The story grabs your attention from line one and at first you're thinking it's someone that cares for "X's" well-being. As you progress, you see there's an unhealthy situation that's about to take place. The story takes you on a ride in the mind of the "killer" to see his/her thoughts and their process of elimination concerning their wants, desires and needs. The story plays on our internal fears of the unknown; something lurking in our tree-lined areas surrounding our homes.
