets pushed into the street with a car coming straight at her. The H pushes her and he gets hit. While H is getting better at the hospital, the ow comes clean about the fake relationship, the label apologizes and the H and h get married. HEA with the h publishing her book, them taking a short break to be with family, buying a big house, h getting pregnant, having a baby boy and the band mates finally proposing to their girlfriends.

Final thoughts: I really enjoyed getting Kellan’s pov. I’m actually sad it’s over now. Definitely would do a reread and will at it to my favorites.

I came across the Thoughtless series by accident. I was 15 years old when I walked into Barnes and Noble and saw the first book sitting in all it's glory. I had never heard anyone talk about it or review it, but I took a chance because something about it just called out to me. I'm glad I did because this series has been nothing but a constant joy in my life for the past 12 years. Like it seriously had me in a chokehold, I could not let it go or forget about it. Was Kellan Kyle's POV worth all those years of waiting? Absol-fucking-utely. I truly don't think I'll ever love a series as hard as I love this one. Especially after reading this last one right here. From the second I read Kiera's POV, I had to get inside Kellan's head. And Ms. Stephens delivered. Let me tell you, as soon as I saw all Kellan's books (especially this one!) were coming, I literally screamed like the 15 year old I was when I finished reading the first one. I wanted to know everything Kellan was thinking for all of them, but Wonderful? Oh, this one was the cherry on top of a fantastic reading journey. Just when you think you know how amazing this fictional man is.. BOOM, he gives you even more amazingness. I savored every sentence, every conversation, every chapter. We got a little more to the ending than Reckless and it completed me in ways I needed! Whenever I get asked what my favorite book/series is, these books, without a doubt, jump into my head. I hope I get to see more from the other characters because I don't think I can ever say goodbye. It's too hard. I pray for a D-Bags prequel on how they banded or even an Evan/Jenny or Matt/Rachel book would just make my life! But for now, I'm content. I can see myself at 80, re-reading this series and still falling head of heels for Kellan Kyle.

Here are some quotes that made me feel things, laugh my ass off, and much more:

"Kiera was my home, my happy place, my quiet in the chaos."

"My best friend, my partner, my soulmate...my wife. Thank God, I hadn't lost her."

"From the back of the bar, I heard Griffin yell out, "You're a whore!" "

"Because you're everything I've always wanted, everything I never knew I could have, and everything I hope to have from here on out. You are my past, my present, and my future."

"Fuck. I had a thing for pink, and that was something I hadn't known before. But the longer I looked, the harder I got, so I couldn't ignore it. I liked pink. Or I liked her in pink.

"No, I get you tonight and every night, so I'm pretty sure I won." SWOON.

"It isn't about trying to get her or trying to keep her. I just can't contain how much I love her."

"A part of me couldn't believe this was actually happening, that this was real, but I'd done it; I'd finally married the woman of my dreams."

"Damn. I'd said it before, and I was sure I'd say it again, but I was one lucky son of a bitch."

"And I smiled as I held her tight, as I listened to my son's tiny breaths, and I thanked every fate there was that life had worked out this way for me."

"The future was bright, and the past had finally released me. Or more accurately, I'd released it. I was beyond great. I was wonderful."

Every time I spend time with Kellan Kyle I am reminded why so many romance readers name him as their number one book boyfriend. If anyone deserves happiness, success and peace, it is Kellan.

I always find my emotions get the better of me when reading any of the Thoughtless series. The sharing of Kellan’s vulnerability, fragility and insecurities throughout his story is bound to set the reader off on an emotional roller coaster ride. What he goes through during his childhood absolutely breaks my heart. I cannot understand how any individual could treat another in the way that some people (especially the Kyles) behaved towards Kellan. Keira and Kellan sharing their own POVs of their unfolding romance and lives together has brought many tears to my eyes over the years, and thankfully they have not always been tears of sadness. Now that my journey with the couple is over, I absolutely love that my heart is bursting its seams with emotion for this wonderful family made up of Kellan, Kiera, the band and their immediate close circle.

