Seduced by My Doms

Rate this book
You find what you’re looking for... where you least expect it.

That held true for me ER nurse, Liz Johansson; the night a young man named Trevor arrived at the hospital and turned my life upside down. Perhaps it was divine intervention that my care for Trevor led me to his friends…

Sinfully hot, James Bartlett and his equally gorgeous boss, Ian Stone; two men, so tall, dark, and lethal, they conjured fantasies my body ached to fulfill. It was impossible to choose one or the other, and hungering for them equally tore at my moral code. I had to find the will to banish my shame or risk losing them forever.

Powerless over their potent, carnal command—together—they led me down a blissful path of uninhibited passion. Unlocking my forbidden desires, while healing the scars of my past, they opened my soul to something so powerful and alluring I couldn’t turn away. Seduced by their infinite love and dominant touch, they taught me how to surrender my fears…my heart, and learn to live again.

So the author explains how important honesty is in a D/s relationship and her hero conveniently forget he was training with another sub and Dom... MISTAKE #1... Ds is never one way street!

Dom #2 arrived and assault the heroine and the only excuse he has is "I thought you were friend with D because we asked her to bring a friend to play". Allo????? SSC? If he thought she was a sub to play, his first priority was to talk about the limits, not jump the bones of a stranger!!! MISTAKE #2... there is never spontaneous sex in the lifestyle, even more with new parters you do not know!!!

At the end of the day the heroine felt cheap and used but it is all her fault because Dom #1 gave her 3 orgasms. So Dom #1 twisted the situation blaming her to not say out loud she is a submissive (AFTER ONE FREAKING DAY?) instead of just apologize to her that he "forgot" to talk that he was fucking another submissive with another Dom on a very regular basis. So everyone know a satisfied woman means she must accept all the BS, especially from a Dom, right? MISTAKE #3... Doms are not gods nor cavemen. They make mistakes and a successful partnership is full of tries and mistakes. It is never a mistake to apologize, Dom or sub

well, guess i will not read another of her bdsm menage if she is okay to portray her heroine like piece of trash. Both males were in the wrong but it was the heroine,s fault? gezzzzzzz

I am totally pissed off. I need to remember it is only a book written by an author who think that because it is a romance, she is allowed to do whatever she likes.... which is in a sense true but so so sooooo very much disrespectful. Her bio says she is in the lifestyle, so not sure which one because mine do not have assholes Doms who do not respect the basic SSC rules! I do not care if the author says that she is in the lifestyle like forever. For me it is a lack of judgement and a lack of respect to spread the idea that a Dom will play a scene without discussing it prior with the party. A Dom would never ever judge someone before even take the time to understand the person, what is acceptable and what is not. A Dom, in my world, would never force and be judgmental without even taking the time to LISTEN the person and at the end of the day be a BULLY.

Dom #2 never talk with the heroine, but decide to bully the heroine at her work, calling her big slut, decide out of the blue because he NEVER spoke with her before that she is a submissive and she is wetting her panties thinking to be fucked by 2 dudes. The guy shows up at 50% of the story (for a menage? how the heck am I to fall for the character when I know nothing about him, and I truly mean nothing). He acts like a bully, he is crude and judgmental, not respecting the BDSM basics and is a big ass caveman.

Really? and I am to fall for this character? ‪#‎DUH‬

BDSM as you well know is not fiction. It happens in real life and from my perspective, because of the hurt and dangers, it is the responsibilities to the authors to portray the lifestyle and its rules as close as possible. Then if authors believe that cavemen, assholes and portraying Doms as assholes and gods is okay because it is fiction and get paid for that, then maybe my little voice will be heard to a minority to put this author in the distorted fairy tale, the one women thought existed in the past category instead of BDSM... the women with no respect. I am not a feminist but thinking how the women were treated in the past is sexy? are you kidding me?

Because this book is exactly that. The heroes shut down the heroine, made her feel cheap, one assaulted her and the other one lied to her. You NEVER assault in the BDSM lifestyle. rule #1. EVER. and yes, assholes are everywhere in this world but because the lifestyle is so tight ruled, it is very easy to be kicked out the community and even if someone does not need to be part of it, it still remain important for the majority.

So talking about menage now. The 2nd male character appears at 50% of the story, he is a bully, he does not respect the SSC, call the heroine slut when he knows nothing about her, established that she is a submissive and would love to fuck 2 guys at once when they had ZERO CONVERSATION EVER TOGETHER BEFORE!!!!!

