It's a robot revolt! As Sammy's inventor mom works on a secret project, he and his sister try to contain the hilarious pranks and chaos of droids on strike.
After a few early glitches in their relationship, Sammy and his "bro-bot" E are now fast friends. In fact, E is such a valued member of the family that the other electronic occupants of the House of Robots are feeling sorely unappreciated. And when Sammy's inventor mom becomes distracted by a top-secret project, the robots soon begin to fall into disrepair.
Cue a robot revolt, with the droids wreaking harmless havoc in the house! Armed with pranks like glue in the shampoo bottles and flying toast missiles, the robots demand to be cared for. It's up to Sammy and his disabled sister Maddie to keep the peace until his mom reveals her secret project . . . and why it was worth the wait.

This book was very inspiring. Robot Revolution teaches you a lesson of never giving up. This book is about a 11 year old kid making an invention to help his sister fight the disease she has. I reccomend this book to everyone who likes to read and does not stare off into space while they are reading.
This was still a fun read, but it seemed to be a lot more distracted than the previous books in the series. Sammy Hayes-Rodriguez is about to see his world thrown upside down. It is not like it isn't interesting enough already. His dad is a famous graphic novel writer, and his mother is a doctor who specializes in robotics. In fact, she has designed a number of specialized robots to take care of a number of tasks that are necessary around the house. She also created a robot that is able to go to work and serve as a conduit for Sammy's sister Maddie to attend school remotely through the robot because she has a condition that makes her incredibly susceptible to infection.
Things start to go haywire when Sammy's mom is working on her next big research project. No one knows what it actually is, but it is really secret. She feels that telling anyone about the project will cause it to fail. That is not really the problem, though. She is so caught up in the work that she is really not doing much but working in her lab. This includes basic maintenance and updates for the robots working around the house. They start to have all sorts of problems, and havoc ensues.
Sammy is also having to deal with a new student in his class. The new students seems to be one of those kids who is able to do everything perfectly, which can be really annoying, particularly since everything in Sammy's life seems to be a little messed up right now.
The book is filled with the usual funny humor and interesting illustrations. There is no question the book is fun. It just struggles with not having enough meat in the plot.
The House of Robots: Robot Revolution is a book about a young boy named Sammy who has a robot named E. Sammy's parents are scientists and they make robots that have taken over the house. The parents can't stop the robot take over because they are busy working on a secret project.
I liked this book and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys fictional stories. I have read the other two books in the house of robots series and enjoyed this book as much as the first two. My favorite thing about these books is the storyline. It is fun to imagine living in a world full of robots.
I'm giving this 3 stars, but it earned 5 stars from my ten year old, with whom I read it. It's a funny, fast paced kid's sci fi story that isn't quite as tight or intriguing as the previous books in the series, but good enough that we had lots to talk about and laugh over--and my son wouldn't let me stop reading it each night until he was asleep.
In the book, House of Robots Robot Revolution (book #3) by James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein, Sammy Hayes-Rodriguez goes on an adventure to try and help his sister, Maddie’s, health problems with a science fair project. Him and his friend, Trip, need to find an idea for their science fair project. Sammy suggests making a bubble for Maddie to walk in so she won’t get sick while playing outside. Well, this plan was a total failure and they need another plan so they go to Sammy’s mom for help. Oddly, Sammy’s mom was working on an idea just like Sammy’s and Trip’s. They start working together and finally found something that might help, but they don’t know for sure. Read the book House of Robots Robot Revolution (book #3 ) by James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein to find out what happens next.
When working on the science fair project, Sammy and Trip meet their enemy. His name is Randolph Randy Reich, the guy who never, ever makes any mistakes. Randy is always complaining about Sammy’s mom’s inventions and has to make their lives miserable. During the science fair, Randy tried to copy Sammy and Trip’s invention, but it backfired. Meanwhile, Maddie's sickness gets worse and they have to find help, and quickly.
This book is for elementary kids who like science and humor. James Patterson creates a suspenseful book and makes the series hard to put down. They are really funny and must have taken a lot of thought into writing them. James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein made this book series child appropriate and easy to read the short chapters. The chapter names are really funny as well. I will give this book a 4.5 out of 5-star rating!
The book I read was Robot Revolution, by James Patterson. The book is about an 11 year old named Sammy. He's a smart and funny kid but he's not very popular and gets in quite a bit of trouble. He's just trying to do good. His mom is scientist that makes robots, his dad is an author, and his sister has SCID. A disease where your bodies germs aren’t strong enough to fight off the germs. I really liked this book, and its whole series. I liked it because it’s a different experience, and because it’s entertaining. It also has a good message at the end, mistakes are good because they make you build on new ideas and help you to not do them in the future. For Sammy’s science fair project, he wants to help his sister get out into the world so that she can explore. Since Maddie (Sammy’s sister), can’t go anywhere because of her SCID, it would be nice if she could experience the outdoor world. In the end, Dr. Hayes (Sammy’s mom), helps Sammy with his project, and Maddie gets to go anywhere without getting sick. I recommend this book to any middle schooler, it’s an entertaining, and fun book that you can sit down and read for hours. One thing I disliked from this book is that it doesn’t give enough information of Sammy’s nemesis, Randolph. If he’s Sammy’s nemesis, then it should probably give more information on him. Something I like from the book is how much action there is, it always seems like something’s happening. It makes you want to keep reading. It’s a great book and I wish for there to be more in the series.
