Shifters Sanctuary #1

His Alpha Unlocked

It's knot funny, it's fate.Former foster kid Beckett (Beck) Smith is 31 and has never had any reason to think that he’s anything other than human. But meeting Oliver (Ollie) Grayson in a club stirs something primal inside him, creating a desire that can’t be ignored. Learning that Ollie is an omega wolf shifter isn’t a deterrent, not when he can’t keep his hands off the young, vibrant, sexy man. And it’s all going great…until his body changes at the most unexpected and awkward moment. (It's really not funny, fate!)Suddenly, Beck discovers that he’s not as human as he believed. Furthermore, it turns out he’s an alpha in a world where alphas are thought to be extinct. Then there’s also the fact that he’s somehow mystically bonded to Ollie. It’s a lot to process. Don’t get him Ollie’s a great guy. He’s gorgeous and smart, and his obsession with all things Christmas is stupidly endearing, but Beck hadn’t exactly planned to commit to the guy for life. However, when Ollie’s pack threatens them, Beck will do anything to keep his mate safe…even if it means putting his own life on the His Alpha Unlocked is a sweet, instant attraction (fated mates) romance. It IS an mpreg, and it does contain violence, threats, kidnapping, anxiety, controlling families, and some mild angst. This book contains elements suited to readers over the age of 18.Christmas Omegas is a multi-author series. Each story is a standalone and features a fun Holiday Season Parade! Whether it's a paranormal pairing or a human pairing, you can expect these omegas to find love during the holidays.

Book safety, content warnings, and tropes down below.

“Seriously, does that toyboy of yours let you sleep?” “Let’s get one thing straight,” I told her haughtily over my shoulder, “I am the toyboy in our relationship, being the youngest and prettiest and all.”

This omegaverse book was refreshingly original, and I’m glad I snagged an ARC. I’ve read quite a bit of omegaverse the last couple of years, but this is the first time I’ve read one where the alpha is rare. In this world, alphas have been extinct for a looot of years, and I loved that aspect of the story. It added something different you don’t see a lot.

I also really enjoyed how the MCs chemistry really showed on page. That part of these types of books is so important to get right if the instant connection is gonna be believable. These guys are really put through a lot personally and as a couple, and I’m glad it wasn’t treated like their lives hadn’t just exploded. Playing off all of that personal upheaval like no problem at all wouldn’t have worked, but it still wasn’t really angsty. They communicated well and decided to make it work.

This is also the most mpreggy mpreg book I’ve read, I think. A lot of the pregnancy (as well as the birth) is on page, so it isn’t treated as an afterthought in the epilogue. It was a large part of the plot, and so sweet and cute at times. The couple gets their HEA, but the author has set it up for a future series, so there’s a bit of a series cliffhanger.

Extra note: it’s been cool to see the author write better and better sex scenes with each book.

“But if you change your mind, just tell me, okay? I need my mate in fighting shape.” Ollie snorted again. “Fighting, huh? Is that what we’re calling it?” My cheeks burned. “Around my sister it is.”

“Jesus, Beck, what did you do to him?” Sandy joked. I was not expecting Beck to respond honestly. “I knocked him up.” Silence fell. “Say what now?”

“Fucking fuck.”
“You’re doing well, Ollie. You can do this.”
“Oh, shut the fuck up.”

I imagine this is an accurate representation of giving birth, lol.

Finally! I hope this trend of birthing continues. This end of Alphas yet Betas can impregnated humans. Woah, now that's different.

Mpreg automatically gets bumped up half a star.

Look, I don't make the rules.

Is this a cheesy, cliche, saccharine mess? Yes, but it did it for me, and that's what I needed. 💅🏾

Okay, normally I'm KNOT one for shifter romances...get it? Also I'm iffy on surprise pregnancy tropes, but this was just a fun time and I read it in two sittings. I adored every bit of this, and the world building was believable and interesting. Alphas going extinct, mated pair, fated mates, surprise pregnancy, surprise male alpha, action adventure, this has it all! Ollie and Beck were an adorable couple and the happy ending was everything. My one issue is that I'd like a scene where they'd confront Ollie's pack at the end, but otherwise this was a blast to read. 4.5 ⭐ rounded up!

This was a nice and refreshing omegaverse read. I am so glad Anna Sparrows is really getting into this world with her writing.

Ollie and Beck were wonderful together. Being fated, but not even knowing that Beck is an alpha made this even more delightful. They had fantastic chemistry all the way through.

