I read this sweet little treat today on my lunch break at work. It was safe, steamy and sweet with no angst. Definitely hit the spot for me!

Carly and Carter were perfect together. Carly was too feisty for me and she annoyed me at the beginning but she got better. I adored Carter he was possessive and jealous and that was so cute! I just enjoy a jealous hero! Epilogue was sweet and steamy. Short but super adorable read. Love this series can’t wait for the third novella. C.M Steele is flawless.

OMG This is an amazing following to Sweet Surprise. This is Carly’s story and she is Blake’s sister. We met him in bk 1 where he found love with Amelia. In “Doctor's Orders, Sweetheart” we get to read Carly’s story and find out more about her love interest who we got a brief glimpse in bk1. Carly and Carter had this sweet, sexy and steamy story that shows how their love came to be and the rocky road to true love. This story I have been eagerly waiting for and it was all that and then some. Carter is a good man, alpha in all ways and deeply in love with Carly. Carly is young, sweet and a bit naïve when it comes to men… only she wasn’t looking for love, love found her. The plot is tight, the characters are fascinating and the action fantastic. I am eagerly awaiting bk 3 in this series.

I've been waiting for this one to come out since the first book of the series, Sweetheart's Treats, "Sweet Surprise", and I'm stoked it finally came out :)
Carly and Carter have great chemistry ;) Carter is one hell of an alpha and also a good and caring doctor :) <3
I loved how he wanted to care for Carly, even when she's stubborn and she definitely was stubborn... Carter even took measures into ensuring that their life together started immediately, even Carly's parents were in the scheme of planning their marriage without Carly's knowledge of her actually being engaged and marrying ;)
Carly could be stubborn just like Carter so these two were made for one another :) <3
I loved the epilogues so much <3 Even as the years passed, Carter still was possessive as hell and Carly definitely enjoyed the benefits ;)
I can't wait for the next book in the series that's probably Tracy and Amalie's dad, who's an older, silver fox sheriff ;) Can't wait to read about him, sexy single dad finally getting his happily ever after with his woman, Tracy <3 <3, and his daughter already reached her happily ever after with her Blake and their kids <3 <3

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this yummy book from C.M. Steele. I’m sure you’ve read Sweet Surprise so you’re familiar with Blake Reynolds and Amelia, well this book features Blake’s younger sister, Carly who also happens to be Amelia’s boss. Carly Reynolds is 21 years old and she’s just left Houston to open Sweetheart’s Treats, her bakery in Palace, Texas. The small town hasn’t had a bakery in over ten years so Carly’s tasty treats are sure to have the customers lining up. Dr. Carter James is the head of Pediatrics at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Houston. He’s bewitched by Carly who volunteers in the children’s ward of his hospital every Sunday but she seems to despise him. He is very over protective of her but she thinks he’s treating her like a child. Carter’s Mom knows all about his interest in Carly so she visits Sweetheart’s Treats and gushes about her son to the lovely shop owner. It’s not long before Carter is tired of waiting for Carly and he makes his move. This book was so sweet and I laughed my butt off at the way Carly handled Tyler (Amelia’s creepy ex-boss/stalker).

This was a fast pace quick enjoyable read why is it a 3 star i wish WISH IT WAS LONGER!!!! And well Carter could have ton down the overprotectiveness lol just atad

I liked, but didn't love it. Not sure why really. Just a little push/pull in the beginning with a misunderstanding, didn't last long. Good read.

This was a good, very quick, steamy and sweet read. I love C.M. Steele, I just wish these stories were a little longer and a little more in depth. I really enjoyed Carter and Carly, they were good characters who would have been great in a longer setting.

This is a story about Carly and Carter. Carly was introduced in the previous book, Sweet surprise. We also briefly met Carter. Carter is a pediatric doctor in the hospital Carly volunteers at. He instantly wants her & has a possessive need to protect her, but she misinterprets this. Carly is drawn to him, but feels like he picks on her & treats her like a child so she does her best to avoid him at all times. That quickly changes after he gets an opportunity to explain his actions.
I enjoyed this story more than Blake and Amelia’s. I felt they had more chemistry & their relationship wasn’t as insta everything. I’m still hoping for a story about Amelia’s father, the sheriff.

