“A kiss was all I needed.”
“Looks like you got what you wished for.”
“Yes. About that…”

I was supposed to find a finely dressed businessman, have a one-night stand and forget about my failed relationship. Instead, I meet Tanner Sexton—a gorgeous man in street clothes, messy hair and the sexiest smile I’ve ever seen.

When my ex shows up at the bar, Tanner notices my panic and kisses me just so the prick can see. Then he takes off, leaving me breathless.

So, I do what any rational person would. I chase after him onto the subway, and embark on a wild night in New York City with a complete stranger.

No matter how much I fight it, this mysterious artist painted his soul onto my skin, and I haven’t been able to forget him. Our romance is one for the ages, but age isn’t the only thing standing in our way.

When I was little, my mom was part of the Double Day book club. She had piles and piles of books lying around the house; most of them with Fabio-esque men and a scantily clad woman set in a different century. I made up stories in my head just from looking at the covers.

When I as 9, I wrote stories using my best friend as a muse. They were romances...but for the 9-year-old. She was the only one who read them.

When I was 14, another friend gave me a Marian Keyes novel. I fell in-love with her wit, and humor with a dark side. This was my first experience with realistic fiction.

When I was 19, Nicholas Sparks forever changed my views on relationships. I learned what true love could be beautiful and difficult at the same time. I wanted it.

When I was 22, Jeannette Wells made me feel more emotion from an autobiographical novel than I thought possible. I wanted to be her.

When I was 30, Jamie McGuire and Colleen Hoover introduced me to the world of self-publishing. For the first time I thought: I could give this a try someday.

When I was 32, my someday came.

Tanner, the baby brother in the Sexton media empire made up of three boys, their disconnected father, and a dastardly stepmother, is nearing the end of his college years in New York City. It is time for his return to San Francisco, to the threats of selling and the gaping loss of his mother. He knows he'll leave behind his art, his creativity, and his sense of self. He doesn't plan on meeting a girl though, a beautiful muse that makes him crazy, that makes him paint, that makes him fall in love and want to stay.

Harper wants to help the world one fifth grader at a time, falling in love after such a difficult breakup just isn't in her cards, at least not until a man in jeans and a man bun grabs her attention in a room of suits. He kisses with passion, without expectations, and then he leaves her behind. Harper doesn't take risks, but she does on Tanner and the gamble pays off. Their romance is easy when they aren't overthinking and as they tumble together they believe nothing could hold them back. Nothing except San Francisco, Tanner's place in the company, and the secrets buried deep.

"Take me where you go when you want to run away from the world."

Tanner is a standalone, featuring the youngest Sexton brother. Each of the novels starts roughly around the same time, each brother finding a woman and revealing their personal experience with the loss of their mother and the media empire they now partially own. Since I read these in order like a series, my perspective might vary from someone who reads these individually. I think they are excellent either way, but Tanner is my absolute favorite, because it answers questions that have carried over from each book. What is their father's motives for selling? Why is Missy so involved in it all? And what really happened all those years ago?

Of course, the majority of the books focus on the romance between the brothers and their respective partners. Tanner, at just 22, and Harper, 30, are like two magnets that join together in a snap. They share lust, frenzied passion, an appreciation for art, and respect for one another far beyond material needs. There is age drama and there is a fear of love and the next step, yet they each dive in, with Tanner being Harper's guiding light. He cherishes her, he is patient with her, and he trusts her despite everything in his life that says trust shouldn't be so easy. They complement one another, they are the perfect match, and the first 50% of the book, their meet cute and chemistry, won me over completely.

I loved Tanner, it is the book and the brother I will revisit again and again. The story is so perfect, with just the right amount of family and business drama mixed in with the romance. I also really enjoyed seeing all the brothers together, they're unforgettable individuals and as a standalone, or read as a series like I did, they're all heroes you have to meet. Plus, their ladies aren't so bad; they're all mature, successful, and professional heroines that have met their perfect match. There's no saving the princess here, just relationships that take work and love and growth. If you're looking for a realistic romance, Tanner is the Sexton brother to meet.

'”Are you ready to rewrite your story?”'

♥ Tanner alias Thor was probably the hottest man of the Sexton brothers. I’m not sure though if he could kick Bryce from the top because he’d set the bar very high. But they were so different from each other, not only by age but also their characteristics, and I am a greedy woman so I just want them both. =P

description
'He's a gorgeous, expressive, talented, soul-igniting man who set me on fire.'

