Finding Love
No one understood why I wanted to purchase the old abandoned mining town hidden in the Smoky Mountains. I’ve been up here for nearly a year now, working out my anger as I tear down old structures and clear the way for new construction.
Still can’t seem to get rid of the demons that chased me all the way up the mountain in the first place.

H 10 year celibate, no history with other women described. He seems comfortable about sex and being in control. He says that giving up control and letting him have it is a great experience, so he has experienced that with other women, which I hate.
She is all his, he is NOT all hers, so NOT a one true love story.
Both scarred with PTSD, the h lost her parents at 7 and had night terrors that angered her aunt, and the H suffered PTSD after a mission gone wrong.
HEA (Don't quite believe it)
This is short and I am not looking forward to the series. The H pushes the h away twice. The first time, he just leaves the cabin to "patrol" the area, (and that was after their first sexual encounter, when she was vulnerable, she basically humped him in her sleep, but he enjoyed it). He comes back after she cleans his cabin thinking that is what she does when her aunt is mad at her. He comes in and when she apologizes he profusely apologizes to her and I thought that part was palatable and even sweet.
The next time, after she loses her virginity to him, she asked to get to town for internet to blog and to check on things, so he is cold to her and drives her to town, not talking to her, when she tries to ask if she did anything to upset him, he says "No". She is in tears and says she will be at the coffee house for an hour if he wants to join her. What angered me, is that he thinks that she needs more than a cabin and he can't give her that and he is damaged bla bla, but he is so selfish that he forgets that SHE is damaged and needs his love and care. Instead of being an asshole she decided to face her PTSD with sunshine and happiness what does he do? He let her heal him and took her virginity only to throw her away. He said he regretted it as soon as she went to her car, so that means he was ready to drop her off never to see her again during the whole car ride to town.
He did think he was stupid to do that and went to her right away at the coffee house, seeing her in tears and promising her internet and a new room to be her office and just to move in with him,that he loves her and wants a life with her and he is sorry for how he reacted. She hugs him, forgives him, they are happy and all is well.
He was making over an old mining town, and was going to get a cell tower installed and his buddies were going to move in and build homes of their own. Why didn't he just tell her to stay and he will do all these things for her, he was going to do them anyways? Pushing her away the first time is forgivable, but the second time killed the romance for me, because that is his go to. He feels his emotions threatened? Throw away the problem. What angered me, was 2 months later in the epilogue, she tells him she is pregnant, he is happy but stunned so she folds into herself and is nervous he doesn't want a baby. He then sees his stupid stunned face is giving her the impression he isn't happy, and quickly tells her he is happy and kisses her belly which I admit was cute. What bothered me was that she still is unsure of his feelings for her. Otherwise she would not have felt unsure and scare of his reaction, and who can blame her, he pushed her away twice when she was at her most vulnerable, their first sexual encounter and the second time when they first had sex, so of course she is nervous. She shouldn't be, she should feel safe with him.
I don't believe in the HEA, even in the epilogue where it seems like years later with kids and their friends and their kids, and all is sunshine and happiness, all I thought of was how many more times did he leave her because of whatever reason. Probably plenty.
He was sweet and loving to her when he didn't throw her away, and I loved that part of him, but this emotional whiplash was just a lot. Not all veterans, scarred with PTSD are assholes that hurt the woman they fall in love with, and that is a trope that seems to be insensitive and overused. Some do have nightmares and feel inadequate, but that is where the romance comes in and he is healed by her love. When he would normally lash out, turn it around and write that he can't lash out at the love of his life because her love for him and his love foe her, is a balm of healing. Throw away the pushing-away-coldly trope and replace it with a scene where when he feels lost in his panic attack and he starts shaking, she hugs him and fiercely hugs her back soaking up her love and care. But don't then ruin it with him pushing her away and ignoring her, letting her stew in confusion and sadness, just to get some angst in the story.
In this case he should feel sympathy for HER trauma, and when he sees her feel anxious and nervous, he pulls her in his arms to show her that she is safe with him, which he does! So when he resorts to pushing her away rather than have an epic "I love you" moment, it soured the romance and sweetness he had for her.
The rest of the series is all scarred veterans, and I have a feeling they will either push away the heroine or say something hurtful, or be assholes to them, only to beg for forgiveness when it is too little too late. I might read the next one, but if it is the same scarred-hero-being-an-asshole-to-his-heroine bullshit, I am not going to continue the series.

