I’ve infiltrated the mafia.

It’s insane, but I’ll do whatever it takes to exact the revenge I’ve dedicated my entire life to.

Now I’ve gotten close enough to strike.

Everything is going according to plan.

Except him…

I don’t trust her.

She puts on a good face, playing the sweet, kindly nurse.

I’m not convinced.

But not trusting her hasn’t stopped me from wanting her.

Because I do want her.

Badly.

Badly enough to ignore the voice in my head that screams at me to stay away.

Badly enough that I’ll put my honor, my clan, and her life at risk.

Kaye Blue has done it again another fine story in the ongoing saga of the Romanian mob Chronicles. This was the love Journey of Lily and Anton. These two were perfectly matched although at face Balue it didn't seem so. Lily was an avenging angel bent on destroying the people she believed put her brother in a vegetative state. Lily was so focused and filled with revenge she did the impossible. She infiltrated the Romanian mob scene. She truly fooled everyone except for Anton. Anti-knew something was wrong with this girl something just wasn't right but his heart spoke for him. And he l accepted Lily into the fold. Soon secrets were exposed. And soon their roles were reversed she cared less and less about revenge and he cared more and more about revenge on her. This was a great story patiently waiting for the next installment. Definitely five stars and I definitely recommend a story to you. <3

... Loved the cunning mannerism of Anton in "Avenge". He might have been the illegitimate son in this story but there was seemed to be a working design set in place by his ailing father.

I like Kaye Blue's Romanian Mob Series, Keep is my favorite, so far. This one falls a bit short because there is practically insta-love, though Anton and Lily spend time together, not nearly enough to be in love. There was one person who made assumptions about H/h's relationship that rang false to me, he was too self-absorbed to pay this kind of attention to the people around him.

I applauded what the hero had to do in order to save her and he would do it again, even knowing the consequences of his actions. So, in the end I did believe his love for her and hers for him. Though I didn't like the conclusion of the book, I'm still looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series.

This is book 3 in the series and we are looking at a relationship in another family. This is a BW/WM story.

Anton and Lily, I like them as a couple and enjoyed the components that made up their relationship. I like the fact that Lily was a brave woman and strong enough to infiltrate this family to try and accomplish her goal.

Although I enjoyed the story, for me there was too much narrative and not enough time for the couple to explore their relationship and have couple time. I would have enjoyed this story much more, if Anton and Lily were able to talk to each other and explore their emotions and feelings in a lot more depth.

ARC received in exchange for honest review

This author is becoming one of my favorite authors. I have never actually read any books regarding Mobsters. But this series was so good.
Everything you would love in a short drama filled series.

This book is about Anton. The Bastard son of Christoph Constantin Senior, who is the father of Petey who Sorin killed in the second book.
So the Christoph Senior is dying and his son Christoph Junior is taking over, even though everyone knows that Anton is the logical son to take over. But in the family Anton has no rights so he will just be the one standing beside Junior and doing all the dirty work for him

Lily's brother Braden is in hospital in a vegetative state and the person that put him there is Christoph Senior or so she thinks. So she promises her brother that she will get revenge for him. She gets a job as Senior's nurse and she meets Anton. But she can't get involved with him because that will interfere with her revenge plans.
Anton on the other hand is suspicious of Lily because they don't allow strangers into their homes or lives. But he can't deny the attraction he feels for her.

But Lily is hiding something and Anton needs to be focused on the family and his responsibilities.

For me Anton was a bit more closed off than Vasile and Sorin but if you like the dark and broody type then he is just the one for you.

Drama, Romance, Sex, Drugs, Murder everything to make a good Mob Story

Awesome series Kaye Blue

Can't wait for the next one

Not my favorite of the series. They just didn't have to chemistry to me that the first two couples had. It was interesting though. Curious as to who the next story will be about. Priest?

This book is just spectacular.

Lily Holan.
I loved her character so much and appreciated not just the black women representation but also loved the fact that she was a curvy woman.

Her character symbolised strength and quality for me.
Even though she has suffered for years and years on end. She stayed strong and wanted to exact revenge fore brother state.

I don’t think her weak what so ever for not going though with it or constantly feeling remorse for her thoughts on killing Christoph senior, she just wasn’t that person at all.

And as for Christoph Junior, I knew he was trouble from the beginning, just didn’t think he would take it that far.

I cried because i although i knew Anton would forgive Lily, I cried for them.