I absolutely loved how passionate and caring Tanner was. He was so smart and very talented with his body and mind, so very special with his creativity and art. He swept me off my feet and I was like melting chocolate in his hands. I envied Harper for how lucky she was because I'd have given anything to have him paint me. =P SO HOT! #favorite
'I've never in my life been kissed with as much passion and conviction as I just was by a complete stranger.'

description

I devoured this book. It completely enchanted me and had me feeling all the feels. I wasn’t sure if my heart could take any more because Tanner was like the most perfect hero. This story was so perfectly written, it had me swooning, laughing, crying, and most of all falling in love with its characters.

I'm going to miss these brothers so much.

description

The story had me captured right from the start. I loved how Harper and Tanner met at the bar without the cliché pick-up lines and intentions of an easy lay. I loved how unexpected and magical their unforgettable evening turned out to be.
'This man can caress me so intimately, caressing me with his kisses and touches, loving me with his glances and words.'

Tanner studied in New York because he loved the freedom that nobody knew him here, whereas back at home his wealthy family was well known due to their successful media company.
I loved how mature he was for his age and that he and Harper fit together so well. I was also very happy about the setting outside of San Francisco because the previous two books had been set around the company and all the drama going on with the family. So I was very glad that Tanner and Harper could find to each other almost without much influence from all the family drama for a while. If you've read the previous two books, you'll know what I’m talking about, and if you’re new to this world, then hold on tight because this drama had its heartbreaking showdown in this book.
The ending broke my heart for the boys and I cried so hard. But I loved the epilogue which was a fantastic ending to this amazing series.
'He has a powerful presence, yet, when I'm this close, I can see a vulnerability to him.'

I'm a huge Friends fan myself, so I loved all the references in this book. I also had an instant connection with Harper’s character because of it.
'We're two strangers on a train, knowing that whatever we decide in the next moment might dictate our fate for the rest of our lives.'

I don't even know what else to say. I was flipping through the book again to help me find some words for my review but all I could do was admire the beautiful words that were written. So all I can say is read this book! Even if you haven't read the previous ones (although you really miss out on some great stories), you need to pick up this wonderful book.

I hope these authors will co-write more books together because they definitely created magic with this one.

Actually, I wasn't going to continue reading this series as Book 1 and Book 2 didn't impress me but then, I remembered that Book 3 TANNER was my reason to start this series. Being the organized girl I am, I wanted to read them in order but Book 3 was actually the one I was obsessed with at the beginning. So, I thought, reading Book 1 and 2 but skipping Book 3 would be unfair to my own prior decision to read this book so I decided to give this book a shot.

I am so glad I did because this third book was way better than Book 1 and 2...

*********************************************

3,75 stars rounded up to 4

*********************************************

Tanner is 22, Harper is 30 years old so if you don't like a younger hero, then maybe this is not the book for you. Harper has some hesitation about her own age and tries to break up with him but then her feelings win as they are very strong.

Tanner is an artist. He looks like Thor with his man bun and blond hair, blue eyes etc.

Harper is an elementary school teacher. She is a cute blonde with blue eyes.

The way they meet is a good one. The way they bond is even better. I loved how they clicked, how they made each other's world better. Their connection was both emotional and sensual. I felt their chemistry and I believed in their feelings for each other. Unlike the first two books, this third one made me feel!

The book is written in dual point of view and it is 300 pages. The repetition in Book 2 was very disturbing but the repetition in this book was so very little, which was good.

*********************************************

Up until page 230, I enjoyed my time with the book and the couple because their romance was adorable but at page 230, the book turned into a bit of a suspense story.

Actually, at around page 230, they get married and have their HEA and the last 70 pages is the resolution of the Sexton family drama. I would have preferred it continued as their own romance because I could never get enough of them but alas, it had to continue with family business with a bit of suspense.

Although the family drama in Book 1 and 2 was boring, this one was at least interesting as it led to somewhere I wasn't expecting.

Out of all the books in the series, this was definitely the best regarding the story, the romance and the characters. Although it wasn't an epic one, it was a good enough romance to make me happy.

*********************************************

Safety:

As for safety, I would say it is totally safe with no cheating.

A girl hits on him when they are apart for a short time and he rejects her.

The only thing that bothered me is that she never asked him if he slept with her although she heard it from someone that he went to a girl's house who he was friends with at school. Maybe this is what happens when a book is co-written, one thinks the other has written about it and it just slips away from their minds totally... I don't know. Surely, it was in her mind - the "what if he slept with her" question but she never asked. Only, we knew, as readers, that he rejected her advances and left her house.

Additionally, a few times, her ex-boyfriend causes minor drama but nothing happens with him, he is just a scum-bag!

*********************************************

Additional information about the couples in Books 1 and 2:

The couples of Book 1 and Book 2 get their HEA here in this book. One gets married and the heroine is pregnant and the other couple decide to get married.