Really???

so do I recommend this story? HECK NO!!!!

I think this is the first book that I've actually read by Jenna Jacob, though I've know about her for a while now. Her lively and witty writing style has pleasantly surprised me. And the story is well-written, addictive and hot as hell.

I found the whole story extremely arousing. From the very start, the scenes are convincingly set up to convey the intensity of the message. Liz is a nurse, so the hectic atmosphere of an ER is shown in full force. Then, her character has family issues that tie really well with a patient who triggers delicate memories. That's how she meets the alpha male aka impossibly-hot-I-want-to-keep-you-in-my-bedroom dark hero of the story.

Wow, the chemistry is as hot as the Sahara desert. I loved how she can't avoid crushing hard on him despite a certain misunderstanding, and a big difference in lifestyles. The author's writing style infuses lots of dynamism and carnal responses to every moment.

Another remarkable element of the novel is this group of friends who share the BDSM philosophy. They openly talk about their feelings, lives and relationships, which intrigues and puzzles Liz. She's out of her depth, scared of trusting a man or her instincts. I liked that despite her desires there are some issues to overcome before they both plunge into a vortex of lust.

James is a sweet hottie who coaxes her fears into a spark of adventure. Though she's still hesitant due to moral misgivings, they have long and enlightening conversations about the BDSM lifestyle. That was interesting to read. Then, in the middle of the novel, a new Dom makes a forceful appearance to rattle things up. At first, I didn't much care for his intrusion, but it certainly made for an enticing plot twist.

He's cocky, arrogant, and just what the doctor ordered to push Liz's limits. Anyway, the two Doms dynamics work beautifully. They free Liz in an unorthodox way full of dominant sensuality and overbearing concern. Sometimes, the story becomes a little bit repetitive in Liz's fearful reaction or too much when she begs outside of the bedroom. Beyond that, Seduced by my Doms is a hot tale of guilt, drama, love and freedom through hard measures that includes a cathartic ending with two very dominant men and one woman who gives herself to them body and soul. Entertainment at its fullest.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Just when I think I have read my favorite book in The Doms of Genesis series, Jenna Jacob releases a new one and I have to rethink things. Now my favorite is the fifth book in the series, Seduced By My Doms. From the very first pages, my heart and soul were involved and I don’t think I was even five pages into the book before the tears started flowing. By the time I had finished the book, I was exhausted from the emotional journey and yet so happy that I had gone through it.

Ms. Jacob is quite the master at creating characters that I want to know and be friends with. I have fallen in love with each of the couples that appear in the books including all the secondary couples. Trevor and Daddy Drake are a prime example of this so when Seduced By My Doms begins with Trevor showing up as patient in the ER, I just knew that I was in for a full tissue box read. I wasn’t wrong but what I didn’t expect was to feel as strongly about Liz, James and Ian as I did about Trevor.

Liz was a compelling and intriguing character from the very first introduction. I understood her dilemma in getting involved with two men and her fears about getting hurt. James was just sheer perfection from the very beginning. He had all the qualities a woman could yearn for and the connection between him and Liz was authentic and sizzling. And then there was Ian. Sigh. I’m not sure I can do justice to his dominance and sexiness though his introduction won me over even before I knew anything about him. I loved how the two men treated Liz and how they encouraged her. Each man provided exactly what Liz needed emotionally and I just knew that they would be able to overcome her reservations.

As amazing as the characters and their relationship was, the chemistry between the three was even more mind-blowing. Ms. Jacob is quite skilled at writing sex scenes so incredibly hot and passionate that I find myself burning and yearning for my own ménage. The BDSM is authentic and treated with respect. Liz’s inexperience and questions provided the opportunity for many explanations about an often misunderstood lifestyle. As Liz learns, so does the reader and I truly appreciated how Ms. Jacob explained domination and submission so that we can see the beauty in this type of relationship.

Ms. Jacob’s writing is like a fine wine, just getting better and better over time. The effort she puts into creating these emotional stories and multi-dimensional characters is proportionate to the pleasure I receive from reading. The more I read, the more I am able to appreciate the subtle nuances and details that she adds to every story. The way the story unfolds and the characters interact leaves such a pleasant taste that I just keep coming back for more.