I cried for them because he thought he was going to die and that he didn’t want, he couldn’t allow his last image or memory of Lily be of the marks he saw Christoph junior leave on her face.

I cried for Him, because he just couldn’t have the father that should have been there for him, that should have marvelled in the prospect of his son and that he left this world knowing he couldn’t give his son peace of mind but instead let the thought that he is a bastard be the last thing to remain.

I cried because, I was terrified Adela wouldn’t care if the constantin name was demolished and as long as she got to see Anton’s demise.

But she didn’t she couldn’t allow what her husband built be diminished. She couldn’t allow what the constantin name stood for be destroyed. So I was beyond happy when she said Anton can’t die but instead he would lead.

But I was even more upset that she said she wished she could have tried to be a mother to him and Anton said she did what she could, it goes to show he didn’t hold a grudge against her. I only hoped she stayed and tried.

But she left him, and told him he should forgive Lily, and I could just live with that.

Anton.
I absolutely loved his character through and through, he wasn’t selfish and overall he was the better sibling.

He didn’t allow power and selfishness get in the way of his first and main priority Clan Constantin. I loved that he loved Lily.

It was sad to see it took him 5 weeks to come back to her.

Nevertheless he did come back to her and forgave her,
And that was the best ending I could have hoped for.

He was the right person to lead and I could only hope, actually I know that Christoph senior would be proud of him.

And that Anton gets a child of his own and protects and supports him/her no matter what, to be the example he never had.

His character is definitely my favorite.
I loved Lily and Anton so much and I hope I get to see their story carry on in this series.

I just finished this read and I just want to say YESSSSSSS, Kaye Blue! I was so here for this story. I loooove Anton and Lily was okay too, I mean I guess, but I was really here for Anton. I have been intrigued by his character, from book two in this series and I am so happy that he got his own story. Anton is such a good character because his description just fits the bill for the exact type of man that is in the mob lifestyle. He is alpha, tall, muscled, brooding, intelligent, takes no nonsense or disrespect, knows how to keep his mouth shut and just overall handles his business. I always find it to be nice, when these type of men fall for a nice woman like Lily.

Now, speaking of Lily, I liked her overall, I know my previous statement makes me sound like I am hating on her, but I really wasn't, while I was reading. I liked the fact that Lily, by nature, really was a nice person (although she tried to convince herself and others that she wasn't), but she had layers to her and thoughts and feelings that contradicted her "nice girl" persona or at least the "nice girl" image and label that people placed upon her. It made her character and what she was going through more real because in life, people aren't often as they seem, at least not all of the time or in every circumstance, so I liked that aspect of her character.

Now, I really liked this story, but I do have a few pet peeves, I wish the story had more interaction/communication with the two main characters. I am not a huge fan of instalove stories because they are just unnatural and unrealistic to me, this story had elements of this, although it still worked for me as a read. I wish the characters were fleshed out a bit more or given more time to get to know one another better in a more organic way. Another issue I had, was the ending. Anton and Lily deserved a better ending, I mean for real! I am glad they are together or trying to make it work or whatever, but that ending was too abrupt for me, I was flipping the pages, like "that's it, no epilogue, or nothing?!!" My last issue with the story, is that I wanted more on Anton's background. I wanted to know more about his upbringing from childhood, who his mother is , where is she/ will he look for her, how he grew up with the clan, how he got into his line of work, what made him so methodical and patient and deadly, I want to know HIM! I am hoping, Ms. Blue gives us another spin-off book for Anton because I feel there is just so much more to him and his story.

Overall, good read, I enjoyed it and I will definitely be continuing the series.

Who says formulatic is awlays a problem? Not me...I know what I like in my books and Kaye Blue will deliver everytime. Dangerous hero with ties to the underworld? Check! Curvy heroine who is sucked into the crime world? Check! Instant attraction? Check!! Sizzling sexual tension? Check!! Gratifying climax? Check! Glimpse into the world of organized crime? Check!!
I cannot complain when I get an erotic interracial story where the hero is dangerously sexy, the heroine is sweet with a dark past and I get to watch the fireworks when these two meet. In every book the juxstaposition of the lethal vs. the innocent is a winning combo.
I like how the men are bad and they own it. The women are drawn to these men but do not try to change them. Their love must survive in a world full of blood and death.