*********************************************

Some QUOTES I loved...

His eyes stare into mine. My breath hitches as he enters my soul, searching for an answer to a question he hasn’t even asked.

***

“Some people believe chocolate is better than sex.”
“I concur,” she replies.
I lean my elbow on the bar and hover close to her ear. “Then, they’re not being properly f*cked.”

***

Not all romances end in love.
Thank you for our story.
I’m sorry I ended it before the chapter was over.

***

“You said, ‘We don’t get to choose our family. We only get to choose who we love.’ You were wrong. I didn’t choose to love you. This love chose me. It hit me like a ton of bricks the moment you fought me outside the subway turnstile. It seeped into my skin every second since until my entire body was consumed. It’s brilliant and scary as hell.”

Her eyes glaze over, and she reaches over to lay her hand on my cheek. I grab it and kiss her palm.

“I might not know what’s going on with my family or our business, but I do know that I don’t want to figure life out without you. Because you are my family. You, Harper Doyle, are my family. I choose you. I want a life with you. I want you by my side. I want to live this life with you. Fight with you. Make love to you. Create life with you.”

I’m a huge fan of Lauren Runow and Jeannine Colette writing as a duo, especially when it involves the Sexton Brothers, a series that I absolutely adore. Tanner is the third and final book in the series, and I’ve been not so patiently waiting for the chance to read it, so when it landed on my kindle, I devoured it.

Tanner was like a breath of fresh air. He was so different from his brothers—I was not expecting to love him the way I did, and as much as I loved Bryce, I think I found my soulmate in Tanner.

Tanner & Harper's story certainly wasn't what I thought it would be—it was as romantic as it was heart-clenching. The authors managed a trope that was not my favorite, so it took me a bit longer to get through, but once I fell in love with Tanner, it was like a switch went off and I couldn't put it down. The butterflies in my stomach went crazy every time Tanner and Harper were together!

I'm not going to say much about the story—other than it was what I was expecting from this writing duo, a dreamy hero, a lovable heroine, mesmerizing chemistry, and a story full of a swoony romance, smiles, heartbreak, and family love—I swear to you, you’ll want to meet these brothers.

I'm sad to say goodbye to these characters but happy to have met them ♥. Hoping Lauren and Jeannine will collaborate again in the future!

Dreamy, dreamy Tanner Sexton. Sorry Bryce and Austin, but Tanner has now taken my heart - sigh. A man who is smart, artistic, has an old soul and doesn't wear his ego on his sleeve - big sigh again♥.

As an heir to the Sexton Media empire, Tanner has every reason to throw around his name, his power, and his money to get what he wants, instead he had chosen to do just the opposite. He moved across country to attend school and live the life of an ordinary student without the status, money, and influence that everyone would expect.  Tanner wanted a few years to be just plain Tanner before he returned home where he would begin working at the family business where the Sexton name would hang over his head for the rest of his life.

I loved that Tanner is the opposite of both of his brothers in pretty much every way, yet he is still linked to them by the bond of losing their mother and the huge business that she worked so hard to build. Tanner is the youngest of the three and has always felt like the baby in how his family treats him. He is incredibly smart and understands business, but he also has a beautiful, artistic soul. He is instrumental in keeping his family together more than either of his two brothers actually realize, probably even more than Tanner himself actually realizes. There is so much to the young man I feel you could peel back a new layers and there is still more to learn about him.

Now let's talk about Harper and how she changes everything. Harper is a school teacher who has recently come out of a long term, yet crappy, relationship. She meets Tanner in a bar one evening and their worlds collide in the most amazing way. She asks him to let her into his dream and boy, does he ever. Their romance is a whirlwind, but it isn't just Tanner that sweeps Harper off her feet. Tanner also falls fast and hard.

My heart continually was beating right out my chest as I was falling right along with Tanner and Harper. I am so in love with them I could have kept reading their story forever.

Their romance sizzles right off the page, but there is only one little snag in their potential future, the nasty business of Sexton Media which is calling Tanner's name (literally). How can he choose between Harper and his family? Why can't he be a no named artist living his life who simply falls in love with a beautiful girl?

This book can be read as a standalone, but there are two other brothers who, until I met Tanner, I was madly in love with, sorry boys, Tanner now owns my heart ♥.

I wasn't too sure about this book when I started it. At first, Harper appeared to be whiney and Tanner came across as the same rich man whore I've read about at least 100 times. I was so absolutely wrong!

The story flowed smoothly and easily. It didn't take too long to realize this is a book with substance. Yes, it has lots of sexy scenes, but you can feel all of the emotions these characters are going through. It's not just sex with this book. It's the connection between Harper and Tanner.

