Snow, steam, and secrets.

The latest snowstorm carries something unexpected to the doorstep of Hutch’s secluded Alaskan cabin: a stranger named Jude, the most beautiful man Hutch has ever seen. Jude says he’s in the area for a ski trip and that he fled a domineering lover, thinking he could make it into town. But Hutch is a suspicious SOB and treats his unwanted guest warily. The problem is Jude isn’t just gorgeous, he’s funny and smart and flirtatious.

Two gay men snowed in for three days—things happen. Really good things. By the time the storm clears, Hutch finds himself a little too attached to Jude Devereaux, San Francisco-based male model. But is Jude what he claims to be? Or is he entangled in the secrets Hutch moved to Alaska to escape?

I see the Dreamspun Desires tag and think fluff central. Eli Easton can certainly write feel-good with the best of them.

On the surface, this is a cozy story: Sexy man living alone in a remote Alaska cabin rescues a stranger stumbling around in the snow. Then KISSING and HEA!

Except not, nope, that's not how it went.

Sexy man, Hutch, running from his past, has an arsenal of weapons and sleeps with one eye open. And the equally sexy stranger, Jude, is not what he seems.

There's still kissing (lots of kissing!) and a HEA, but the danger, sadistic terrorist, daring rescue, and legit mindfuck come first.

This story is not what I expected, but I loved it MORE.

It's a little dark and a hella lot sexy.

I'm not saying any more. The less you know the better.

Oh goodie! Eli Easton has written a 2-men-trapped-in-a-cabin-during-a-snowstorm book, one of my favorite tropes.

I love this couple. Big, gruff ex-mercenary Hutch, holed up in his Alaskan cabin retreat for three years, selflessly helping others but barely existing in his solitary lifestyle. Enter beautiful, funny, sweet Jude, a California-based model. Throw in some snow, sexual tension and wall sex (yes, you heard right, WALL SEX)

He turned and moved into the kitchen. In a flash, Hutch was out of his seat. He grabbed Jude’s elbow, spun him around, and slammed him against the kitchen wall. He pinned an arm across Jude’s chest. Jude’s face betrayed a flash of alarm before it settled into a half-lidded defiance that was more than a little sexy.

What a great book. And they lived happily ever after...

Wait, WHAT????

The fuck?

What is sneaky Ms. Easton doing with our sexy couple, Hutch and Jude?

Dude, Eli Easton turned this bitch UPSIDE DOWN.

Read this for the sexy, snowed-in-love-story by the talented Ms. Easton, but prepare to be dazzled with an extra shot of awesomeness.

Highly recommended.

I think the Dreamspun Desires stories are not for me. I keep wanting to try them all because they look like so much FUN, but I'm always sort of let down in the end.

Overall, I liked this novella. Eli Easton is one of my favorite authors, and I can always count on her for an excellent story. However, though I enjoyed it overall, I can't help but feel as though it just didn't quite gel with me in the right way.

I'm not sure if it was just how the author decided to play it or because of the Dreamspun Desires imprint makes it so, but I couldn't stand the insta-love here. These guys were waaaaaay too quick on the love for my tastes, and I kept wanting them to slow things down so REAL feelings could develop.

I liked the fast pace of the story, however, and I feel like it kept me on my toes, but there was just something missing about it. A good story but not great for me, I think I'll just stick to the regular Eli Easton stories for my fix.

I've been giving these books the side-eye for a while. I just couldn't see the point of a series that seems to be based completely on tropes, but... it's Eli Easton so I gave this one a shot and I am tickled pink. Is this tropey? You betcha. It's also fun as hell.
If you have doubts about this one, I promise you ACTION, surprises, elegant male models with big fat boners, reclusive mountain men with even bigger, fatter boners, and a warm and cuddly HEA. To say anything else would spoil so... just read it!

4.5 Stars!

Look. I don’t want to give too much away, but this had some flirty banter and some very good smexy. It also had a fabulous alpha male with a military background who is totally undone by a stranger in need who basically falls at his doorstep during a brutal blizzard. The love progression is fast, but it’s very plausible, and that shouldn’t be a surprise in such capable hands as Easton.

Rarely a book can keep me rapt, especially since I do the majority of my reading at bedtime. Let’s just say I read this in one go and was dead on my feet the next day.

Once the twist occurs, the action and suspense never lets up and neither do the swoony feels!