That’s why when Seduced By My Doms first appeared on my e-reader one night I couldn’t resist taking just a small peek at the story. And that’s why instead of just peeking, I ended up staying up till the wee hours reading. No matter how often I found my eyes closing, I couldn’t put this book down. But each and every dark circle was absolutely worth it. And all those tears I cried? I felt cleansed and at peace. Ms. Jacob somehow managed to take me to the lowest of lows and then back up again until I reached a place of calm and happiness where I will stay until the next book in this series comes out. And then that one will probably become my new favorite.

The book starts off with plenty of action and forward motion. In the ER, a young man has been brought in severely beaten. Liz, a nurse, takes the case although it strikes a chord to a man from her past. While working with Trevor, the patient, she meets his partner and many friends including James. James is instantly enamored with Liz and shortly starts to introduce her to his lifestyle.

Liz is a great character. She’s feisty, intelligent, driven, with a side of broken. Her sorrow doesn’t prevent her from being a productive member of society but she has kept herself in a box unable to truly enjoy much since her brother’s passing. I also appreciate the evocation that Liz is a natural submissive even though she’s a strong person.

I love this begins hot and fast and never lets up. A relationship is built with James and Liz before adding Ian. While some may be upset Ian introduced until nearly halfway through, he is always in the background. Plus it feels more organic to solidify the two who met first before throwing in a third. In the last half of the book, we get a better sense of James and Ian as friends and partners. They balance each other out with complimentary traits. While Ian has more experience in BDSM and often presents as top alpha, James brings more geniality when Liz needs it. In the end I could take or leave Ian, but the three of them make for some smoking scenes.

Although a majority of the timeline is compressed into about a week, I value the flow; if anything, it left me wanting more. This book doesn’t slow down from beginning to end. It’s filled with incredible primary and secondary characters. I’ve read Embracing My Submission but haven’t made it back to read books 2-4 in the series yet. Afraid I’d be lost; I was pleased to find it isn’t needed to enjoy this story. I’m sure catching up on those would help with the bigger picture but it didn’t take away from the specifics. Overall this is a burning read you won’t want to put down until it through.

I just need to say, before I start my actual review, DAYUM do I want to visit Club Genesis!!
Book 5 in the Club Genesis series can be read as a stand-alone (the same goes for the each book in the series), but the previous characters do make appearances. Being I have read all of the series, I appreciate the check-ins as I loved each and every character that's been introduced.

Liz is an Emergency Room RN, she is caring and compassionate and dealing with some deep-rooted issue due to losing her brother recently. One fateful night, while at work, she was forced to face her issue as the victim of a awful hate crime is admitted. When she attempts to notify his Next-of-Kin,by calling Club Genesis, she is greeted by the sexiest voice she's ever heard. Even better, she gets to meet that voice in person.

I was instantly drawn into this story - the first half was emotionally charged, it was super sexy, and it was thrilling. The passion ignited between James and Liz was HOT, but even better was her journey to understanding submission.
If the romance between Liz and James wasn't enough - then wait until you get about halfway through the book!!! Ian arrives to this love story and adds some seriously edgy dominance, not to mention another super sexy body. Unfortunately though, that's all he added - another body. He wasn't really developed as a character, besides his super-Alpha-bossiness I learned nothing about him.
The three of them explore Dominance and submission which lead to an exciting, un-put-downable read. The story of this triad was enough to "hook" me, but this book contains more then just that. This was a super-sexy, sinfully sensual, action-packed book.

This was a great addition to the series, you don’t have to read the prior books but it will give you back story and make for a more enjoyable read. Liz is an ER nurse and when a patient comes in badly beaten she is instantly drawn to the patient and doesn’t want to leave his side. Trying to find the patient’s next of kin she ends up on the phone with a sexy voice, James, and that voice does something to her. From that moment on things take off. The patient, who is Trevor from previous books, has won a spot in Liz’s heart for personal reasons which have you crying and reaching for a tissue, and Trevor has his own personal angel now. Liz is swept into a world she has only read about in books and she isn’t sure if she should run or jump all in. Just when Liz thinks she has things figured out with James, in walks Ian…..and man that was some introduction! Besides the decisions to have not one but two doms in her life, Liz is also met with her past, a past that doesn’t seem to want to let go. Another must read in the series, it will have you crying, laughing and wishing you were in Liz’s shoes.
Characters: The characters were well written and believable.
Sex: oh yeah
Religious: no
Would I recommend to others: yes
More than one book in the series: yes
Genre: M/F/M, BDSM, Romance
Would I read more by this author: yes

Independent Reviewer for Archaeolibrarian I Dig Good Books. I was given this copy in exchange for my review.