There was some drama/angst with Ollie’s pack, but nothing too heart-rending. The mpreg was done so well, with a lot of it being on page. I loved this aspect of the book. Overall, this was a great little.

This was sweet with action and relationship building. I love how even though they were "fated", they still wanted to get to know one another as if the bond hadn't already taken. The side characters were cool, and I'd love a story with the doctor, and his brothers' stories too.

This was surprisingly nice.

In many omegaverse/mpreg stories, the characters have this kind of blase attitude towards the scenarios they find themselves in (aka bad writing) that annoys me to no end. Like “guess I am pregnant, time for pregnant sex scene”. This was not the case here, it was refreshing to see the characters acting annoyed, confused, and worried about the situations they found themselves in.

The whole “alphas are extinct” plot was also unique, and a very interesting take on the very tired trope of omegaverse.

There is also nice amount of great one-liners and little dialogue gems that made me chuckle. Guess this author writes dialogue really well.

4.5 ⭐️

I loved this book. Beck finding out he wasn’t human at the beginning and discovering a whole new world was amazing. The connection between Beck and Ollie was lovely. So excited for the next one. Loving the mpreg books at the moment. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars is I wanted to see more of the babies at the end and I wish it had a bit more spice.

Can I start by saying that this review has been months in the making? Someone. Not naming names *Coughs* Anna sent me the first bit of the book as an Alpha draft. Had me sat on a ledge kicking my feet desperately waiting to be able to finish. I had never read an Omegaverse before this and this is quite literally the perfect entrance to it. If you have never read an Omegaverse and you start with this one and you *don’t* get hooked to the genre…well damn. You are stronger than me.

*Me. With a smile on my face as I read through my notes to refresh my memory for this review*

Beck and Ollie are so sweet together and this is definitely a book I will be recommending in the future. So, if you haven’t yet. Here is your sign.

This is a full ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for me!

I don't know where to start, to be honest. I loved this book so much. I am very much a fan of omegaverse in general, but an A/B/O book needs to have a certain je ne sais quoi in order for me to rate it with 5⭐ ; this book had all the right ingredients, and it was cooked (? have I taken the metaphor too far?) to perfection. Anna can write, y'all. And honestly, this book is all the more impressive for being her first of the subgenre. I'm looking forward to seeing more omegaverse from Anna.

Some Details:
Pairing: MM, Beck (Beckett) & Ollie (Oliver)
POV: 1st Person, Dual 🗣️🗣️
Tense: Past
Angst: 2.25/5 😟😟
Spice Frequency: 3/5 🔥🔥🔥
Spice Level: 3.25/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️

When the book begins, Ollie and Beck meet in a club. Their connection is electric (and that might be an almost literal statement, since they can feel a charged current when they touch). Ollie had known he was a wolf shifter omega for his whole life, but Beck? Beck didn't know that shifters still existed, which means he also thought he was fully human. As it turns out, he's now the only known alpha, and he's got the (surprise) knot to prove it! Once they finally give into their urges, biology and instinct take over, and they find themselves in a situation that changes their lives (and maybe the lives of all shifters) irrevocably.

This book is a fast burn with instant attraction and really satisfying steamy scenes. It gripped me right from the beginning, and it was one of those books where I really believed the connection between the characters. And, goodness, both characters are so lovable. Do I agree with every decision they make and reaction they have? No. But are the decisions understandable? Absolutely. Since the book was written like the characters' reactions are naturally human (I guess I'm using the term "human" loosely, lol) instead of conspicuous plot devices, I was able to stay absorbed in the story, and that made the whole reading experience all the more enjoyable.

More Random Thoughts:
- This book has a really cool concept and discussion of shifter evolution.
- God, I love a possessive/jealous MC.
- Brandi is an amazing friend and wing person. I love when books have likable female side characters. I like Sandy, too! So this book is really winning in the female-side-character category.
- This is a good introduction to omegaverse for those who haven't read it yet because it involves needing to explain shifters and A/B/O concepts to Beck. It doesn't feel like an overly obvious explanation; it's incorporated into the story seamlessly.
- Top-notch worldbuilding
- Yes. Rimming with slick. Hell yes. Slurp it all up.
- The humor in this book is on point! I mean I guess it's subjective if you'll vibe with an author's sense of humor, but I totally vibed with this!

I received an ARC from Booksprout; this is my honest opinion of the book.