Unfortunately, this looks like it’s in DSP limbo as the audio is the only thing available. However, if you’ve had this waiting in your library, just know it’s giving you the stink eye wondering what the hell you’re waiting for, and I have to say I agree! Read!

4.25 HEARTS--Tag team review with Adam

Dreamspun Desires aka cracky fluff has another home run with Snowblind by Eli Easton.

Me= when a new Dreamspun title is released

What fun romance tropes to find from the latest Dreamspun treasure? Stranded in a snowy cabin mixed with a damaged hero and disguise.

Delicious.

My favorite of the house line (so far) happens to be by this same author, so this book had big shoes to fill. A total 180 from The Stolen Suitor , this book toed the line of cracky fluff with dashes of realism. If this isn't your first time with the line, you know to expect some cheese, some sugar and fluff.

All founded in this novel.

Set in Alaska, Hutch is a damaged solitary former Marine (oohrah!) with a lot of baggage and not a lot of patience for others. He's suspicious of a nearly frostbitten stranger that falls on his property. He has a secluded cabin for a reason and is on high alert with the frozen man's arrival. The frozen man being model Jude Devereaux. Jude thaws...and so does Hutch. The story for the first half is all Hutch's POV.

What is it about their connection he wonders. Is it the fact they're stuck in a blizzard and have no chance for escape? Maybe the need for companionship? Whatever the circumstances, the men are trapped in that house for three days.

And what a hot three days it was...

I'm sure you heard all about it.

But sex only this story is not. It has quite a twisty plot. And the twists and turns change from instalove/stranded highs to betrayal, action, murder, gun fights...

Dudes, it was a wild and crazy ride.

The story doesn't feature Jude's POV until 51%. And once it does, the story twists even more. I got swept away in the cabin fever feelings and could almost but the love. See, it wasn't instantaneous ILY's but close. And the author did a decent job portraying the men's inner thoughts as to what drove them for the crazy actions.

I'll keep all the crazy plot twists to a minimum as to not spoil the read. Because even if you guess what went down, you get the scope of it until you read it.

How's the sex? Hot when it's there, even the fade to black/non-graphic interludes were hot. In the bedroom, the men don't lack the chemistry. For what is allowed in the house line, I found it to be hot.

How's the fluff? Not as fluffy and sugary, but it's there. A little heavier in the whipped sweet fluff in the second half.

It's a close second to my fave, just because there were moments when my fluff bubble popped. And I questioned Hutch's motives once or twice.

The extreme climes, the action, the subterfuge and intrigue....the romance. It all in all made it a satisfying read.

Recommended for fans of the cracky fluff, who like hot alpha men who are more on the silent side. But when it comes to their men, you can hear them loud and clear!

Sweet lord, I have missed the cracky fluff that is the Dreamspun series! I *may* have gorged a teeny lil bit on this one.

oops

I couldn't help myself, though, because this fluff was primo. We have the pretty boy model in Jude meeting the strong silent type in Hutch under some life threatening circumstances in the wilds of Alaska. Hutch is guarded and gruff. He trusts no one which is why he lives between the middle of nowhere and the end of the line, but the bubbly Jude is very appealing. I started dancing a little bit at this development. You know my feels on the grumps.

Once Jude defrosts it's clear he is Hutch's opposite and seemingly into Hutch. Trapped in a tiny cabin in the middle of nowhere during a snowstorm things start to heat up with a quickness.

Sexy cracky fluff?!?!?!!? YAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DSP has said this series isn't meant to be super sexy but I don't think Easton got that memo or if she did she knew just where to stick it. Because between the flirting, the strip poker, the kitchen pounding... KITCHEN POUNDING WITH A POWER BOTTOM, PEOPLE!!!!!!!! I seriously considered licking my phone while listening to this. I refrained but it was a near thing.

Alright... I *may* have fondled it a little. We're still on speaking terms so alls well that ends well. I had my pink heart shaped goggles going and was settling in to Cheech & Chong the fuck out of the Jutch fluff when the secret past plot twist came along and took this thing next level!

I love suspense and action and this had both, though I don't think they overwhelm the romance. Easton did a fantastic job of showing their connection and how gaga they are about each other with the dual POVs throughout the story while keeping the plot moving forward with the action. And when the thing happened in the basement when Jude thought Hutch was a mirage...