I love multi partner books, and I love BDSM books, so this should have pushed all my buttons and then some. Unfortunately, it fell a little flat, for me.

Don't get me wrong, its still a 4 star read, and I did enjoy it, I just felt it lacked a little....something....I dunno. I can't pinpoint what it was. Maybe its because its all written from Liz's POV in the first person. First person is not a favourite of mine, so maybe thats it.

Liz first meets James at the hospital dealing with a mugging victim. The first time she meets Ian, she knees him in the nuts! (nice one!) They both push Liz's buttons though, in a way she never experienced. And she gets it here. Full on Doms, James and Ian soon introduce Liz into their world, their lifestyle, and she just laps it all up. But Liz's ex turns up unexpectedly, and throws a proper spanner in the works.

I liked Liz, she knew something was missing in her life, and as soon as she met James, firstly, then Ian, she knew what she wanted, WHO she wanted and how. It does move fast, maybe a little too fast, (maybe thats what was bothering me!) its all over the space of a few days.

Its written well, as I said from Liz's POV, and I would like to have geard from James and Ian too.

I did like that all the major players from previous book in this series pop in and out. Even though I haven't read those books, its always nice to see previous characters in future books.

Still, a good solid four star read.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book is amazing, once you start it you can't put it down until you reach the very end. This book can be read as a stand alone, this book does bring bring back characters from previous books.

In this book we meet Liz. Liz is a woman with a whole lot of guilt from her past but the one thing she uses to combat that guilt is her job as a nurse in the emergency room at Highland Park Hospital. While working one night her best friend and co-worker Cindy asks her not to take the next patient that the EMS is bringing in fearing it will trigger to many memories for her from her past. What she gets is Trevor Hammond and what he wants is his partner. When Liz looks at Trevor her past comes back with a vengeance but what happens next she was sure would never happen to her.

While looking for Trevor's partner what she gets first is James she doesn't know who he is but knows that his voice does things to her that she has never felt before. This is an amazing story about finding love and forgiveness in ways you never thought were originally possible. This is an amazing story though that I would highly recommend.

This is the fifth in the series, and I have loved them all. This one, as they all do, builds on characters that we have grown to love and understand, as well as bringing in fresh new blood, which gives hints for future books.

The title of the story gives away an obvious point, which in the beginning is a bit confusing, given how things start out. But by the end I was as invested in the trio as always happens in Ms Jacob's novels. The writing is fluid and the plot lines work. Liz is an extremely endearing character and I was very happy with her story. Lucky woman being the sandwich between two very hot alpha males, who's life's ambition is to keep her satisfied!

It was frustrating!

I was frustrated reading this one. I enjoyed the plot, it was interesting but it's like this book was only halfway finished. First off, as in the title there's supposed to be two Doms in this story. By 50% I was wondering if it was a misprint because we don't meet Ian until after that. He literally has no place in the book until the last half! AND, we discovered absolutely NOTHING about him in the book. I'm not even kidding. Zero. How the heck did Liz fall for him? They never seemed to have a connection. It was never formed. Another thing that took away from the story is the overdramatic vernacular the author used when the main characters were conversing. It was ridiculous! No one actually speaks like that in real life. It really took away from the story. And there were too many unanswered questions and plot holes. Very disappointing.

Jenna Jacob had me at the beginning of this once again. How does she do this?!?! I don't know but she had me captivated not wanting to put this down. Ian and James finally meet their "one" the one that they want. After a tragic event with a friend of theirs, Trevor. That is in fact how James met Liz. She had called the club looking for "Daddy" not realizing what type of club it was. She assumed that they were all gay until she was proven otherwise. Once she learns the truth she starts reading on it has questions, but isn't necessarily 100% open with James. I don't want to put spoilers in this but ....after another incident that leaves James and Ian seeing red she realizes that they love her.........and will be there for her....

Well I finished this book a few days ago. Like all the other books in the series I loved it. However I did find it lacking in some ways. There just didn't seem to be much drama in this book. And by that I mean there was nothing really dramatic taking place. I mean yeah there was the whole kidnapping with her ex but that just seemed kind of rushed and out of nowhere to me. There was no build up to that. Maybe I'm being a little too picky. Either way I enjoyed the read. It was a page turner and very very hot. I loved James but I loved Ian even more. I hope the series continues for a long time.