His Alpha Unlocked is a standalone MM omegaverse romance by Anna Sparrows, and although it is standalone, it is also the first book in a new series. This is set in a world where shifters are known by humans, and where alphas (and therefore alpha-omega bonds and pregnancies, haven't been heard of in centuries).

Ollie is a wolf shifter and an omega. He's lying low from his pack, who want him back with them to become nothing more than an indentured slave. But he loves his life in New York, and his work for another omega who is a doctor that researches the omega phenomenon. Then Ollie meets a random human in a club, Beck.

Beckett was raised in foster care and new knew that he was anything other than human. He really has nothing other than his good friend and his foster sister, both mean the world to him. Meeting Ollie was a shock and after the first night can't stop thinking about the cute man. Then they meet again and the sparks that were flying at their first meeting ignite.

The rest is a roller coaster ride of discovery as Beck finds out that he's not as human as he thought he was. He finds out his foster sister is a shifter, likewise he also finds out his best friend is one as well. On top of that, Beck and Ollie find out that they are the first known alpha-omega bonding in centuries - and there's a number of pieces of undeniable proof of just that. There's also danger from Ollie's pack to deal with, and with that we get to know more about Ollie's enigmatic boss.

So many interesting small characters have popped up through out the story, so I'm hoping that we will meet some of them again further along in the series.

I am really interested in the whole premise of the shifter town that will be a sanctuary, especially to omegas and the new alphas that are going to start popping up. And then when I read the preview for the next book I was certain that I need to read more. I can't wait to see what is in store and to find out more background of the alphas that had supposedly disappeared centuries ago.

This is definitely one of those books where you should know what you like beforehand.

You don’t like the surprise pregnancy trope? Don’t read this book.
Not a fan of omegaverse and all it entails (mpreg, knotting, mating, biting)? This is not for you.
You have a hard time with books about characters being pressured and guilted by their families? Being hunted by people they once considered their pack? Maybe pass on this one.
You’re over characters discovering their secret designation? Fine, move along.

Lucky for me, I enjoy all of these things, and having them all together in one book worked out great. And adding the fact that it was the alpha who didn’t know he was an alpha (or even a shifter) was the cherry on top. I feel like that’s a popular trope as well, but it’s often the omegas who don’t know what they are (at least that’s my experience), so this was refreshing for me, and I really enjoyed it. Another thing I really liked was that there wasn’t just one kind of shifter; it just makes things more interesting. And it may or may not make me excited for a certain reptilian shifter in the future.
But that is then and this is now. Ollie and Beck were so sweet together. They were pushed from one overwhelming and surprising situation to the next and they handled it all so well. They sticked together through all the changes (surprise, you're an alpha, surprise, we are bonded, surprise, I am pregnant, surprise, it's twins, etc.) and through multiple kidnapping attempts, all while barely knowing one another. But they learned to trust and lean on each other fast. I just really liked how their relationship progresses.

What else is there to say?
Found family (or rather found pack) vibes? Check
Sassy Omega with a heart of gold? Check
Protective Alpha who would do anything for his mate? Check
Interesting side characters that make me excited for the upcoming series? Also check

I received an ARC for this book and this is my honest opinion.

“His Alpha Unlocked” by Anna Sparrows is refreshing. I’ve read a moderate amount of books with shifters and mpreg and I enjoyed how real this book is. There are a lot of surprises and a lot of change for the characters and it’s not all sugar coated and smooth sailing.

Ollie and Beck are adorable together. There is a fun sense of discovery as they learn about each other and try to figure out their new reality. I like how it’s not all perfect, there is tension, and this make their relationship and the world feel more real. It isn’t a mythical world where the laws of nature we are used to don’t work. Shifters exist, they have some extra abilities and can change shape, but at the same time there really isn’t anything extra magical about them as a whole. Male omegas can get pregnant in this world, but it’s biological. Alphas have been thought to be extinct in this world so a part of this book is the characters trying to relearn or discover the things forgotten, like the physiology behind pregnant omegas. It’s science, not magic. It’s the same with anything like injuries. Shifting shape will not magically heal an injury and shifters can still get sick from some things and aren’t magically immune to everything.

There is a time jump where their relationship is a bit glossed over but it’s also nice not to have random and unimportant filler added. There are no major info dumps that set up this new world, and information is revealed as needed (for the most part.) There are a few things that are in the so good it rings false category, but at the same time it’s tempered by how much “real” is still in this book. It reads almost like a contemporary book that just so happens to have shifters, secondary genders and mpreg.