SQUEEEEEEEPLOSIONS! SQUEEEEEEEEPLOSIONS ERRRRYYYWHERE!!!!

More often than not I had a goofy smile on my face and even a few times fist pumped the air. Because I am a dork. Their exponential levels of cuteness are my only defense. Tis true I OD'd on the Jutch fluff throughout but the ending very nearly killed me to death.

What made this even greater was Solo's narration. He did distinct voices for all the characters with a spot on Hutch. Gawd, his Hutch was awesome-deep and rumbly. Mmmmphf. It makes for an all encompassing entertainment experience when the narrator has fun with the story and really brings it. Solo brought it and in so doing brought life to the Jutch fluff.

I do sincerely hope Easton writes another cracky fluff and if it involves Randy... *meaningful nodding* I will be a happy reader/listener if she does. Snowblind has climbed to the top of my cracky fluff faves list and I would recommend it to romance and audiobook fans.

Initially, I was a bit leary of the Dreamspun Desires line, thinking the series was going to be very formulaic, similar to the old Mills & Boon Harlequin romances. But after reading a handful of them, I grew to adore those quirky takes on traditional romance themes such as marriages of convenience or fake marriages, unexpected babies, etc. But Snowblind? Wow, I got lulled into expecting one thing with this book, and then got totally blindsided.

Take one secluded Alaskan cabin, a reclusive excessively security conscious guy (Hutch), a gorgeous male model (Jude) escaping from a boyfriend, add in a blizzard that strands them together for three gloriously dirty sex-filled days:
Hutch shifted around and tugged Jude’s pants back down. “I think we should just ban clothes for the duration.”
“Hmmm. Sounds cold but possibly worth it.” Jude’s breath hitched and he shut up when Hutch took his cock in hand.
There were worse ways to spend a blizzardy evening in Alaska than ending up in a sixty-nine on the kitchen floor. But Hutch would be damned if he could think of a single one that was better.
And it's all sexy fun and games and I'm already anticipating the angst and misunderstanding that will briefly tear them apart, only to pledge their love in a sweet HEA, until ...

Then holy shit ... stuff happens, and it happens fast and big and crazy. What's that saying about paranoia? Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you? And yeah, Hutch has been found out, Jude is not what he seems, there's danger all around, and ... I don't want to spoil anything, but Snowblind leaps out of the Dreamspun comfort zone in a big way and drags you along on a wild mission.

I highly recommend this book for sizzling hot chemistry, an unexpected plot twist and a HEA that is nothing like you might have initially imagined. 4.5 stars.

3.5 🌟 A hot frozen guy shows up at a grumpy guy’s house in the Alaska wilderness. They are completely snowed in. They have lots of sex, and they seem well on their way into insta love.

Ok. It’s sweet and sexy. I like it.

:::spoilers ahead:::

And then…BOOM! Bad guys everywhere, military weapons, murders, super secret missions. What just happened to the cute snowed in story? 😂 It was surprising, that’s for sure.

It was a fun ride. Probably would have been better as a full sized novel, to avoid the crazy bumps and smoothen the ride.

DNF @ 34%

I've only made it to 34% in my last two books. I blame it on In the Wreckage - its ruined me for all other books.

This one started out pretty good. Two men snowed in- in the mountains of Alaska. Some hot wall sex. But then the rest of the sex (that I read) was fade to black.

And then the "bad guys" showed up and I was like whaaaaaat? You lost me. Hutch's actions and reactions seemed a bit extreme. It took me out of the story and I never really got back in.

So yeah - another for the "I'm a Quitter" pile!

Consider me a bona fide Easton addict because I just can't get enough. Between her scrumptious characters, action packed adventures and smooth writing, she hits my buttons every time. This round she gives us a sexy spy and a 'retired' warrior on a thrilling ride. From beginning to end, it's dynamite.

Hutch is living off the grid. He's tucked away in the vast Alaskan frontier minding his own business until a half-frozen stranger stumbles onto his land. Hutch is immediately suspicious of Jude and his story but after a little investigating things appear to check out. Swept up in their lusty haze, he lets his guard down. And...Jude slips past his defenses. However, before he can contemplate the logistics of 'them' his fragile peace is shattered. Jude is definitely not the man Hutch thought he was or is he? When a man wears two faces, how can you determine which one is legit?