Wilder is a grump, but he's also dealing with the trauma he's been dealing with since his last mission as an Army Ranger. Hiding out and not being around nobody until he saves Ari, who's a paranormal travel/writer trying to show her family she can do anything, she sets her heart out.
The two have an insta connection, but Wilder does push away thinking he isn't good enough, but I'm glad he took his head out his butt and showed Ari what she's worth!!
I do wish we showed some of the paranormal travels, even if it was one scene. I can't wait for the others.

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Wilder and Ari (Arizona) met when she gets tangled up and falls down hill hitting a tree. Wilder bought an abandoned mining town on the side of the smokey mountains. Ari is trespassing on Wilder's mountain, she came to the smokey mountains to camp out she's a paranormal travel writer-investigator. Ari is investigating an abandoned mining town in the Smokey Mountains that use to be known as Slatesville over one hundred years ago. When Ari hears crunch outside of her tent, her mind starts to race on the things that could happen to her out in the woods all alone. Ari tries to get out of her sleeping bag, and off the side of the mountain. Ari rolls downhill in her sleeping bag with her backpack and blankets. Ari smashes into a tree her ankle and shin wedged between a tree and she hangs upside down. Ari hears someone heading in her direction, she screams until she can't scream anymore. Wilder tells her to calm down he's trying to help, but Ari tells him she comes in peace, if he's a lost soul looking to cross she can help. Wilder tells her he's not the one lost, she's on private property. Wilder gets the tent free from around Ari and she falls into his arms. When Ari scrambles out of his arms she yelps in pain when she puts her foot down. Wilder offers to take her back to his cabin to look at her ankle, then she can rest up for the night before she's on her way. Wilder introduces himself and tells her he a former Army Ranger and has field medic experience. When Ari introduces herself she lies but Wilder knows she's is, and thinks she's adorable. Wilder scoops her up in his arms and carry her back to his cabin. Wilder asks her what hurt and she lies and tells him nothing. Wilder calls her out on the lies so Ari tells him her ankle and she has a headache. Ari ask Wilder if he knows any ghost stories, but he doesn't so she tells him one. Wilder wonders why she visits dangerous places. Wilder tells Ari about his unit he was in charge of when they went on a mission that almost killed his best friend. Wilder takes Ari to his bed in the corner of the one-room cabin, grabs the first aid kit, and wraps her ankle. Wilder tells Ari to take his bed and he'll sleep on the floor. When Ari protest he tells her he's slept in worst places, but he build his cabin. Wilder tells her about his buddies that will be moving to build their own places in the old mining town. Ari asks him to tells her what they're going to do, but she falls asleep and Wilder smiles for the first time in forever and drifts off to sleep. Ari wakes up to a muffled sound, followed by another louder. The night before finally comes back to Ari. When she leans over the bed to see if Wilder is okay she realizes he's having a nightmare. Ari reaches out and strokes his skin, after a moment he relaxes then blinds his eyes open. Ari tells him he's okay and that it was just a dream. Ari suggest he climb into bed with her and she'll teach him some muscle relaxation techniques to try to calm down and get back to sleep. Wilder wants to know why she had nightmares, Ari tells him if he climbs into bed she'll tell him. Ari tells Wilder about losing her parents in a car accident when she was seven, she was the only survivor. After she woke up with nightmares she did some research on PTSD and night terrors. Ari goes through the deep breaths and gets Wilder to relax. The next day while they eat supper Wilder confesses to her that he can't remember the last time he fell back to sleep after having a nightmare. Not only did he fall back to sleep but he slept nearly half the day. When Wilder woke up Ari was sitting next to him reading one of his old Western novels it was peaceful like they do this all the time. Wilder asks her if she's going to tell him why he found her trapped in a tree. Ari tells him about the paranormal activity going around the old mining town he bought. Ari tells him no one knew the land had been purchased, reports of recent fires that were controlled. Wilder tells her the fires were to clear the brush in the construction area. Ari confesses her whole story is a bust, but she got some amazing sketches on the hike. When Ari tells him she needs to get back down the mountain Wilder tells her to stay. Ari tells him she doesn't want to be in his way, Wilder tells her that she won't be, he's not going to drop an injured woman off alone in the wilderness. Ari tells him she it's a paved parking lot she stored her car for safety. Wilder tells her to stay one more night so she can't show him the relaxation thing again. When Wilder wakes the next day he realizes that Ari is on top of him, and she's straddling him gently rocking herself up and down. Ari calls Wilder's name and he tries to control himself before he explodes. Right before Ari's orgasm hits her eyes fly open, Wilder tells her to come for him. Ari leans in and kisses Wilder before she comes, then goes limp in his arms. Ari apologize to him but Wilder tells her there's nothing to apologize for. When Wilder realizes that Ari deserves someone better, he'll only break her heart he doesn't know how to handle someone as precious as her. Wilder jumps out of bed and tells Ari he needs to do a perimeter check. Ari gets out of bed, testing the weight of her ankle surprised when there's no pain. Ari starts to clean the cabin, when she about to see what she can make the door swings open. Ari tells him what she did, then tells him she's sorry. Wilder doesn't understand, Ari tells him sorry for being weird, for jumping his bones, for being her. Wilder tells her she has nothing to be sorry for, he freaked out. Wilder tells her he doesn't deserve her, he's a broken man, but he wants to keep her. Ari can't believe he wants to keep her, Wilder tells her she's beautiful. Ari tells him she thought he was mad, Wilder tells her he was mad at himself, for making her feel like she had to clean, or prove her worth. Ari doesn't believe him so Wilder tells her he wants to show her how much he wants her. Wilder kisses her, and asks her if she'll give him control, if she trust him. Ari tells him she trust him, Wilder tells her she's beautiful when she gives him control. Wilder takes her to the bed, then undresses her. Wilder pleasures her then Ari tells him she wants more. Ari tells him she wants more she wants it all, then tells him she's a virgin. Wilder makes love to Ari, then collapses beside her. Ari relaxes against Wilder sleeping against him, he closes his eyes happier than he's ever been. The next morning before Wilder is wakes Ari pleasures him then they make love. Wilder tells her that she's everything to him. They lie next to each other, Wilder tells her how beautiful she is. Ari tells Wilder she should probably check her blog, email and if she has any missed calls. Wilder freezes, he tells her they'd better head out, her followers are probably missing her. They both get dressed and fifteen minutes late are riding down the mountain in silence. Ari thanks Wilder for his help, but all he does is nod. Ari suggest she buys him a meal at a little coffee shop she saw on the way in. Wilder doesn't answer her, so Ari asks him if she did something to offend him. Wilder replies with a no, before he has his truck parked Ari is out of