I loved the first part of the book with poor Trevor and I loved how everyone banded together to support him. And i felt the way Liz reacted and her doubts about James and later Ian was very genuine.

I had a bit more trouble with the fact that James was about about honesty but forget to mention certain things himself and they came on pretty strong towards Liz while she wasn’t sure yet. I would have liked to see more interaction between the three of them.

Liz lost her younger brother Dayne a few years ago and has never truly dealt with his loss. Dayne was gay and the victim of hateful discrimination on several fronts which eventually caused him to commit suicide. When a young gay male is brought into Liz's ER after being badly beaten in a hate crime attack, she steps in to help the attending doctor. Trevor has the same hair and eye color as Dayne, and when he utters a sentence to her that Dayne used to constantly say to Liz, she is determined to take care of him as much as possible.

When she makes a call to try to locate his partner at Club Genesis, the man who answers has a voice that melts her from word one and an air of authority that translates easily over the phone line. But she is unprepared for the visual sucker punch when she lays eyes on James for the first time in the ER waiting room with Trevor's partner and the man she assumes is James's partner. These guys scream sexy and James's appearance works for her just as much as his voice. Having never heard of Club Genesis before, she jumps to the conclusion it is a gay bar and thinks that all females should be feeling the devastating loss of this man to the other team. Oops! You know what they say about assumptions! When she is eventually set straight, she is completely mortified which is closely followed by hopeful and intrigued.

Liz knows absolutely nothing about the BDSM lifestyle, and I have to say I thought the author's explanations provided through James were excellent. She asked questions and had preconceived notions that I think many people who are not part of the life also have (I know I do), so if you have ever considered reading a book featuring BDSM but have decided not to based on what you may have seen elsewhere, consider giving this book a chance if for no other reason than to get some straight answers from a writer who is knowledgeable on the subject.

That being said, Liz is scared to death of what James is proposing. She has been an independent woman and caretaker for years, she doesn't see herself as submissive at all, and the thought of giving up any of that hard won independence is both alluring and frightening at the same time. Yet she is attracted to James on a level she has never experienced before and she finds herself instinctively trusting him. When the Club Genesis group descends on the hospital to visit Trevor, Liz watches their interactions and is taken aback a bit with their openness. Growing up, her mother drilled into her psyche that a proper lady doesn't do anything of the sort, and Liz finds herself fighting years of indoctrination by her mother on one hand and her desires and what feels right on the other.

By almost halfway through the story, I was trying to figure out where Ian came into the picture as referenced in the blurb- and when he made his appearance I couldn't help laughing a bit at how it all played out with a heckuva misunderstanding. Then it was decision time for Liz. What does she want for herself in the future? If she agrees to their proposition, how would it affect her career if others found out? Can she get past the beliefs that were drilled into her from an early age even if her mom didn't practice what she preached? As she is coming to terms with her decisions, her ex-boyfriend Ryan reappears and throws an unexpected wrench into the whole scenario.

Throughout the story, I felt as though I was experiencing Liz's emotions right with her and it wasn't a fun ride at times. Also, there were a few things that bothered me as I was reading. First, Trevor's nickname for his partner Drake skeeved me out. It was explained and I get it but it didn't change the fact that it bothered me. Second, James and Ian were adamant that she shouldn't think of herself as a whore, yet on multiple occasions Ian referred to her as "slut". Umm, no! How does that even fit? They don't want her to demean herself but it is OK for them to do it? Perhaps that is acceptable in their world but it just felt wrong to me particularly when they are trying to convince her she shouldn't feel that way. Chalk it up to my own preconceived notions I guess.

Setting that aside, I did enjoy this book overall. It was the first one I have read in the series and had no problem reading it as a standalone although I do want to go back and check out a few of the preceding stories now!

There are a few authors who I go to when I want to get my BDSM read on. Jenna Jacobs is among those on that short list. Her stories always has a nice balance between character development, story outside of the sex, and creative BDSM scenes. In this installment of the series, nurse Liz is on shift when a badly beaten Trevor is brought in. When Drake and friends (all Genesis members) descend on the hospital, Liz meets James and starts down a new and interesting path.

For the first half of the story, its all James and Liz. James is a bit of an enigma because while he is a Dom and has the right moves, he seems to be more relationship/romantically driven. Liz's character is more as you would expect from someone who finds themselves on unfamiliar footing. Cautious but willing. The second half of the story is where Ian is introduced and the story conflict occurs. Ian is written as the quintessential Dom. Commanding, unbending, and in control. As a character, he is left more nebulous that James and Liz but he is the pivotal person who brings the trio together.