What's to like: From the very first page, I was hooked. The guys, their fierce connection, the story, it was all riveting. The air was heavy with danger and dramatic deadly stunts lured me in. Once the back story began to piece together, my heart ached. But I didn’t have time to get caught up in any sorrow, for things move too quickly. In general the pace was quite swift but I just held on tight with both hands and eagerly went along for the ride.

What's to love: I love it when you can feel the connection between characters. The pages buzz with the electrifying current between Hutch and Jude. I had absolutely no qualms about the speed in which they fall for one another. They both have a great deal to hide but when they are together all prefaces disappear and it’s just…them. Each allows the other into places previously forbidden. They are perfectly matched and oddly vulnerable and I couldn’t get enough of them. I raced through the pages with my heart pounding and my mouth-watering. The tender epilogue melted my heart. Besides being extremely erotic (hello wall sex) it was beautiful.

Beware of: Instalove. Or as I like to think of them as, suddenly struck. 3 days. They are snowbound for 3 days and it’s enough. I bought it. They questioned it and you might but I never did. Hutch is a rogue marine and though he would prefer to leave his fighting days behind him, he has no choice. Things get bloody.

This book is for: If sleeping with the enemy is your thing and you don’t mind fallen bodies and a bit of blood on your way to the sunset, prepare for a zero to sixty fall with these two mysterious men.

I thought this would a fairly predictable book. But about a third-way in, Easton throws in some big twists and turns and the plot really took off. It was a gamble to take the book in the direction the author chose to, but overall I think it was pulled off pretty well.

The first third of the book is what you would expect.

Hutch, a solitary and taciturn man, has a suspicious nature, but he can’t deny how attractive Jude is. Hutch comes off as a hard man at first, but underneath he’s a big old softie.

We don’t get Jude’s POV at first, so it’s a bit harder to figure him out. But it’s clear that he’s more than willing to drop his pants for Hutch.

The two try to keep it professional at first, but that doesn’t last long. The sex was killer. Hutch likes it rough, and Jude gives as good as he gets. The wall sex was a bonus!

description

The romance is borderline insta-love. Once the two give into their bodies’ urges, their hearts follow quickly. Ordinarily, I’m not a fan of insta-love, but this is a Dreamspun Desires book, so I could overlook that. Plus, I felt that the two really did belong together.

So the book’s moving along in a fluffy manner when Easton decides to mix things up. I’m not going to give away too much, but I’ll say that if you were looking for a slow and easy book, this isn’t it.

Because out of nowhere we get weapons stockpiles, a conspiracy, and loads of drama and secrets. And gunfights. Lots of gunfights.

description

And through it all, Hutch and Jude prove that what’s between them wasn’t just the result of temporarily being snowed in. They do get their HEA, and it’s exactly the sweet and fluffy kind I’d expect from a Dreamspun Desires book.

‘Snowblind’ ended up being very different from what I was expecting, but it was still a fun read. At times the plot was a bit too trope-y and cheesy for my liking, but overall I got the hot sex and fluffy ending that I was looking for.

I’m not the most diligent blurb reader. Lots of times I am looking a book up because it has come across my feed or I’ve heard of it some other way. Sometimes I’m looking at a book because I’ve searched for a theme of some sort and the book is a result of that theme. Blurbs usually get a skim from me so I can get an idea but most of my focus after I get the gist is on my friends thoughts, the cover (shoot me) and whether it is KU.

I found this book by searching “Alaskan Romances”, saw Eli Easton, saw it was a stranded in the snow sort of story and I was all in.

Oh my! This was not a cozy romance like I expected. This book was way more than a romance, this was like watching a movie. Really, I thought I was going to get a sweet wintery cabin romance, boy was I surprised when it was as far from that as it could be. Surprised but not upset at all.

This was a great story, way more serious than I thought, at times even a little difficult to read, but very, very good. Like I said, it was like an action filled movie.

I wasn’t even disappointed it didn’t end up being an “Alaskan Romance” haha! I actually totally forgot that was even what I was looking for.

Good stuff.

Joder... Ya no sabe una cómo decirlo.

Gosh! I'm tired. The tension reading this book, washed by the great epilogue, and I'm relieved.
But the journey...it was not I expected from a Dreamspun Desires series.
Glad I read this one. Mesmerized by Hutch and Jude's journey, I finished the book with a happy smile.