I can’t wait to read more books in this series and I hope the author continues to write omegaverse.

Ollie and Beck have a very shocking and eventful journey ahead of them.
This is a world where it is known shifters exist, but they tend to keep themselves hidden as humans have had serious issues in the past, Alpha's are believed to be extinct, and because of this, omega's are often thought to be useless.
From the moment they met, Ollie and Beck had a shocking need to be with one another, but Ollie first wants to admit to a human Beck, that he is an omega wolf. Beck has no issues with that, until he finds himself reacting and changing in unexpected ways - he is not human, but a latent Alpha.
This is the first of many surprises for the two men - some will be good and others definitely not. They stick together and grow their bond, having great friends and allies to help them through the ordeals to come. Being mated leads them to a deeper connection, a genuine love, and more.
Their HEA is a bit overshadowed by Ollie's cult-like family and pack continuing to be a potential threat - as well as other factions, including humans, which leaves their story feeling unfinished. It does, however, leave things open for the story to continue in future books, and with new MC's.
Some of the great things about this book are the various supportive friends and the new sanctuary they are building together. The downside is that parts of it seemed to drag.

I loved this mpreg story, by the wonderful author Anna Sparrows. The main characters are Beckett (Beck), who thinks he is human, and doesn't know he is a rare alpha shifter, and
Oliver (Ollie), an omega wolf shifter, who thinks there are no alphas left in the world, and therefore he will never become pregnant. They are both thrown by encounters and events, leading to sudden dramatic shifts in who and what they think they are. This is a well written, descriptive, character and plot driven story. From the first pages, the story quickly unfolded, immediately pulling me right into Ollie and Beck's thrilling, adventurous, emotional and romantic story. There is angst, mainly because of the cult-like controlling attitude and actions of Ollie's family.
Some of the additional elements I loved:
-First person dual POV.
-Fated mates who after mated bonding, share a mental/emotional connection.
-Found family of supportive friends.
-Different shifter species.
-Possessive and protective mate.
-Steamy sexy times.
-Sweet romantic moments.
-Pregnancy being a significant part of the story.
-Natural childbirth.
-Chest feeding.
-Lengthy epilogues and a sneak peek at the next book.

This ingeniously crafted, remarkable omegaverse world, kept me riveted, and I'm looking forward
to the next book, in what I hope will be a long series!
Highly recommended!

This year, Anna Sparrows has become an absolute favorite author of mine (starting with "Josh's Jackpot" and "Where There's A Will") and I have been absolutely devouring her catalog on KU for the last few months, so when this popped up as an ARC, I was immediately on board. I love that this is her first foray into the Omegaverse/Mpreg genre, and I was so excited to see how well she did. And she did well! I LOVE how she brought the shifter world and the differences between shifters and humans to the forefront of the story, and how well and thoroughly she explained the biology and impulses of these characters. So many authors utterly neglect these aspects and just hope the audience is familiar enough with the terms/ideas or is just fine with glossing over the "How" and "Why" of these stories, but Anna has done a spectacular job of creating and populating her shifter world, and I am absolutely here for it. I cannot wait for the next book!

Also, the relationship was lovely, as always, and the story is well-written, detailed, engaging, and well-rounded with a great cast of supporting characters and motivations. I loved it.

Ollie went to a bar with his bestie Brandi after working in the lab which his mother was upset about was supposed to go home after college to work in the fields. Beck went to the same bar with his friends and felt the pull to Ollie but didn’t understand why they danced and talked but then split went home separately. Two weeks later both felt like they were missing something Beck and his bestie Sandy were sitting on a park bench when he felt Ollie and friend walking through, walked up to them and Brandie took his phone and put in Ollie’s number and said that Ollie would go on a date. When they went to bed felt and did things he never had before and found out he wasn’t want he was before and roommates were different to. Ollie got sick so his boss and doctor who he worked for did a test and found he was pregnant that meant Beck was an alpha both things were unheard of for centuries. Ollie’s mother causing major problems with hiring mercenaries to try and kidnap Ollie and then Beck but his boss and brothers save the day. The town they moved to loved them and more kept asking for sanctuary. Good book! Will get more of this author’s books!.

Really great!