Some books stood out to me more than others: Keep, Possess, Fall, Reign, The Enforcer and more.
Least favorite so far: Avenge, war, the wedding, Redeem

Another amazing story that is in this series

Anton's whole life he was treated like he wasn't good enough to lead his Clan. He met the nurse taking care of his father but she had other things that she felt that made her come to work at the house and that was to find the person and people who took her brother from her. It was sad that she almost lost the love of her life Anton because she revealed what happened to her brother and the plan she had that she would've followed through with had she not fallen in love with him. It was scary when Christoph Junior attacked her and tried to kill her after he gave her answers about why he did what did to her brother,I'm glad that even though Anton was very upset about what Lily told and was planning to do his love for her won out in the end it helped him save her life.

Too much internal dialogue...

I wanted to like this story. It had some good bones. Two people who had no one and felt unworthy... It could have been magic. But, the couple spent no time together. I couldn't believe they liked each other, let alone loved. Plus, the men in this series don't seem to care about earning the females love at all. The women do all the pursuing and all the pleading to be in the MMC's lives. The men could take them or leave them. That's not romantic. Every male character seems to just settle for the female, but they don't talk to them or confide. The only two with chemistry so far were Sorin and Ester. Everyone else lacked everything, including personalities. I'm going to give one more book in this series a try but if it's more of the same 90% internal dialogue and no chemistry, I'm going to have to DNF this series, which pains me to do.

i just didn’t enjoy this one as much as the first two books. it was almost boring. the pacing was really weird and it took me way longer than it should’ve to finish it.

i’m disappointed that i didn’t like it because it has the most interesting concept/synopsis out of all the books in the series. it just really feel flat and i didn’t feel the chemistry between lily and anton. it was too insta-love-y.

Honorable!

Living without love or a kind word as a child is traumatic by itself. But to know there is something different about you that makes you stand out to boot is overwhelming. Anton did all this and became loyal, and honorable, to lead in the end. That led to Lily. Well laid out.

Anton and Lily

There was just something different about this couple compared to the others in the previous books. I think it's because one half of this couple is dangerous and has dealt the hand of death whereas the other half is a nurse, a caregiver. Polar opposites but completely made for one another.
This one has to be my favorite thus far.

PRINCIPAL CHARACTERS:
Anton
Lilly

SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
Christoph Senior
Christoph Jr.

SYNOPSIS:
She spent most of her life planning her revenge and then he appeared in her life and weakened her resolve. He knew something was off with her, but he couldn’t resist her pull not even if it gotten him killed.

REVIEW:
This third book of the Romanian Mob Chronicles, is about Anton (from Clan Constantine) and Lilly (Nurse to Christoph senior).
Lilly was planning her revenge and being inside the Constantine home was as close as she could be to executing it, but something was weakening her resolve and as soon as she saw Anton she knew she would not be able to carry her revenge.
Anton felt something was off with Lilly, he doesn’t trust her, has to find out what it is, but he also feels something for her, something he has never felt for anyone and he’s letting his guard down.
Written from the point of view of both characters, this book tells you about the life of each of them, why Lilly hates the Constantine’s so much and the real story of Anton and how he feels about never being acknowledge as who he is.
This book also gives you closure, but I would really love to have more of this couple, I fell in love with Anton and wouldn’t mind reading another book about him.

HAPPY READINGS!!!

in this part we get to know one of the other mob families. it's gritty and it shows things the way they are, cruel, bloody and raw.
used to the lifestyle he knows he'll never get to be the number one, he's a bastard's son, nothing more, nothing less. when the current head of the familiar decides to pass on the reigns due to ill health, he's surprised to find a young woman tending him, a woman he doesn't know who she is. he never came across a request to do a background check on her. he doesn't trust her, yet he's intrigued by her demeanor, un phased as she is around them all.
she finally made it! she infiltrated the family that destroyed her brothers life. she's determined to end things but meeting "him" makes her doubt everything. when he shows up at her doorstep she fears the worst but ends up having the time of her life!
how will these two make it work? or is their past catching up? so much is at play when both battle their demons, hoping to make the right decisions there is so much at stake!

what a story! so much hardship to overcome. it's a different world that of a mobster but it feels so real. the choices that are made ...
loved it from start to finish, even the cringe worthy parts!

I received this for an honest review.

Christopher Constantin Sr was getting close to the end of his life. He as leader of the Constantin Clan which was a Romanian mob. Lily Holan who was Christopher Sr’s nurse was there to kill him. She was truly battling this out. Everything in her wanted to see nothing but evil in this man. Her brothers was laying in a veggie state because of this man, right?