My book is called ¨House of Robots, Robot Revolution¨ the author who made this series of books is James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein. This book is mainly about how the mom is a scientist and makes robots, but she design one special robot for her daughter so she can be around other people. A major theme in this book is that her mom is trying to create a robot that will help her daughter so that she can go outside and not get other people so she doesn't have to wear a mask and can actually enjoy her life as a small kid.it gets developed over the book because her mom finally makes robot so that she can help her daughter and now she can enjoy her life and go play with her friends and make new friends now. ¨Maddie takes a couple of bows at center stage.Tears of joy are streaming down her cheeks, she isn't inside a plastic walker ball. She isn't being wheeled in on a gurney by a pair of paramedics,She isn't even wearing a surgical mask.¨ I really didn't enjoy the book as i thought i was going to be way better than i expected it but it was alright,it was pretty easy to read, the ending was alright but it could've ended way better and i only had one favorite part and that was when they found out a way to help their daughter go and enjoy life again.
In the book “House of Robots-Robot Revolution” Sammy, Trip, E, Maddie, Mrs.Hayes-Rodriguez, Mr. Hayes-Rodriguez, and Randolph R. Reich are the main characters. In fact, Sammy is the protagonist and Randolph R. Reich (R.R.R.) is the antagonist. Before we begin, I feel I should explain all the characters first. First, Sammy well he is just an average kid who lives in a not so average house. Next, Trip likes eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches and is Sammy’s second-best friend, (you’ll see why in a second). Next, Maddie, Maddie is Sammy’s sister and his first best friend has “Severe Combined Immunodeficiency” and can’t leave her house unless she’s going to the hospital. Mrs. Hayes-Rodriguez is Sammy and Maddie’s mom, she is also a scientist at Notre Dame and she works on these crazy long experiments. Mr. Hayes-Rodriguez is Sammy and Maddie’s dad. Randolph R. Reich otherwise known as R.R.R. is somebody who thinks they never make mistakes, you'll read the book and see if he makes a mistake or not, and if so, you’ll never guess what it is. I gave this book a four-star rating because it was very eventful and I look for those types of books. I think the theme of this book is to persevere.
This book is written by the halrious author named James Patterson. This book is the third and last book of the season. It's about the main character Sammy and his sister Maddie. Her sister has a diasise that doesn't let her go to school so a robot called E goes for her and she controls him. Their mom is a engineer and scientist at Norte dame and she has been working nonstop on a big project. Meanwhile most of the robots are rebelling against there makers. Trying to get equal rights or something of that sort. Thier mother is working on a treatment that would cure and help maddies disease and help her go outside and play and go to school and what not. But there are many challenges. The robots are not working, sammys science fair is coming up with close competition, and maddie is having trouble with her disease. Will sammys mom find a solution. Or will maddie never be able to interact with people again. Read to find out!
The book, "Robot Revolution" from an amazing author that I love, James Patterson, is about a character, named Samuel Hayes Rodriguez, living in a house full of robots that are going mayhem. These robots aren't his only problem, Sammy also had a new enemy at his school that never gets anything wrong; Randolph R. Reich. Sammy has to overcome all of his problems in order to help his little sister, Maddie, who has a problem with fighting sickness; she get sick very easily and has trouble fighting it off. All in all I really loved this book and how happy I felt when I read the ending. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading books about someone who is happy to make mistakes and overcome them; learn from them. This book has a lot to show and I think that this will be a good book to read.
Robot Revolution was a great book. I love the bond between the Hayes-Rodriguez family, and how they never stopped working on Project Maddie until they figured it out.
The ending was great. I love how they cured Maddie's SCID, and how Sammy did everything that he could to help.
This story was also very predictable. From the start, I knew that R.R.R. was going to make his first mistake. And his mistake wasn't even that big!!!
Also, there was a lot of scientific explanations in the book that I didn't quite understand. When they were talking about the bubble-bots, I didn't know what they were talking about.
Some of the parts in the middle of the book were a bit unneeded, but overall, I still really enjoyed the book.
I would recommend it to kids who like funny stories about robots and the importance of family.