it. Wilder calls her name and she looks over her shoulder at him, she tells him her offer still stand for coffee, she'll be at the cafe. Ari pulls into the cafe and sit in her car crying, then cleans herself up and head inside finding a side booth. Wilder drives through town, and realizes he shouldn't have left Ari. Wilder heads back to the cafe, when he finds Ari he realizes she's been crying. Wilder tells her he's having wi-fi installed on the mountain, and cell towers. He'll drive her to town everyday if she needs him to until they have internet. He'll build her her own office, and the cabin needs an upgrade, more storage. Ari asks him what, he's getting wifi and extra storage. Wilder tells her he loves her, Ari asks him if he's setting up his place so she can still write and conduct research. Wilder tells her he's not good at relationships he doesn't want to hurt her, and drag her down. Ari tells him it's perfect, she loves him too, she feels it deep in her soul. They begin kissing until someone asks they to take it to the parking lot. Wilder bends and picks up Ari and he knows she likes it when he carries her. When they get back to the cabin they pleasures one another then make love. Then Wilder and Ari take a shower so he can clean her up and do it all over again. Two months later, Wilder gets a call from Huxley, making sure him and Cassian haven't changed their mind about joining him not he mountain. Wilder is putting the final touches not her writing nook and he can't wait for her to see it. Ari tells him it's perfect, it doesn't look like much but on the inside it's filled with built in bookshelves, a writing desk, lounge chairs and a mini kitchen. Ari tells Wilder she has to tell him something and not sure how he'll take it. Wilder tells her whatever it is he's here and they'll face it together. Ari tells him she pregnant, Wilder's mind goes blank. Ari asks him if he's going to say something, she knows it's unexpected. Wilder tells her he can't believe it, he's so happy. Wilder scoops her off her feet and carries her inside, he tells her he loves her. Ari tells him she loves him too. Wilder can't wait for a lifetime filled with more perfect moments. Ten years later, they're married and have their ten year old son Kaden, six year old son Max, and three year old daughter Tina. They renamed the old mining town to Serenity. Wilder always makes sure Ari has time to write or sketch to her hearts content. Ari doesn't travel as much but they plan yearly haunted places to visit. Ari tells him she loves their lives, and thanks him for finding her all those years ago. Ari reaches out and strokes his skin, after a moment he relaxes then blinds his eyes open. Ari tells him he's okay and that it was just a dream. Ari suggest he climb into bed with her and she'll teach him some muscle relaxation techniques to try to calm down and get back to sleep. Ari tells Wilder about losing her parents in a car accident when she was seven, she was the only survivor. After she woke up with nightmares she did some research on PTSD and night terrors. Ari goes through the deep breaths and gets Wilder to relax. The next day while they eat supper Wilder confesses to her that he can't remember the last time he fell back to sleep after having a nightmare. Not only did he fall back to sleep but he slept nearly half the day. When Wilder woke up Ari was sitting next to him reading one of his old Western novels it was peaceful like they do this all the time. Wilder asks her if she's going to tell him why he found her trapped in a tree. Ari tells him about the paranormal activity going around the old mining town he bought. Ari tells him no one knew the land had been purchased, reports of recent fires that were controlled. Wilder tells her the fires were to clear the brush in the construction area. Ari confesses her whole story is a bust, but she got some amazing sketches on the hike. When Ari tells him she needs to get back down the mountain Wilder tells her to stay. Ari tells him she doesn't want to be in his way, Wilder tells her that she won't be, he's not going to drop an injured woman off alone in the wilderness. Ari tells him she it's a paved parking lot she stored her car for safety. Wilder tells her to stay one more night so she can't show him the relaxation thing again. When Wilder wakes the next day he realizes that Ari is on top of him, and she's straddling him gently rocking herself up and down. Wilder tells her he doesn't deserve her, he's a broken man, but he wants to keep her. Ari can't believe he wants to keep her, Wilder tells her she's beautiful. Ari tells him she thought he was mad, Wilder tells her he was mad at himself, for making her feel like she had to clean, or prove her worth. Ari doesn't believe him so Wilder tells her he wants to show her how much he wants her. Wilder kisses her, and asks her if she'll give him control, if she trust him. Ari tells him she trust him, Wilder tells her she's beautiful when she gives him control. Wilder takes her to the bed, then undresses her. Wilder pleasures her then Ari tells him she wants more. Wilder calls her name and she looks over her shoulder at him, she tells him her offer still stand for coffee, she'll be at the cafe. Ari pulls into the cafe and sit in her car crying, then cleans herself up and head inside finding a side booth. Wilder drives through town, and realizes he shouldn't have left Ari. Wilder heads back to the cafe, when he finds Ari he realizes she's been crying. Wilder tells her he's having wi-fi installed on the mountain, and cell towers. He'll drive her to town everyday if she needs him to until they have internet. He'll build her her own office, and the cabin needs an upgrade, more storage. Ari asks him what, he's getting wifi and extra storage. Wilder tells her he loves her, Ari asks him if he's setting up his place so she can still write and conduct research. Wilder tells her he's not good at relationships he doesn't want to hurt her, and drag her down. Ari tells him it's perfect, she loves him too, she feels it deep in her soul. They begin kissing until someone asks they to take it to the parking lot. Wilder bends and picks up Ari and he knows she likes it when he carries her. When they get back to the cabin they pleasures one another then make love. Then Wilder and Ari take a shower so he can clean her up and do it all over again. Two months later, Wilder gets a call from Huxley, making sure him and Cassian haven't changed their mind about joining him not he mountain. Wilder is putting the final touches not her writing nook and he can't wait for her to see it. Ari tells him it's perfect, it doesn't look like much but on the inside it's filled with built in bookshelves, a writing desk, lounge chairs and a mini kitchen. Ari tells Wilder she has to tell him something and not sure how he'll take it. Wilder tells her whatever it is he's here and they'll face it together. Ari tells him she pregnant, Wilder's mind goes blank. Ari asks him if he's going to say something, she knows it's unexpected. Wilder tells her he can't believe it, he's so happy. Wilder scoops her off her feet and carries her inside, he tells her he loves her. Ari tells him she loves him too. Wilder can't wait for a lifetime filled with more perfect moments. Ten years later, they're married and have their ten year old son Kaden, six year old son Max, and three year old daughter Tina. They renamed the old mining town to Serenity. Wilder always makes sure Ari has time to write or sketch to her hearts content. Ari doesn't travel as much but they plan yearly haunted places to visit. Ari tells him she loves their lives, and thanks him for finding her all those years ago. Wilder thanks her for saving him for himself, he loves her more today than he did back then, and he'll love her even more tomorrow.

