Holy Hannah!!! I’m not sure what I just read but I enjoyed every page of it!!! Not really sure what that says about me & I don’t care
I knew as soon as Cerise threw her phone out the car window she was in trouble….has this girl never watched a scary movie??? We Don’t Do That….things definitely went downhill for her quick after that….she made some horrible life decisions & they followed her all the way to the Pert/Pet Motel….the r in the sign was not lit…strange coincidence??? I think not
At the Pet Motel she meets Andy….he seems harmless enough but aren’t they always the crazy ones….things spiral from there & make her question every life choice she’s made when it comes to love….needless to say things aren’t always as they seem & the life Cerise once lived/knew is completely different now
Give this short novella a read….I finished it in a little over an hour…did it make me question my sanity??? Maybe a little….Or did I learn a few life lessons??? Maybe a lot….I would definitely not do most of the things she did after her call from Jen but she was just trying to make life more interesting….she definitely got that

What in the name of all things fcked up did I just read?!?!?! More importantly, what is wrong with me?! The way that I enjoyed this book is clearly an indication of some untreated mental illness. My reactions to this were all sorts of wrong. I was mad when the normal response would be cheering the FMC on, I was sad when I probably should have been happy because screw that character, the only part I probably got right was the fact that I was aroused when this is literally EROTIC horror. That being said, read the trigger warnings. There is an entire page of them for the 8 chapters. I've read dark books and I've read erotic horror books, but I have NEVER read a book like this before! And I won't even get started on that ending.....

Did I stay until the end? Yes.
Was I riveted? Yes. Horrified? Also, yes.

The authors did well with their writing and story telling. It kept me on edge for sure…so I’m rating for that rather than what I did/didn’t like.

Well in this case, it turns out a whoooooole lot of wrongs do in fact make some kind of right?! Even through the shock and disgust, I lapped up every page like Cherry laps up her cream pies. I’ve not wanted to be more of a good girl than I did whilst reading this. And that ending; I’m still not over it. I NEED MORE!
To say this is only 70+ pages, it is a force to be reckoned with. Not only is it packed full of horror, gore and spice, it’s fully captivating and pushes boundaries you never thought you’d get near. I felt I’d read a full novel from the sheer volume of WTF moments alone.
Cherry (FMC) leaves her former life behind when her past decisions catch up with her. On her journey, she comes across Andy (MMC) at Pet Motel and let’s just say, the new life she was looking for is about to become a mere distant memory.

When two of your favorites team up and they are both know for some of the spiciest things you’ve ever read you know it’s gonna be good. Especially when one of those authors is in my opinion the queen of GORN.
Let me just say I have read this through completely twice now, but I originally read it chapter by chapter on Ream. And it was one of those situations where during and after each chapter I stared at a wall contemplating my existence and also by sanity. And I let Kitty know alllllll about it.

This book pushed every dark, twisted button—like crawling on all fours, being called pet, and being pleased in ways that toe the line between pleasure and pain. 😳 Andy, the motel’s “host,” makes Cerise beg, worship, and crave his attention like a good girl. Each pant of breath, each whimper… he’s in control, and she’s desperate for more.
It’s the kind of read that leaves you wondering: Do I need therapy or a cold shower? Honestly, both. 🔥

This book pushed every dark, twisted button—like crawling on all fours, being called pet, and being pleased in ways that toe the line between pleasure and pain. 😳 Andy, the motel’s “host,” makes Cerise beg, worship, and crave his attention like a good girl. Each pant of breath, each whimper… he’s in control, and she’s desperate for more.

Not prepared. Nope not even close to prepared. Even as a season dark reader and having read previous works by both authors, I was not prepared. That being said, I loved every gruesome, shocking, horrendous moment.
Pet Motel by Kitty King & MA Cobb is a pitch black, erotic horror novella that packs a 2 x 4 smack to the face in 87 pages. So much plot, action, kinky craziness and true horror are in this story.
Cherry could never predict that one bad decision, pulling off the road and into the Pert Motel and meeting our charismatic night clerk Andy, would throw her life into literal life changing mayhem.

Pet Motel took me to places I didn’t even know I wanted to go - like forced breeding and a 42-man gang bang (yes, you read that right). Kitty King knows exactly how to push every dark, twisted button, and I didn’t know if I should be horrified or, well… turned on. It's both ... definitely both.
It only took me 45 minutes to read because once I started, I was a hungry hamster for it—I couldn’t look away. Cherry runs from her old life straight into Andy’s nightmare world of cages, shock collar. Things escalate fast—like, disturbingly fast. It’s gory, filthy, and I don’t know what’s worse: the horror or how hot it all is. I’m ashamed of how much I enjoyed it, but I can’t lie.

First I’m gonna start off by saying if you’re not into erotic horror then DO NOT READ THIS BOOK!! Now for the rest of you … what in the holy shitballs was that?!?! Ok I knew Kitty had a dark streak in her, we all saw it in some of her other books but DAMN. My girl, along with M.A. Cobb, kicked it into high fucking gear with this and created a totally unhinged hot as fuck erotic horror that I absolutely DEVOURED!!
Did this book make me question my own sanity? 100% YES. Did it make me question my morals? Yes, yes it did. Am I still sitting here questioning myself and everything about this book? Fuck yes I am. This book was a whole lot of fucked up but it was oh so right. If you think you can’t pack a great story with unimaginable shit and a ton of spice into only 74 pages you’d be dead wrong my friends.
I highly recommend reading the TW/CW before diving into this one … unless you’re like me and the longer the list the better 😉 I will say this, don’t expect a HEA, and prepare for an ending that’s gonna leave you mouth agape asking WTF!!!