Anton was part of the Constantin Clan. There are a few surprises when it comes to Anton. Sorry will have to read the book to find out. Anton did not truly Lily. He just felt like there was something that she was hiding. All reason to not get involved with her correct?

Things get hot and heated with Anton and Lily. They are falling hard and fast for each other. Christopher JR does not want to see Anton have any happiness. Lily will find herself in more danger then she can get herself out of. Can Anton get to her in time? Will he be willing to betray the family to save her?

If you like your heroes with a lot of darkness in their souls, you are going to love this read. He is a killer and does not hide it. He scares her the first time she meets him but he also intrigues her.
She has all these plans for getting her revenge against his family but he makes her question her priorities.

It is a dark read about a man that does brutal killings in the name of protecting his family. He is committed to them and she makes him question that lifetime of commitment. When she is at risk, he will do anything for her. He is the really bad boy you should run from but he makes her feel like she is important.

I enjoy the MC and mafia stories. They definitely are men that are complicated to be in a relationship with but some of them know how to treat a woman so she feels like a queen. I liked the fact that the men in the book did not treat women as purely sex objects as they are in many similarly themed stories.

I received a copy in return for a honest review.

I was given this book as an ARC and was asked to give my honest opinion on it, and here it is.

This is the  story  of Anton  and Lily heart-felt love story with many twist and turns. I never saw coming and leaves the readers on edge. They was great together and perfect for each other until Christoph Jr( the devil) grew a head. The intense emotion between them, the heat was so alive, that it capture and holds the reader attention. I loved everything about it. I loved the main character, Anton, who felt like a real person to me. A person with real feelings, real flaws, a real flesh and blood person. This is a softer side of Anton from the previous books. The' story is full of secrecy, revenge, betrayal and graphic mafia violence which was worthy and enjoyable... When the ending came I thought it was well played out and written well. Overall, it's an amazing story!!!! Pick up this book! It is a quick and easy read, but I guarantee it will be well worth your time and effort.

**I received an ARC from author/publisher in exchange for an honest review**

I have to say that every book Kaye writes just gets better and better. I really liked the excitement and danger of the mafia in this one. Lily was a very brave person to try what she did. That made the love and relationship between her and Anton all the better and more dangerous. I kept thinking all through the book how was this thing or that thing gonna play out. Usually in a story you can guess the different paths it will take you on, but not this one. I had no idea. And there were multiple things going on that made it so much more intense. I don't know how Kaye does it. She is just simply amazing. If you haven't read the first two books, you could still read this as a stand alone but I know you would want the first two after this. Now I'm having trouble picking up a book from other authors because I have a book hang over from this story.

Review w/spoilers

The was a really good book. Anton and Lily were two very complex individuals who found love in the the mist of hurt and betrayal. Anton,The bastard son of the Clan Constantin never to be acknowledged by his family, forced to live a life of solitude while watching as his brother takes over the reigns of the family in the wake of their father's sickness. Then you have Lily ,the round the clock nurse hired to take care of his father, who is set out for revenge against the who she believes tired to kill her brother, but soon finds herself questioning her motives as she falls for the mysterious Anton. I loved it great read, well written and will have you on the edge of your seat.

Avenge in the third book in the Romanian mob chronicles by Kaye Blue. This book leaves me uncertain if this is the end of the Romanian Mob Chronicles, is this the last we will see of Vasile, Sorin, Anton and the women who have managed to capture their hearts. We first met Anton in Kept and again in Fall. Anton is the enforcer for Clan Constantin and the bastard son of Christoph Senior. Lily Holden, the new nurse for Christoph Senior, who plans to seek her revenge against Clan Constantin for leaving her beloved brother in a vegetative state. What she did not count on was Anton and the feelings that she develops for him.

Will Anton find love with Lily and become head of the Clan or will he have to kill the woman he has come to love because of the secrets she holds?

Antons story from the Romanian mob series

This is Antons story, it's best if you read the series in order to get the most out of the series but you don't have to in order to understand the plot.
Anton is the illegitimate sin of the Clan Head though he isn't recognized as such. He's very loyal and alphas of alpha but he always tries to do the best for his clan. Lily is on a oath of revenge because of what happened to her brother. She and Anton collide and even though they're very attracted to each other, they still mistruat each other because of everything goin on.
I won't spoil the story but, this was an amazing tale of forgiveness and love. Of course the sex scenes we're hot but this has a lit more meat to the plot. Very detailed and driven story!