All the time after 'everything' revealed, I was having a tension on my back, keep wondering and worrying about what's going to happen after...?
I thought, this was going to reach my hard limit and was sure I cannot stomach it.
Glad that my worries didn't happen. I was really really really relieved!
But then..some of my worries came back with a different stage of worries, what if...?
I felt like I was watching a suspense movie with my two heroes in the term of a little bit more close to the point, they're not gonna make it!
I was seriously had this neck tense, you know what I mean? LOL.
Or maybe I was taking this too serious.
This is a Dreamspun Desires after all, and Eli Easton!
Of course we're going to have a HEA. Silly me.
But seriously, you need to prepare for this one, it's not as sweet and easy as I expected. Far from it.
But the tension is worth it, I guess.

Highly recommended. Buy this book! I mean, seriously, buy!

During a snowstorm, Jude, a model, is rescued by Hutch, ex-marine, glad to have some company. They are stranded in Hutch’s house for a few days and poker games and watching movies are not enough to make time goes and “love is in the air”. Follow then some events : honor, deceit, blackmail,…

The plot was alright, but I was disappointed by the lack of chemistry. The BAM factor showed its ugly head. Entertaining, but not much more for me, and far from the enjoyment I had when reading other books from this author.

So, I went into this book thinking this was going to be what the blurb indicated - a fluffy, feel-good story of two strangers in a snowstorm, one rescuing the other from freezing to death in the Alaskan wilderness, and they live happily ever after.

Right?

WRONG!!!

Well, this story had those elements, and with this being a book in the Dreamspun Desires series, they do live happily ever after in the end, but holy moly, there was a whole lot more to this book than just that.

Intrigue, deception, undercover stuff, espionage, threats, blackmail, mindfucks, danger, terrorists - you name, it's got it. Also mindfucks. Did I mention the mindfucks?

Hutch is an ex-soldier whose previous work in covert ops and experiences have him sleeping on an arsenal of weaponry. When he sleeps. Which isn't much. He lives in a secluded cabin away from the more civilized world, and he likes it that way. He also helps with rescuing stupid tourists from getting snowed-in and getting lost in the wilderness, but he keeps to himself. For reasons.

During a snowstorm, a sexy stranger shows up on his doorstep, imitating an icicle, and Hutch, not being an asshole, brings him in to warm up.

And warm up, if you know what I mean, they do. There's kissing and UST and more kissing and sexy times, and then you get to 60% and you're like WTF just happened?

That's all I'll tell you, because you should read this book for yourself. There's darkness and light, and there's love and sex and fear and danger, and I really don't want to spoil the experience for you.

Eli Easton has written a masterful novel that kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved every minute I spend reading it.

3.5 stars rounded down to 3 because still no 1/2 stars here on GR and this one just didn't have what it took to be a 4 star story for me.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

I was a little disappointed with this one. Not that it wasn't good...it was. I guess I was expecting to like it a lot more than I did.

The blurb for this book reads like a sweet, sexy snowed in story and it was until it turned into a whole lot more and I have to admit this was actually one of the best parts of this story for me. I loved the extra suspense we got when this became more of an action/thriller type story.

Hutch is ex-military and he lives in isolation in the Alaskan wilds. It's what he wants, so needless to say he's pretty surprised when he finds an attractive man half frozen on his front porch one afternoon. But he's not about to leave said man outside to freeze to death so he takes him in and offers him shelter during a snowstorm.

Spending a few days cooped up in Hutch's cabin with the sexy, surly man isn't anything that Jude really finds to be a hardship. Needless to say it's close quarters when there's no place to go so the sexual tension builds and neither man is really putting up a lot of resistance so things get toasty warm fairly quickly between these two men.

Unfortunately once the storm ends Hutch quickly figures out that maybe his lost traveler wasn't as lost as he seemed. Once Hutch starts to realize what's happening his warm feelings towards Jude cool off real fast and things get colder than a snowstorm again as far as he's concerned.

I honestly can't say I didn't like the writing because hey, it's Eli Easton and I'm totally a fan of this author. But somehow I just didn't feel a connection to the story. As much as I liked the turn that it took I started to feel like events were a bit on the predicable side and maybe it's because I've read a few stories like this over the past while. I really can't say for sure but while I enjoyed it, I just didn't find myself really feeling invested in the story so for me it was an ok, listening experience but not great.

John Solo did the narration for this one and it was good. His voices were solid and expressive. There was a kid in this one but thankfully her part was very, very small so at least there was no real issue there for me and I have to admit I think this one was probably a story that worked better for me in audio format than it would have been as an e-book so there was that.