Wonderful is the retelling of Reckless told from Kellan’s POV and I appreciate all the more what the couple went through from learning his thoughts and emotions. Plus, I loved witnessing situations where Kiera was not present, thus not shared during her telling in the original trilogy.

Thank you, S.C. Stephens, for giving us just a little more of our favourite rock star. This is one series that I will reread over and over again for certain – with tissues at hand of course! Plus, I'll never give up hope that the author shares more of Kellan with us at a future date.

Wonderful will be included in my list of top reads of 2024. I highly recommend this series to you to read.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4 stars. I've read almost all the authors books in this series except the one before the one. The length had intimidated me, especially when it wasn't a new story but just in Kellan's point of view instead of Kiera's. I needed something I didn't have to be so focused in in the last couple of weeks. I just didn't expect it to take so long to get through 700 pages. I'd nearly forgotten the whole Sienna Sexton mess. Keeping in mind, the first 3 books were written 10+ years ago, things have changed, and there's hints of that in Wonderful.

Kellan is an emotional, thoughtful man who is haunted by his abusive childhood and by how he and Kiera started. The reader can see how deeply he loves her and his insecurities about how unconditional that love from her is, not because of her character but his trauma. He finally becomes the man he's supposed to be as he meets his birth father and extended family. It's a whole different side to Kellan Kyle.

My gripe that certain words are used a lot remains. If I had known how to tally up, how many times the author uses "instantly" or "relief washes over me," I would. It's another 700 page NA romance, not Shakespeare, but it was comfortable and familiar, which I needed. I wish the author success with finding another couple as popular as Kiera and Kellan.

4 stars ⭐

Well this was a nice ending to the series. I really enjoyed reading it through Kellans pov. The last quarter especially was so sweet with seeing them become parents to little Ryder 🥰

I have to admit that I preferred Kiera in this last book to Kellan though. He did annoy me at times. I mean, still really like him and so happy that he finally got his happiness, that they both did. I think this is just a very emotionally draining series and by the third book I'm emotionally spent. It was nice to see how much they had both grown, I just feel like Kellan made some weird choices here though. All we ever here in his inner monologues is how much Kiera is his everything and how nothing matters more than her, yet some choices don't back that up. Sure, sometimes he was backed into a corner but I really hated how he did that music video. That is something that can never be erased and it was just like, ugh. Regardless if he didn't want to do it, he still did. And certain parts with his fans..I know they mean a lot but the part where a fan hit Kiera was kind of just skimmed over imo? I thought there'd be more of a reaction to that.

Anyway, glad to have finished the series. It was a difficult and emotional journey but still a good love story :)

OMG!! Knowing how this story goes, did not help my anxiety while reading it!! I had to skip to see when the nightmare was going to end, so I was very happy when I found out chapter 30 76% in I could finally breathe again, even though I knew what was then coming!

It’s sad this is the end as I could never tire of these two, their love was so hard to get to this stage for them, not many could come out like they did, Keira always grew on me every step of the way, but Kellan had my heart from the first ‘Mornin’, he is just everything!!

I have read these books countless times, and I know I will now be adding this one too, however I will skip out the whole ‘manipulation’ section as my heart can’t take it!

Cowboy Kellan 🥵 THANK YOU S.C. STEPHENS!!

Just when I didn’t think I could love Kellen Kyle anymore! Kellen was my first “book boyfriend” from years ago when I originally read the Thoughtless series and reading Wonderful made my heart smile. I am a bit sad that the series has come to an end however I can only hope we will get the next generation of D-Bags (hint hint).

Wonderful (Thoughtless, #7) by S.C. Stephens

⭐ - Nope. I do not recommend. I did either DNF or skipped to the last chapter just to end it.
⭐⭐ - It's not for me. More than likely I skimmed because I got bored. Will not read again.
⭐⭐⭐ - I may recommend. I liked it, but didn't love it. I may have gotten bored at some point.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ - YES... I recommend. I really enjoyed the plot and characters.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - 100% YES... I will always recommend. I loved the plot, characters...everything!