A pitch black erotic horror novella that will have you buying pliers and a leash.
I read a lot of body horror and erotic horror and I felt like I was going to spew multiple times. I actually stopped reading this to switch to a book about cannibalism because I needed to 'lighten the mood'. I say this in the absolute best way. Kitty King and MA Cobb is an amazing job pushing my boundaries in ways I would have never even thought possible.
Typically my erotic horror is from the POV of the villain or the person with agency. This one flipped my expectations in the best way. We're following 'Cherry' as she runs away from her cookiecutter life after making some ethically dubious decisions.
Unfortunately for Cherry, she runs into Andy, who's life is full of way less ethical decisions as we find out about after he kidnaps and locks Cherry in a dog cage. Things only get worse from there.
This book is dark and filled with gore and torture, but at the same time it's also upsettingly hot. There is probably a doctoral thesis that needs to be written about the intricacies about why I responded to this book the way that I did.

This was definitely an extremely dark erotic horror novella with one hell of an ending. I knew that it would end like that, but it still shocked a little leading up to it. Did I scream noooo – hell yes, I did!!
Right from the very beginning I was pulled into one hell of a mind-bending rollercoaster ride that kept me on the edge of my seat, gasping in shock and squirming from the insane depravity on the pages. Was I turned on – definitely yes – and now I need to go contemplate what the hell is wrong with me!!!

Pet Motel is a short and anything but sweet compilation of Kitty King & M.A. Cobb. Individually these authors are fantastic, together, I'm pretty sure they just surprised (and disgusted) the hell out of everyone. Their ability to take normally vile characters and transform your opinion of them throughout a story is genius, and the descriptive and creative gore and horror is borderline concerning, yet commendable.
Pet Motel is next level splattersmut. By the end of it, you'll be wondering wtf you just read, but also looking up where you can find the next book. I think the fact that so much of it could very well happen to anyone in real life adds another layer of mindf*ck on top of it all. I know I sure as hell won't be looking to start a new life and making my way to and old Motel anytime soon.
This is 78 pages of pushing your limits so please check your triggers before you dive in.

Pet Motel is an er0tic horror novella from the talented brains of Kitty King and M.A. Cobb. If you are inexperienced with either of these authors, proceed with caution but also be prepared to be impressed and need to make room for their other works on your TBR.
Buckle up because Cerise and Andy are two main characters you are going to want to shake, slap, and scream at, sometimes all three at once, on this wild ride.
Cerise is a hot mess express and somehow manages to spiral her life further out during her attempt to escape the chaos she left behind.
I will never highlight another "good girl" without cringing as I do so because of Andy. Just when you think he might redeem himself.....you turn the page.
The last thing I expected was to want more when it was over, but DAMN IT.

This book was something else. Like all things kitty writes I loved it. It was very different from her normal stuff. It’s horror erotica at its finest. Andy is a super freak. I didn’t expect that ending at all. Lesson: don’t have an affair and then take off and continue to make bad choices…like stay at a shoddy motel. 😂 I grimaced a few times cringed several times and honestly maybe I have a dark sense of humor…I laughed several times at just how ludicrous things that happened to cherry were. She got dealt a shit hand or should I say paw. The MC is not redeeming, he’s like Ted Bundy…right when you think he may not be toooo bad he gets worse. I’m like most and would love to see more of this story.

One thing about both Kitty King and MA Cobb is that you’ll always feel safe with their ability for fantastic storytelling, but with Pet Motel that’s your only safety blanket here.
Previously, I’ve compared some books to movies and thought of some good ones for PM. Take 80% Death Proof + 15% The Strangers + 5% Human Centipede, and you have Pet Motel. Reading this story is like watching a Quentin Tarantino short. I could hear some of the same music from his movies while Cerise was in her car making her way out of town.
I’ve read King and Cobb separately, and they bring you spice and captivation. Together, even for a novella, they’re a force full of imagination and punch.
In my life only a few books have pulled a hard and physical reaction out of me. Maybe 4, for example (I’ll list these out in my Bookstagram review), I cried. Perhaps not all are equal or have the same types of cries, but they made me cry nonetheless.
Pet Motel made me gag. And not in that 😉 way. 😆 What’s crazy is that it was described so well that even as I write now… I’m having a moment.

This novella is about a woman who's running away from the mess that is currently her life only to find herself trapped in a motel where she's treated as a pet who is used for breeding purposes only. And when I say pet, I mean literally a dog.
This story will possibly have you feeling disgusted with the MMC and feeling pity for the FMC. And that ending will most definitely have you screaming at your reading device.
The story was very well written. There's never a dull moment, and you'll be constantly wondering what's going to happen next. So, if erotic horror is your cup of tea, definitely take a look at this one.