Wilder and ex Army Ranger has bought himself an abandoned mining town after being discharged from the Army. He’s battling guilt and PTSD over an ambush when his fellow brothers were killed and injured as well as some civilians. He only sees the failure not the fact that his team saved 30+ people. He likes his peace and solitude, at least until some of his brothers leave the military and join him in making the town their home.
Ari is a paranormal travel writer-slash-investigator, she grew up loving ghost stories and made her passion her work. She’s in the Smoky Mountains investigating an abandoned old town. Some of her followers have said they have seen activity in and around so she decides to investigate.
They meet when she becomes scared while camping she gets injured, Wilder saves her from rolling into a ravine. He’s immediately smitten but fights it, he doesn’t deserve a young beautiful woman like her. She finds him attractive and though shy about her attraction is open to it.
They get close when she helps him when he is having a nightmare about the ambush. She wakes him and teaches him her breathing technique that helped her when her parents died when she was young.
Due to her swollen ankle and Wilder wanting her to stay they enjoy a couple of days together. Sexy times are hot and sweet, she a virgin he’s been celibate a long time. Finding Love is the first book in the Love on the mountain series. I loved this story and what is going to be the overarching story-line in the series, an old abandoned mining town in the Smoky Mountains which is going to become a community. Wilder is an ex-Army Ranger who about a year ago bought an abandoned mining town up in the Smoky Mountains. His plan is to build a community with his friends when they leave the Ranger's and then to expand it to other vets who want to find the solace but still be in a community. He has built a cabin, has solar for electricity and hot water, but lives a solitary life only going down the mountain to the town every few months for supplies. Ari is a paranormal travel writer-slash-investigator. She has always loved ghosts and ghouls, even as a young girl when she would get her father to tell non-fairy tale stories. When her parents were killed when she was seven she went to live with her Aunt Maureen, a cold and man woman. Maureen was her mother's sister and had never wanted kids so she did not like Ari and would belittle her father's memory. But Ari wanted to do something that she loved so she decided on a path that may not make her rich but would make her parents proud. Ari travels around the country to different paranormal places and investigates, writing about her experiences in a blog and selling her drawings to make money. She had heard about a haunted mining town up in the Smoky Mountains so she decided to hike up, camp out, and investigate. What she was not expecting was for the haunting to actually be a huge mountain man that ends up coming to her rescue after an incident with her tent becoming airborne and rolling down the mountain. Wilder may rescue Ari but it may just be her that rescues him before the end.
I fell in love with Ari and Wilder. They both pulled at my heart and then uplifted it when he finally pulled his head of out of his "you know what" to go after the woman and was meant to be his. I am really looking forward to this series and getting to see how the town transforms and just who will be joining it.