Mixed in among the relationship, there are some very touching scenes between Liz and Trevor that exposes Liz's deep seated guilt over her brother as well as between Trevor and Drake. Appearances by Genesis' other triad of Nick, Dylan and Savannah, as well as other key members rounds out a good read that will keep you interested til the end.

Seduced by My Doms (The Doms of Genesis #5)
by Jenna Jacob

***** 5 STARS *****

Seduced by My Doms is the 5th installment in The Doms Of Genesis series and I was so thrilled to get a chance to read this book before it hit the book stands. From the opening paragraph until I had read the closing sentence I was blown away by another astonishing story by Jenna Jacob.

Seduced by My Doms focuses and revolves around mainly three characters. Those being James Bartlett, Ian Stone and Elizabeth (Liz) Johansson.
Now if you have read others books in the series you will remember James as the ex-cop and a Dungeon Monitors from Genesis and Ian as his boss and owner of Stone, Inc. Elizabeth (Liz) is the newbie this time around. She is a 31 yr old ER/trauma nurse at Highland Park Hospital. Her life seems to evolve around the hospital and she seems to have a professional hold on herself, that is until a patient arrives in the ER in critical condition.

OK now is when this review gets touchy for me to write as I hate to give anything away. So I'll give you just the opening parts and then you can drive into this story head first.

We start out with Trevor (Daddy Drake's Trevor) arriving at Highland Park Hospital in really bad shape after being beaten by some college students. Liz is the nurse assigned to his care and she immediately finds her life turned upside down when she realizes that Trevor looks so similar to her dead brother. In the attempt to locate Daddy Liz places a call to Genesis thinking it must be a gay bar as Trevor is gay. - enter James into the picture. The impressive smooth talking James answers the phone and his dominate personality touches off a spark in Liz's heart. "Daddy" Drake arrives at the hospital with James and Mika (Club Genesis owner) in tow. Liz immediately thinks that the gorgeous-luscious James must be gay - that all I give you for that part.
Anyway while Trevor is under Liz's care she is introduced to many of the members of Genesis (loved that part) but finds herself drawn to the hot, sexy gay James. Let's see how did she put it - "My gay-dar" (You will love this part)

That's it - I can't give you anymore or I'll end up telling you the whole story.....Now get ready to delve into the pages of this amazing tale.

BUT, I will tell you this...........you get to revisit many of the beloved characters from the Doms of Genesis series. You will also get the added bonus of reading how Trevor and Daddy first met, which is such a wonderful addition to this story.
You will read about the internal struggle that Liz must deal with when she realizes she wants James. Now enter Ian into the picture and POW the intensity goes through the roof especially when Ian and James both claim Liz together. (HOT - OMG so HOT scene here that had my blood boiling and my heart was racing)
But wait that's not all..........................
Add in the guilt Liz lives with each day due to the loss of her brother at his own hands. (Have tissues ready for that part) and how feelings for Ian and James nearly crush her.
Then Liz's on-again-off again boyfriend enters the plot at a very interesting part of the story.......(steamy bedroom scene)
We aren't finished yet - turn it up another notch when that same, now bat-shit crazy, ex-boyfriend reenters the plot. Hold onto your seat as you will be on the edge of it, biting your nails and trying to read as fast as you can to see what happens.......(shockingly intense scene that unfolds here)....... PLUS the ending is one that will take your breath away.

So to bring this to a close. Jenna Jacob you have done it again. You have brought to life, on the pages of this book, the explosive, powerful and extremely sexy tale of James, Liz and Ian and you have added another dynamic and wonderful trio to Club Genesis.. Thank you Jenna Jacob.

After reading the other books in this series, I had high hopes but I was so disappointed. I loved the beginning with James and Liz getting to know one another and Liz battling her ghosts while caring for her patient, Trevor who was brutally attacked. I instantly wanted James and Liz together and healing for everyone.

Despite the title of the book, I was blindsided with Ian showing up and ramrodding the relationship. I'd liked Ian in the other books, I hated him here. He shows up out of the book, in a really, REALLY odd way and then just sort of takes over. After Ian explaining submission so beautifully in the last book (to Mellie), I hated the way he talked to Liz.