I really loved this take on shifters and omegaverse world building. It’s pretty low angst, considering how everything goes down, but that doesn’t mean skipping over harder emotions or being a fluffy, superficial Indra-love story. There are freak outs and stress from both characters at different points and over different moments and stressors that arise, but the characters choose to work together and communicate (novel concept, I know) and try to be understanding when their partner is struggling with something, even when they’re struggling, too, and it made for a really authentic feeling story that still managed to be mostly upbeat and positive, overall. I’m trying to stick with mostly lighthearted reads right now as I’m struggling a bit with “winter blues” and this was perfect! Enough drama, feels, and suspense to be interesting, but lots of positivity and hope interspersed to lighten the mood, no pointless angst or ridiculous miscommunications for the sake of word counts and drama (like I said earlier, the characters may freak out sometimes but they continually work on the relationship together and use their WORDS when needed). I really freaking loved this story and can’t wait to read more in the series!

Ollie and Beck’s Surprise Mating . . .

Apparently Omegas no longer reproduce since Alphas have become extinct. But when Beckett Smith (“Beck”), who believes himself a human, and Oliver Grayson (“Ollie”), an Omega wolf shifter, meet each other in a club, there is no doubt about their attraction for each other. When the two are together, Beck, to his own surprise, unexpectedly transitions into an Alpha wolf shifter and knots Ollie! This situation is going to be a big shock to the shifter world in general! Ollie’s pack does get into the middle of things because the existence of an Alpha is quite an amazing occurrence. Will Ollie and Beck get to stay together as fated mates? Will others want to get in on this impossible situation and cause even more trouble? Or will Beck’s instincts kick in to protect his mate at all costs, even if he has to risk his life doing so?

Once again, those little differences in an author’s interpretation of things give us a whole new look at what we thought we knew. It’s fun to see this new aspect and find out how the author will use it to make the story spectacular and generate renewed interest!

“I wasn’t looking for anything until I met you.”

I absolutely loved this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. The Alpha/Beta/Omega dynamics are a little different here as there are [supposedly] no more alphas, omegas aren't used for breeding anymore since they can't have children with betas and are considered second class and used for manual labor. To humans shifters are pretty much a myth. I loved both Ollie and Beck. I really liked that while Ollie knew he was an omega, Beck assumed he was human and thought shifters were now only myths. The chemistry between them was electric and scorching. I loved the supporting characters- especially Brandi, Sandy, and Eric. They were just awesome! The story was fast-paced, exciting, and suspenseful. I loved Beck's character growth the most over the course of the story. He he gradually came to terms with what he was, what it meant, his abilities, and his priorities. A fantastic story. I'm so happy this series will continue. I can't wait to read His Prodigal Alpha! 5 stars.

I thought this was just a fluffy Christmas story, and was pleasantly surprised. Shifter scientist Ollie and human graphics artist Beck meet at a club and later hook up. In the middle of fun times, much to the surprise of both men, Beck pops a knot and soon realizes he's not human after all. Dundun!

Great worldbuilding: Present time America. Humans know about shifters. Shifters have not had alphas for a couple hundred years. Only betas can procreate, and some (like Ollie's cultish, backwards pack) think omegas are superfluous and can only be used as workers.

Note to self - there will be more books in this universe:

Thank you so much for reading His Alpha Unlocked. This was my first foray into writing an original Omegaverse story and I am so excited to keep the Shifters Sanctuary series going from here.

Speaking of my writing, if you want a glimpse into Book Two of the Shifters Sanctuary world, titled His Prodigal Alpha, keep turning the pages because Chapter One is waiting for you.

His Alpha Unlocked is the second I've read in the Christmas Omegas series, a multi author, multi omegaverse series. In this world omegas are sterile as the last alphas died out several centuries ago. When Ollie meets Beck there's instant attraction, instant lust. But it goes nowhere and both forget to get last names, let alone phone numbers.
Fate cannot be denied and they meet again, leading to a date and a sexy claiming. Ollie becomes pregnant. Beck who was raised in the human world is surprised that shifters do exist. And he's shocked to find he's an alpha.
There's drama with Ollie's former pack. A bit of angst along the 'it's too early to say I love him... but I do' line. Excellent worldbuilding. Great secondaries. I'm hoping that Anna Sparrow's 2024 writing schedule includes more stories in this omegaverse. I look forward to that.
I received an advance copy of this book, this is my honest review.