So, he purchased an old abandoned mining town in the Smoky Mountains. He is tearing things down and renovating everything. She was always fascinated by the stories her father would tell her about weird stuff like UFO sightings, strange stuff happening, etc. Her parents died in a car accident when Ari was seven. She survived the crash and was sent to live with her Aunt Maureen. Her aunt is appalled that Ari wants to travel the United States and write about it in a blog. Ari heard rumors about strange things happening at the abandoned mining town, so she is now on the mountain in a sleeping bag in a tent investigating. She hears a noise and she tries to get out of her sleeping bag and tent. She ends up rolling down the hill stuck in the sleeping bag and tent. She lands against a tree and hurt her ankle.
Wilder save Ari and takes her back to his cabin. He fixes up her ankle and puts her in his bed to rest. He ends up having a nightmare, but Ari helps him calm down with some relaxation methods. This is book number 1 of the Love on the Mountain series and focuses on Wilder and Ari. Wilder was a former Army Ranger who had been struggling a great deal with recovering mentally from the events that took place during his last mission. He had decided to buy an abandoned town with the hopes of rebuilding it. The last thing that he expects to find on his land is his salvation and his new purpose in life. He knew pretty quickly that Ari was someone special to him when he found her on his property injured. The connection the two shared was instant and strong right out the gate. I love how they both helped heal long rooted broken pieces of themselves by just being loved and nurtured by each other. I absolutely loved everything about this story and how perfect they were for each other! I can’t wait to see what else this series has to offer.