DOCTOR'S ORDERS, SWEETHEART is the third standalone novella under The Sweetheart's Treats Series, a sweet and delightful love story about Doctor Carter and Carly, a feisty and stubborn bakery owner. I first met them in Sweet Surprise, Book One under this series, and from then on I was intrigued and excited to read about them. And I wasn't disappointed. I enjoyed this novella! Carter was one sexy obsessive alpha-male and kindhearted doctor. I'm loving this series by the author and I can't wait to read the next book!

We first met Carly in the previous book as the bakery owner who got sick. And when something happened to her brother she went to hospital where we see her having a little bit of a tiff with a certain Doctor...
Carter is a pediatrician and he wants Carly. Carter seems to be so infatuated with Carly that when he speaks to her it doesn't come out the way he wants to and thus her thinking that he doesn't like her and treats her like a child.
But as their misunderstanding clear up, the Romance heats up between these two, but as with everything it seems that fate has more obstacles to throw in their way.

I looked forward to reading Carly and Carter's story after being introduced to them in book one of the series. Their story sounded like it would be entertaining, to say that after reading Doctor's Orders, Sweetheart would be an understatement. This book was amazing, it was funny, sweet and enjoyable. There were plenty of sweet swoony moments, along with moments that had me laughing loudly. The banter and development of their relationship was extremely pleasurable. Another 5 star read from the talented C.M Steele. Cannot wait for the next book in this series.

Loved this addition to the series. Carter and Carly were made for each other. Even though Carly didn’t realize it Carter was doing whatever he could to show his feelings for Carly, even though sometimes it doesn’t come across like he might think. Carly has an instant attraction to Carter, but him treating her like she is incompetent is really getting on her nerves. When these two finally come together it is so Sweet and Sexy! Can’t wait to see what CM comes up with next.

Usually not a fan of Doctor reads. Guess I have a jaded opinion of most of them since I work around them hah! But...I did enjoy this quickie read! Carter was amazingly sweet and I loved how they knew each other for 6 months and got off on the wrong foot. It's funny how first/second/third impressions can be misinterpreted by one person when you don't really know them. Carly was such a little firecracker it was fun to watch! Wish this had been longer! Hopefully we get the story of Tracy and Amelia's dad.....maybe??? lol

This story is short, fast paced and sweet. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. I have been eager to read Carly and Carter’s story since hearing about them in Amelia and Blake’s story. I liked how stubborn Carly was and how over protective Carter was of her. The chemistry between Carly and Carter was clear to see. I really liked them as a couple.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

This is a very short and quick read. Finished it in only an hour.
The idea of the story really intrigued me. Because a hot pediatric doctor is so my type 😍
So I knew I had to read this one ASAP.
But everything goes too fast and I kinda lost of track...
Maybe I should've read the first book first, because some parts are pretty confusing 😐
Although on the bright side, it has no stupid drama.
So it was just an okay read for me.

60 pages of a nice story, but on fast-forward. She was a virgin and the very first time they had sex he said he wanted to get her pregnant.
Novellas aren't my thing. I'm close to saying i hate them, just because everything is rushed and it ruins everything.
I loved the alpha in the hero, the fact that he knew what he wanted and wasn't afraid to take it.

I love a story with a baker and it’s even better when their is a doctor. This book was worth the little wait, and I loved when the Doctor’s caveman side came out. Since this alpha man showed more “caveman “ to me, I can hardly wait for the sheriff’s story.

Talk about a hot and steamy. This book has everything a sexy male doctor . A sweet as sugar woman who owns a bakery and volunteers at the hospital. When they get together their emotions are all over the place. Don’t know what to do with it but take action.