Former foster kid Beckett (Beck) Smith is 31 and has never had any reason to think that he’s anything other than human. But meeting omega wolf shifter Oliver (Ollie) Grayson in a club stirs something primal inside him, where he can’t keep his hands off the young, vibrant, sexy man. Then his body changes at the most unexpected and awkward moment. Suddenly, Beck discovers that he’s not as human as he believed but is an alpha in a world where alphas are thought to be extinct plus he is bonded to Ollie. When Ollie’s pack threatens them, Beck will do anything to keep his mate safe…even if it means putting his life on the line.

This was an interesting twist on the alpha/omega storyline with the hidden alpha. I loved the people who helped protect them; the evilness of Ollie's pack and family was shocking. The relationship between the two men was easy but also passionate. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with mpreg.

What can I say? Not only does Anna do Daddies/ Littles superbly but she seems to have a handle on Alpha/ Omega/ Mpreg books, too. Ollie, an Omega wolf shifter meets a human Beck he is crazy about. In the act, Beck transitions into an Alpha wolf shifter, even though there have been no Alpha shifters for years, and knots him. Running from enemies, Beck finding other friends are shifters, becoming fated mates, it's all in here. It's an action packed book with steamy love scenes, humor and the promise of future books in a series. Ollie is full of sass and a lot of hormones. Beck is truly special, mature and intelligent enough to believe his own eyes, accepting of situations. I enjoy all of Anna's books and this is no exception. Can you tell, I really love Beck?! I received a copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.

Good intro in this omegaverse

I really enjoyed reading this book. The MC’s were lovable and easy to connect with, and although their story was far from real, their reactions as the plot progressed and character growth were realistic. There are quite a few side characters, but they’re introduced at a pace that doesn’t feel overwhelming and the reader can actually familiarize themselves with each one.

The world building in this story is also set at a good pace where we learn about shifters and their history. I wish we learned more about Oliver’s pack though. We got minor glimpses here and there, but never anything that dug deeper into their dynamic or who they are aside from his mom and a couple villains (unless this is being saved for later books).

Overall, this book makes me want to continue reading this series to see how the overarching plot develops.

4/5 This was an unusual structure for an alpha/beta/omega story, and I definitely found it intriguing. The way omegas are treated by shifter society at large is upsetting, but the story itself is all about misfits and valuing people as they are. The idea of re-finding alphas and what that could mean for society and omegas is definitely an intriguing one. I liked Beck and Ollie a lot, and I appreciated how Beck stepped up to his responsibilities even if it was nothing like he’d expected in his life. I enjoyed the connection between Beck and Ollie, the serendipity of their second meeting, and the way they just figured everything out together (with the help of some decent friends). Ollie’s old pack was awful, and I hope he never has to deal with them again. I loved Ollie’s love of Christmas and how he’s able to make it special for Beck too.

Looking forward to the next book!

This was an interesting spin on shifters and alpha/omega tropes. Beck and Oliver were sweet together. They communicated and had reasonable fears about their future together. Because man oh man did they have a lot to deal with. I liked how they respected, supported, and comforted each other. My only complains about this book is that some scenes and inner thoughts were way to long and repetitive. I admittedly skimmed some of those parts. Also I was left with questions by the end. Why didn't someone call the police at the clinic? Why did Oliver's pack want him back so badly? What obligations is he expected to fill? Why didn't they press charges against Oliver's old pack for kidnapping and false imprisonment?

Great Story to read. Start of a great seriesBeckett is a human raised in foster care. Oliver is a wolf shifter omega. Oliver is a research assistant. Oliver works with shifters, researching the past and why Alphas are no more. When Beckett and Oliver see each other across the room, they are drawn to each other. After they talk and go their separate ways, they both still feel the want for the other. Beck takes Oliver to dinner and then they go back to Oliver's place to relax. Oliver explains that he is an omega wolf. Beckett turns out to be an Alpha. Will Beckett accept the change happening to him or will he run away???? What happens when Oliver finds out he is prejgnent??????.

This book is part of a multi author standalone series and it’s the second book I’ve read by this author and it was another good enjoyable read, Beck and Oliver had instant chemistry but Beck had always thought of himself as fully human so it came as a shock for him to realise he was an alpha and had met his fated mate in Oliver, they take things slow but a twist in the story makes Beck realise he would do anything to protect Oliver, this is part of a multi author standalone series but it is also book one in a new series by this author and I can’t wait to read the next story in this series as there was some great side characters that I’d love to see meeting their fated mates.