What’s better than a Cameron Hart book? As soon as I figure it out, I’ll let you know! This is a beautiful story about two people with PTSD for different reasons that make their way to each other. Ari and Wilder’s meet cute was funny. Ari is a paranormal/travel influencer. Wilder did not even know what that was!
Wilder purchased an old deserted town and plans to rebuild it. Ari stumbles upon his property looking for any paranormal activity. Wilder is trying to outrun his memories from his last mission as an Army Ranger. It went bad and he cannot seem to forgive himself. He doesn’t feel like he deserves someone like Ari. Wilder gets in his own way, plenty of times but luckily, Ari is patient and forgiving.
I absolutely love this book! Cameron has a way to showing characters you can relate to. Ari is a bigger young lady and I love that! A definite MUST read!.

This story is so special! Wilder is haunted by his time in the military and the emotional and physical scars he carries so he hides away believing he doesn't deserve a chance at normal life. Ari burst into his life as a bundle of light and love and just enough acceptance he needs to start living again. I LOVED Ari so much! It's always easy to fall for the broody grump with a beautiful heart hidden under his hurt/anger (which is Wilder to a T) but there was just something so special about Ari. She wasn't dealt the best hand in life but she remains positive and loving, it was so fun to see her get Wilder to open up and let her in, i loved her sense of humor, adventurous spirit and sweet innocence. This is a beautiful story of love, healing, redemption and the perfect amount of spice.