Maybe I needed someone to blow more sh*t up because I am a fan of blow sh*t up stories...kidding...I know a number of my friends really liked this one so seriously don't just take my word for it check out a few other reviews you may find you really like this one.

This was really fun and full of intense twists and turns. At first the story really made me think of A Changeling Christmas and I felt sure it was set in the same universe but I think it isn't (correct me if I'm wrong). I really liked both MCs and the plot (that I can't really say anything about). The relationship development felt fast but not insta either. I really liked the epilogue. A fun, quick and hot read

I normally enjoyed Eli Easton's works, and I was in the mood for something fluffy, romantic, with a tiny dose of angst. It WAS all THAT + a lonely cabin in the woods of Alaska, FBI intrigues, an undercover case, hot sex and an excellent narrator. Maybe it was a material for a longer book, maybe it was not my kind of story, but I had more eye-rolls moments than I would like.
The MCs fell very rapidly for each other for my taste, it was a bit too much drama around and a way too long sex scenes for the length of the book. One extra star for John Solo for his narrating skills.

I wasn't bad. I just didn't really feel the MCs chemistry. I ended up skimming a bit. Truth is, I need longer novels to really get into the characters. So, maybe just a me thing with this one.

Tropey? Why yes, yes it was. Oh, but it was delicious.

Alaskan wilderness, snow, cold, a cabin and a warm fire. Two men whom the author takes great pains to describe to the reader in every possible, drool worthy way.

An interesting premise. I didn’t roll my eyes not even once, I swear I didn’t. Make me smile and chuckle a bit? Hell yes.

So. We have this building romance and KABOOM!

Suddenly, it’s a Tom Clancy novel. So very, very cool. And well written, and fun and exciting and suspenseful and cool and, oh, I said that already. You get the idea.

Then? We relax back into some fun-filled tropiness till the story reaches its satisfying conclusion ala A Few Good Men.

I loved the unexpectedness of it.

Our guys with their ‘orgasm high.’

Oorah!!!

4 stars – The fact that I have a little experience with both Dreamspinner Press’s Dreamspun Desires series and books written by Eli Easton, I had a pretty good idea in mind for what to expect when I picked up Snowblind: a fluffy, sweet, feel-good romance with a little angst (realistic angst too, because Eli Easton always gives me that). Then, 28% of the way in the story, the surprise happened. It turned the story on its head, turned it into something I was in no way expecting. And it was a good thing.

The story starts with a nearly frozen stranger named Jude appearing at Hutch’s secluded cabin at the onset of a blizzard. Jude claims to be on a ski vacation but needed to escape from his domineering boyfriend, but the past that Hutch is running from fills him with distrust, leaving him incapable of believing that someone as interesting and hot as Jude—he is a male model, after all—could be interested in him, despite the fact that Jude’s not being subtle in his flirting. Three days of blizzard where Hutch slowly lets his guard down and lets himself believe that maybe there could be a future with Jude…

And that’s when we get the twist. While I don’t think that knowing the twist beforehand would have kept me from reading the story, I’m still only going to hint at it because it’s just too good a surprise that you should experience it for yourself. What I will say is there is plenty of suspense, danger, secrets, and intrigue. And gunfire, and perhaps a double-cross… but you didn’t hear that from me.

There’s also a great happily-ever-after. But for me, it was a little bittersweet, because as good a pairing as I think this is, I really wanted to feel it more. There’s plenty of kissing and good sex scenes, things I expect when I’m reading an Eli Easton novel, but remember that I said the twist was at 28%? Basically the entire relationship-building portion of the novel happens in that first chunk. After that, it’s like a completely different story involving the guys. I definitely enjoyed both facets of the story, but I would have loved more in the front half to get my feelings up to a good place before the story turned.

That being said, I still recommend Snowblind because it really is a good read. I truly appreciate when authors whose work I’ve grown to love take me for an unexpected ride, and Eli Easton definitely did that for me with this title. And even though there’s plenty of excitement in the novel, it fit well in the Dreamspun Desires series because it was still an easy and fast read. More than the others I’ve read, though, this one kept me turning pages because I couldn’t wait to see how it ended.

The author and/or publisher generously provided me a complimentary copy of Snowblind in exchange for this fair and honest review.