The relationship no longer felt real but oh so forced. It was like the author was determined to make this a triad even though the story was so much more better without it. The triad story with Nick, Savannah and Dylan proves she can do it beautifully but this missed the mark by miles!

I did like seeing Drake and Trevor but was just really let down by this book.

Seduced By My Doms

Another wonderful book. I wanted to cry for Drake and Trevor. Cheer for Liz. This had so many facets of love and life. Can't wait to read about Cindy's road to the life.

Jenna Jacob has done it again with this heart pounding, gut wrenching, and sinfully erotic addition to the Doms of Genesis series. This talented author knows just how to reach the hearts and souls of her readers, luring them into this sexy and addicting world of domination and submission.

SEDUCED BY MY DOMS had me reaching for the tissues in the very first chapter. I'm not talking a little sniffle here and there. I'm talking about a full-blown ugly cry situation. If you haven't read this series, you might get away with a few tears, but if you are invested, be prepared to wake up with red eyes, and a blotchy complexion, because, oh yes, this book will take you there.

Liz Johansson is an ER nurse, so it pretty much goes without saying, that she can handle any situation that is thrown at her. But when a patient is brought in, in really bad shape, she is brought back to the past when she lost the other half of her soul. This patient immediately becomes so much more to her because of the resemblance of a person she lost a long time ago. He also means so much more, due to the fact, that it brought the incredibly sexy James Bartlett into her ER. One look at him, and all the horrors of the past disappear, if only for a moment. His commanding voice, and incredibly overwhelming appearance does something to her. It brings her peace in a way that she cannot explain it. So what does she do? She runs far away because she is scared of the intense connection they share. Enter in something even more scary, James Bartlett's boss, Ian Stone. Shit starts to get real when James and Ian tag team to get this feisty, sexy woman in their bed and under their dominance.

This threesome's journey brought a lot of OH SHITS! and OH NO HE DIDN'T! and of course ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? I loved each character that was brought into the mix, and the chemistry between Liz, James, and Ian was explosive, intense, and extremely sexy. Fans of the series will enjoy a glimpse of the past when Drake and Trevor first met. Hint! Hint! Grab the tissues for this part. Jenna Jacob continues to create characters that will immediately capture our hearts and brings back the characters that stole it a long time ago. SEDUCED BY MY DOMS is a story of a woman who stopped living because of the devastation of her past. This is a story about two men who hold the key to her self-imposed prison. These two gorgeous men will be her salvation and in turn, she will bring light and beauty back in their lives. Very well done!

I was given a copy of this book by the author for an honest review.

If you've not read this series yet you can start here, but you might be a tad bit lost for a few minutes. The author, Jenna, has done a fantastic job at catching everyone up with the returning characters. The lead female in this story is Liz. She's an ER nurse and one of her patients is one of the Club Genesis submissive's - Trevor. He hits so many triggers for her as his case his way too close to home.

One of the first persons Liz is able to contact for Trevor is James at Club Genesis. James hits more triggers for her - but not of the protective kind - the sexy voice get your motor running kind of trigger. One that has been dormant. Now all of a sudden won't shut off thinking of James' voice. Meeting him in person is another mix of emotions for Liz. Both of them feel the pull. Of course the Dom in James really steps into play when he meets Liz at the hospital.

No other woman has pulled out his dominance as quickly or as strongly as Liz. For James - he has to make sure she knows he's the one for her. Tricky thing is Liz knows nothing about being a submissive. Nor does she know much about D/s relationships and play. Something she must study up on and learn if she's willing to be with James and his true nature.

Of course you know it wouldn't be a good book without some drama involved. There's always something. So there is a monkey wrench in this story - his name is Ian. Scaring Liz away the first chance his gets isn't on purpose but doesn't help endure Liz to trying BDSM for the first time. Definitely makes their work cut out for them. What's worth having if you don't work for it, right?

The men definitely have an uphill battle where Liz is concerned and I appreciate the author creating it as such. Sometimes the unknown is scary and entering a different type sexual relationship that's considered abnormal by society can be extremely scary. It takes a brave person to open themselves up to ridicule, gossip, and scorn.

These characters are fun and I enjoyed reading about their start to their relationship. Definitely some bumps and trials/tribulations along their path. It can't be easy for two men and one woman to embark on a relationship. I think it's hard to have a solid one without communication between two people much less adding another in the mix.

If you're a fan of BDSM stories this is a good series to read. All the characters are endearing and I look forward to catching up with them in the next novel in the series as they come along.