I read this thru KU and bought the book before I even finished it. Warning ⚠️ ‼️ If you are not a fan of smexy scenes then you will probably want to skip this one😜. Saying that, if you like kindle melting scenes then you should love this book.
This is a little bit different of a mountain man book 📕. They are actually building a town in the mountains. Wilder is a former Army Ranger and he came up with this idea and got his other Ranger buddies to help. Obviously each Ranger will get a story. I can’t wait to read the next though I am sure it will probably be very tame in the kindle melting scenes. I noticed with quite a few authors that the 1st book will be so frigging hot and the next book will be very lukewarm so I am prepared for that. I will of course read the whole series just might not buy them all. Enjoy reading 📖 🩷

Wilder has secluded himself on a mountain after his time in the service with the intent to build his own self-sufficient town with his fellow servicemen and friends. One night, unable to sleep, he wanders through the woods and comes upon a curvaceous beauty tumbling down the mountain in her tent. Ari is trying to make it on her own with her paranormal blog and is camping in haunted woods for her followers, only she is not as prepared as she thought she was. When Wilder rescues her she is instantly attracted to the giant gruff man. Together, the grumpy loner and the sweet sunshine girl may just find out that they have found their forever. I can't wait for the other stories in the series that will expand upon Wilder's friends. Steamy, sweet, alpha and beauty.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This romance has instant attraction, damaged characters, misconceptions, miscommunication, denial and plenty of ups and downs. Wilder is on his own mountainside, working on creating something from almost nothing. Ari is facing some fears and trying to forge her own path. These two meet after a paranormal investigation that almost ended with disaster. I liked Ari's character better than I did Wilder's. He just almost waited too late to redeem himself and it muddled the love story for me a little. They both are dealing with traumas from the past and that holds him back. This wasn't a favorite for me of Cameron's, but it wasn't a bad romance. I'm going to stay tuned for what comes next on the mountain

After getting out of the army, Wilder bought an old forgotten mining town in the mountains. Here he wants to create a welcoming place for his former army brothers to live and heal from the devastation they saw while serving. Ari is a paranormal investigator and writer. She’s in the mountains investigating an old mining town when she becomes hurt. Wilder finds her and becomes possessive of Ari from the moment he looks into her beautiful eyes. He feels he isn’t good enough for her with his PTSD and his mountain man ways but he sees through Ari’s sadness and wants to show her what an intelligent beautiful woman she really is. Awesome start to this new series. Looking forward to meeting Wilder’s friends finding love and happiness. I received an arc copy of this book.

Hottest novella I've read this year. I absolutely loved Wilder and Ari together. The way they meet was so funny and the fact that Ari helps soothe Wilder's demons is so endearing. The man accidently found his woman while running away from his past. Sparks fly from the moment he catches her struggling with her tent. I loved every second of it. Their story is HOT and so good. You won't want to stop reading it until the very end. I can't wait for the ret of the guys' stories. There are a few questions left unanswered about the guys, and I hope we get them in the next book.

I really enjoyed this story by Cameron Hart. I loved every second of it. Wilder bought an old mining town hoping to create a place for him and his military brothers. He needs a place where he can be alone and found it. He never expected Ari though. She is going to various haunted places around the country and writing about them. She had heard rumors about this old mining town. She isn't an experienced camper though and ends up injured. Wilder finds her and saves ehr. He takes her back to his place. While she recovers, they grow closer. Will they find a way to be with each other forever?

Omg I adored this book. I love a good mountain man theme any time of day but this one was one of my favs. I love how they meet, it had me laugh cringing, if that's even a thing, it was adorable and crazy all at the same time! I really liked how their relationship progressed, not too fast but also not drawn out, so it the perfect kind of romance for me. I really liked how it sets up the rest of the series too, especially with the ending. The author smashed this book and I cannot wait for her next one!.

Wilder is a former Army Ranger who lives in the Smokey Mountains alone. Ari is a paranormal investigator who gets injured while on the job. I loved the way the author brought Wilder and Ari together and how quickly things heated up between them. From the grumpy-sunshine instalove storyline and well developed characters to the steam and perfect ending this is a great start to the Love on the Mountain series. I loved this book and I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

As her tent goes tumbling down the side of the mountain she is rescued by Wilder whose land she is trespassing on. He takes her back to his cabin and takes care of her injuries. They have an instant connection and find themselves sharing their pasts and falling deeper in love. Sweet, steamy story with amazing chemistry, love, vulnerability, a caring, protective hero and a wonderful HEA.
