I've watched (not read) all of Mirai Nikki - which I totally recommend - and I've read/watched some of Gantz - meh, it's interesting but the manga gets weird around volume 8/9 - and Darwin's Game is kind of a mash-up of those two series.
So far what I know is people are playing a social mobile game where they battle (kill) other players to accrue points. Each person also has a "sigil," some sort of special power that no one else has. The protag has no idea how he got roped in and at first doesn't have any idea why people are trying to kill him. Obviously he has to learn pretty quickly so it's not game over for him.
It's an interesting premise though not entirely unique as mentioned above, but I still find it original enough to keep reading.

This was the first time I ever read a manga! I feel like a whole new world has opened up to me.
Darwin's Game is definitely not an original concept. The fact that it was similar to Battle Royal, Hunger Games and Warcross is what lured me in. I watched the anime adaptation. The first episode hooked me in and I needed more after that finale episode. There were definitely hints that there is supposed to be a season 2, but like many good animes it might as well be cancelled. And that's when I turned to the manga and I'm very glad that I did.
The story is fast paced with lots of action and nice MC. I loved the artwork and writing.
I'd totally recommend it if you love Hunger Games, Warcross or Battle Royale. You won't be disappointed.

Super spannende Grundstory, die sehr blutig umgesetzt wurde. Ich habe es weggesuchtet und es war alles sehr actiongeladen, leider waren die Dialoge manchmal ganz schön platt. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne, aber ich habe es trotzdem genossen und freue mich auf Band 2!

Un premier tome qui démarre sur les chapeaux de roue. En tant que lecteur, on est un peu propulsé dans le jeu comme Kaname. La course poursuite est tendue à souhait. le personnage de Shuka est magnifiquement déjanté. Une guerre des clans se profile dans ce jeu à mort avec des petits airs de Fight Club car personne ne parle du Darwin's game hormis les initiés. le dernier chapitre met bien en haleine pour la suite, un lien avec un passé très lointain ?
Vraiment une belle découverte que cette nouvelle série qui promet d'être très noire. Un régal en prévision !

Darwins game is a survival game genre. The MC is also pretty well developed in my opinion..
I'm not judging but those who call this manga a bad might not have a taste for the "Game" category Moreover, the action in Darwin's Game is one of a kind, it's actually really hard to deduce the outcome of the fights that go on.

Since watching the anime (on Netflix), I was intrigued and didn't want to wait for season 2 (which at this point, who knows if it's even renewed for another season).
Read volume 1 online, liking it so far.

There's definitely more police involvement in the manga than the anime. Because of course that makes sense... how do people disappear and the police just... don't notice?

A very intriguing battle royale. I am enjoying the storytelling style of this manga and look forward to discovering the mechanics of this world and what is revealed in each charaters' POV. Definitely recommend for those who like intelligent, action-packed stories.

Nothing original but I still really enjoyed this series and all of the gang. I've read all 121 chapters but am definitely too lazy to log them all, so will just go for the first, middle and last. A worthwhile manga :)

L'intérêt diminue après chaque tome... j'ai fini par abandonner. La série aurait gagné à être plus courte. Dommage !

Review:
Nueva obra que nos trae la editorial Ivrea y de las que adoro a más no poder. Los survivor tipo King's Game o Tomodachi Game me apasionan y no podía dejar pasar esta oportunidad de comenzar una nueva historia.
la trama gira entorno a una app del móvil que nos otorga un poder evolutivo durante un tiempo limitado por ejemplo el poder de ser invisible o de controlar un elemento y debes usarlo para eliminar a los contrarios, cuyas muertes son reales y cuando te sale "Game Over" desapareces dejando una silueta de tu cuerpo en la escena del crimen. Un juego del que, una vez entras, ya no puedes salir...
Es que me flipan estas historias... que le voy a hacer 🤷♀️.
y sé de antemano que esta obra cuenta con una adaptación al anime pero no quiero hacerme spoilers por lo que seguiré siendo fiel a su publicación manga y me tocara sufrir la eterna espera entre tomo y tomo. Lo bueno es que la editorial ha decidido que los tomos de esta obra sean dobles por lo que, en verdad, cada todo son dos por lo que la historia avanzará más deprisa y no nos dará tanta ansia por saber qué pasará.
Os la recomiendo a tod@s los aficionados a los Battle Royal.

Leider war es gar nicht mein Fall. Wirklich positiv hat mich nur der Zeichenstil angesprochen. Die Linien waren schön klar und die Gesichter interessant.
Der Plot war meiner Meinung nach sehr oberflächlich und plump erzählt. Zum Beispiel konnte sich der Leser bereist durch eigene Gedanken ein Bild zu den Spielregeln und Fähigkeiten der Personen machen. Dann wird aber nochmal mit einem unoriginellem Text, dass ganze erklärt. Was mir aber am wenigsten gefiel, dass es hier nichts zwischenmenschliches gab. Es ging wirklich rein um das Ermorden oder das Fliehen. Die Charaktere waren daher natürlich unsympathisch.
Interessant war nur die Anspielung, dass sich der Protagonist, der ja nur aus Versehen in dieses Mordspiel gelangt ist und eigentlich nur versucht dahinter zu kommen, was abgeht und wie er wieder entkommt, eventuell mit eineim anderen Spieler des Spiels verbünden könnte. Schachtelsatz lass grüßen. Damit beende ich es hier mal. Ich werde die Reihe nicht weiter lesen.

A apresentação da ideia de social game Battle Royale (there's an app for everything) teve um início hesitante, mas depressa ganhou ritmo. Restando agora esperar que com os novos capítulos apareçam personagens um pouco mais originais. Sorry mas não tenho paciência para o Moralista Herói Relutante e a Phsycho Lolita, especialmente quando esta última tem momentos em que se torna mansa sem qualquer razão, só porque dá jeito ao autor.

Nemu manga ini ga sengaja di web scanlation. Berhubung sinopsisnya terdengar menjanjikan, yaudah saya coba baca. Dan ternyata isinya benar-benar menjanjikan!
Suka sama karakter-karakternya! Keren. Penasaran banget sama kelanjutannya. Penasaran bakal jadi kayak gimana si karakter utama ini. Berharapnya sih dia masih bakal menjauhi bunuh-membunuh dalam game, tapi yah kalau lihat genre-nya kayaknya nggak bakal deh ya. :/

Dès le départ, on est plongé dans le vif du sujet, sans savoir de quoi il retourne tout comme le personnage principal. Mais tout comme lui, on va le découvrir très rapidement. L'histoire est rythmé, passionnante, intrigante, tout ce qu'il faut pour devenir accroc! Quand au dessin, le trait est exactement ce que j'apprécie dans un manga, fin, typé, racé, que du plaisir donc!

Guter Auftaktband, aber mit noch viel Luft nach oben. Mir gefällt das Thema und das Ende war auch richtig gut und verspricht eben noch einiges, aber es war auch noch sehr langatmig. Bin auf Band 2 gespannt.
