“This book was awesome. I really like the world that the author has built, it’s interesting and the story flows well in it. There were some unexpected turns towards the end of the book that I was not expecting but I am glad the author did it because it makes his work stand out even more.” – Amazon Reviewer

“All the feels. I really love the premise of the story. The idea that hopeful kids wanted to be heroes, but later decided to take one single step back. Interesting mechanics with the classes and such as well. Great read.” – Amazon reviewer

Enjoyed the story more than expected

This was the kind of story I enjoyed a lot more than I had initially expected to. The story had highs and lows, but it ended on an emotional note with real consequences.

I feel like that is missing from many stories, a consequence for poor choices - or a bad situation just happening. Sometimes people just... have bad things happen to them.

I’m either case it added to the story, which is an intriguing look at someone interested in starting a guildhouse for heroes rather than being one, and sometimes being willing to help people for no reason other than altruism can be worth it.

Book one

Mistakes: There are more than a handful scattered throughout the book. Mostly is word tenses used incorrectly.
The author is improving the more he writes, which I'm glad to see. Keep improving!
Plot: Interesting plot lines overall. There are some dry, boring bits to get through. I'd like to see a second book just to see where the author takes the story.
Characters: Not had and you can see what is going to happen to the best friend from miles away. Kinda sucked because he was a likable character, but it needed to happen.
7/10 Keep improving!

Couldn't finish

This book was boring. Even the action sequences were boring.

It felt like this was a high school writing assignment. Have x number of the word 'racist' to prove you are woke. State the objective of the MC x number of times. Most of this book read like a 'Dick and Jane' or a 'See Spot run' book.

As other reviewers noted many instances of missing and wrong words.

Good book

I actually like the thought behind this book. I've always thought about what would happen if I got swept into an mmo. I wouldent be a fighter or a mage but maybe a guild leader. This was a neat book and I look forward to the next.

An epic coming of age fantasy gamelit.

An interesting take on a classic setting. The characters are relatable. The plot was surprising. I would recommend to fans of fantasy and gamelit.

It doesn't know what it is

The story is interesting and the premise is promising, but it suffers from not knowing what type of story it wants to be.

I might pickup the next book.

Good book

It was a fairly well written book and a major step up from his previous books, has some nice twists and seems fairly consistent.