5 Wonderful Stars for my favorite rock star

Reading Kellan’s POV was like reading a different book in a good way. Very few authors can pull off a different POV book but SC Stephens does thus fantastically. I’ve loved reading Kellan’s books, you finally truly understand all his insecurities and feelings that wren from his childhood and you finally understand how he really feels about Kiera and how her love truly heals him along with the love from all the other people in his life. Thus was a wonderful ride!

Loved it

I had read the first three books when they came out and had wished that the books had also contained Kellan's pov. There were certain scenes that I had wished that I knew what Kellan was thinking. So when the author had finally started releasing Kellan's pov, I was overjoyed. There were parts of the book where I got frustrated with Kellan because he should have done more to protect Kiera. I'm sad that their story has come to an end but I would love it if Mat and Evan each got their own book. I would also like to read Denny's pov with everything that happened.

Best book of the series!

One way I know I have read something by a great author is when I dislike a character but the author has me falling in love with the character. Kiera was not my favorite character in the beginning of “Thoughtless” but by the time I read Kellan’s viewpoints I really loved her as much as I loved Kellan’s character. I have a really bad case of a book hangover now that I have finished this book and I am looking forward to more magic from S.C. Stephens when I read a few more of her books.

KK is so romantic

Thank you SC for writing this book from Kellan’s POV. I cried when reading how Kellan suffered during the video taping. Then the truck accident and wedding. A perfect ending to a great storyline. How cute to see Ryder changing Kellan into a fantastic father. Kellan finally realized he was loved and to let the pain go. Definitely will keep this on my list of books to read over and over.

I actually reread all the previous Kiera POVs and Kellan POVs before I tackled this. So nice to see the ending from Kellan’s perspective because I’ve always had a soft heart for his poor misunderstood soul. And this book really resolved all the happy endings for these two.

I love how Kellan pays attention to different things than Kiera does. And I love the extended ending/epilogue comes out, including hints about the start of Griffin’s book.

Such a satisfying read. Thank you, SC 🙏🏼

Wow!! Just WOW!!!

First, Kellan was my first “book boyfriend” and has ALWAYS been my absolute favorite!!! This book 💯 lives up to the title!!! I did not think I could love this character any more than I already did.. I was WRONG!!!

I swear if I could duplicate this character into real life, I would be one happy girl!!!

Thank you for showing the readers the love of Kellan Kyle!!!!

Phenomenal!!

This is an amazingly story which is told in Kellan's point of view. This is a beautifully written emotionally roller coaster, which has engaging and realistic characters, family, friendships, humour, witty banter, challenges, intrigue, twists, undeniable chemistry, unconditional love, and leads to an entertaining, and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I had the opportunity to revisit Kellan Kyle's tumultuous world and witness his transformation from a man plagued by his past insecurities to someone who finds comfort in love and support. Through Kellan's eyes, we see a moving exploration of the complexities of love, fame, and personal growth. The glare of the spotlight brings its own set of challenges, putting his newfound happiness at risk. But, the strength, the profound bonds of love, and the journey of self-discovery made a lasting impact on me. Despite his flaws and achievements, Kellan's character felt genuine and relatable, turning this book into an emotional experience that resonates deeply.

Rest story

I read this along side Reckless and it was great to read them that way and get both views that way rather than read them separately. I really didn't like the pop singer nor Nick. She was going after Kellan and you knew it. That video was made on blackmail and it was illegal the way he was coerce into doing it. Sadly it sounds as if they have no legal help. I'm glad it turned out good for everyone.

Kellan, pov was so powerful. I felt every struggle, the doubts, the fears, the pain, and then the love every time he look at kiera. The closure of this series was beyond amazing. And I give MS Stevens two thumbs up! Can't wait for the movie! Make sure kellan is so hot like the book describes him. 😍