The book "House of Robots, Robot Revolution" Is by a well-known author, James Patterson. The book is about a young boy in fifth grade, with an insane house, filled with robots! The boy has a Younger sister who has a rare case where she can not leave her room, a father that is crazy about art, and a mom that is a crazy scientist! When at school there is a new kid, R.R.R. who is rich and bragged about everything. He tells Sammy about all the cool stuff he has. As Sammy's mom is working in her lab 24/7, all the robots start malfunctioning, and Sammy can't get his mom's attention. R.R.R. is starting to get on his nerves. Read the book to find out what happens with all the robots and school! I would rate this book a five out of five stars because this book will get a good laugh out of you. You should read this book if you like comedy books. The book was for sure fun to read!
According to my sons, who read the book, Robot Revolution! was a cool book. The book was about a kid whose mom could make robots. In the first book of the series they made a robot for the boy's sister, who couldn't go to school because she was sick. The robot went to school for her, and she could experience life at school through the robot's eyes. The boy didn't really like the robot, because it embarrassed him. By this book, the robots were malfunctioning, and the boy has to work together with the mom to figure out why the robots are not working properly.
The book was interesting and funny, and the robots were cool. Running through the book as well, though, were some very deep emotions which kept the reader's attention and made it a very interesting book.
This book was my second favorite in the series. The main reason is because the robots all went on strike. They went on strike because Sammy and Maddies mom Dr.Hayes spent more time on other projects. This is one way I liked the book.
My favorite part was when Sammy found a cure for his sister Maddie. Maddie has a problem with germs and she can only stay in her sterile room. Sometimes she can come down stairs. Sammy invented a bubble bot which helps her with germs. She can now go all over the place without worrying about germs.
They meet a new guy named Reich who was rude. I didn't like him because he was rich and very spoiled.
This what I liked and what I did not like about the book.
What House of Robots #3 by James Patterson is about this kid named Greg has a younger sister that is alterject to almost everything and can't leave her room at all. So her mom who is a sientce made these robots for her so that she would not get sick. So one day when she was going to brush her teeth. The robot got out it's hair brush and she just did that before she brushed and went on with her day. Then the next day Greg went down to the kitchen for some breakfast. But then the robot just started to make him dinner. Then he told his mom. I won't spill the rest of the story.
What the age for this book would be 6th grade to 7th grade.
What my thoughts on this book was it was very good. I like how the author explained the place that they were at. It made my think I was there.
At first glance, the House of Robots franchise seems to be a bit silly, but the books are actually well-written with great illustrations. The main character, Sammy, is very likeable and should easily appeal to middle grade readers. The "robot revolution" theme isn't the exactly the main focus for the plot. I don't want to give away the ending, so let's just say Maddie is heavily involved. With the way it does end, I'm not for sure how there could be another sequel; though I'm sure the authors will come up with something.
Overall, House of Robots: Robot Revolution is a smartly-written, fast-paced robotic adventure that both kids and adults will enjoy reading.
Sammy lives in a house full of robots with his ill(sick) sister Maddie, his dad and scientific genius mom. What I liked about this book is many people know that tech can fail us at some points and because all of the robots go on a revolution which is what the title proclaims. These robots are on strike because Sammy's mom is always in her lab and has little to no time to care for anyone. All robots needed the creator's care and went on strike. I would recommend this book to you because I think it's a really fun science fiction story, has lots of pictures and it's an easy 250-300 page read with easy to understand sentences.
A cute story about the robots in the Hayes-Rodriquez family going on strike when they feel neglected by Dr. Hayes. Dr. Hayes is very busy trying to finish her top secret invention that could help her daughter, Maddie, function in the real world. Hilarity ensues as Maddie and her brother, Sammy, try to “fix” and “mother” the robots.
This was a good book. I think that the second one was the best in the series. However I really enjoyed it. This was a great story of family and again sometimes how people get busy and have their own things that take up their time and how everyday things can take a the back burner, but in the end everything works out. It also shows how a small idea or thought can make a big difference.
Kids probably love this book. But I have one concern about the way how Maddie is portrayed. She has severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) and can rarely leave her bedroom. A robot attends school for her so she can participate. Illustrations imply she’s 6 or older. Yet as I understand it, survival rate for this disease is quite low unless treated as an infant.
I think this is a good read because it's long and the author kind of understands children and the robots in this book each have their own personality.i wouldn't call it my favorite book but,it is a fun book
Such a good kids book. Science is so important in our world. Everyone makes mistakes at first but eventually it usually works out. This book is all about the power of science. Failures and all. Ad the important reasons why science IS so important. Such a sweet book
Very good book, I loved this book. This whole book is about Sammy Hayes-Rodriguez curing his sister Maddie because she has a deficiency in her immune system. Sammy uses something called bubble bots to make his partial-match bone marrow a perfect match in the book.

I thought this book was absolutely AMAZING! My favorite author is James Patterson because he writes the best books. I recommend this book to kids who are big readers because I am and I loved it. Trip was an interesting character because he was mean even though he was Samuel's best friend.