These characters are so multifaceted and so simple at the same time. I absolutely loved them both. Harper is strong, loving and real. Tanner had so many layers and was so well written I fell head over heels for him!! There are so many interesting and intriguing sides to this man!

I can not speak highly enough about this book. It has everything a book should have: deep emotions that make you feel and substance that makes the story real. There is also suspense that will keep you guessing. This is hands down a MUST one click!

These Sexton brothers grab hold of your entire being and never let go. Each one of these men now now a special place in my heart, hearing Tanner and Harper’s story was so down to earth and after reading both Austin and Bryce’s stories (you don’t need to read them first in order to understand Tanner’s) I feel like I’m part of this family. Being the “baby brother” just tells us that he’s the youngest, Tanner has the biggest heart. Harper is a bit further along in life but when she lets her walls down and just lived in the moment she gets to experience things she’s never considered before. This story is heartfelt and heartbreaking, a story filled with both romance and suspense. These two authors have done a wonderful job on creating a story, a series that you’ll enjoy and never forget.

Tanner, Tanner, Tanner...oh, what am I going to do with you? I've read Austin, but not Bryce, I know...what-why? So stupid...I don't know what I was thinking either, I will rectify this situation, don't you worry your pretty little heads about that!

This was a fun one for me. Tanner sort of reminded me of a guy I knew in high school. Well, other than the rich with a psycho step mama part, well...maybe, but I didn't know him *that* well. Anyway, I digress...the point of my little tangent was that, his old soul vibe appealed to me in a major way. And Harper, I loved her character, even though she was insecure at times...I LOVED her. She made some shit decisions, but man, I really liked her.

What the writing duo of Jeannine Colette and Lauren Runow have is a seamless connection that stretches beyond the page. It seeps into the consciousness of their characters and makes you believe what they're writing about. Even though it's so far removed from my own life, I cared about them...their trials, their tribulations, their outlying characters even. It's noteworthy that I became that invested.

I cared about them so much, I had to get the lowdown on the playlist... Yep, I made a Spotify playlist. I believe it will be included when the book goes live. You're welcome, world. I have to have the tunes. It's important.

Because the book hasn't been released yet, I'm going to hold off on any snippets because I really don't want to spoil anything...just know, you're going to love this one. 4 stars.

"We're two strangers on a train, knowing that whatever we decide in the next moment might dictate our fate for the rest of our lives."

Tanner, the youngest Sexton brother claimed my heart like he created a painting. Each word, thought, action was a brushstroke painting my soul in different colors.

Lauren Runow and Jeannine Colette are an author tandem that should be awarded. Together they create wonderful stories, that you not only enjoy reading, but bring characters to life so vividly that you can't help falling for them.

"Maybe I just want to forget reality tonight. I want to live in your dream."

Tanner is an old soul, he's wise beyond his years and reading about him you simply get caught in his charm, wondering what's going through his mind. You want more of Tanner with each page you turn. He's such a beautiful man inside out. I'm drawn to him like a moth to the flame and I wish for my very own Tanner in real life.

Harper's soul feels very close to my own. Reading about her was for me like looking in a mirror. That made it pretty easy to connect with her, to feel with her and to admire how she handled the obstacles thrown her way.

The authors created a place between time and space where Harper and Tanner connect beautifully on a level that's pretty rare. The way they let those characters express themselves and the way they grow together gave me a feeling of warmth and happiness. Reading this book I had a constant smile on my face.

"She makes me feel like a god, yet I am just a man, here to serve his queen."

Tanner is a perfect conclusion to the Sexton Brothers series. It's a reading experience that plays the strings of your soul randomly, yet still will always finds the perfect harmony.

"Tanner doesn't kiss with his lips. He kisses with his entire being."

OMG I am so deeply and hopelessly in love with Tanner Sexton! ♥

Tanner is the youngest of the Sexton brothers and approaching the end of his college years. He has made a nice life for himself in New York. He has his art, his friends and his freedom, but he will soon have to leave it all behind. He is due to return to California to take his rightful place at his family's media empire. At least that was the plan until he met a beautiful woman & muse.

Harper is a 30 year old fifth grade teacher who's just gone through a painful breakup. Living on her best friend's couch, she spends her free time watching reruns of Friends. Tired of seeing her friend sulk around, April drags her out for a night on the town. There in a room full of suits, she meets a beautiful man wearing jeans and a man bun. He saves her from her ex who walks in by kissing her deeply and passionately before leaving the bar. Never having been kissed quite like that before, she decides to take a chance and run after him.

Tanner & Harper's journey was absolutely beautiful, but not without issues that had to be overcome. It was just as much heartbreaking as it was heartwarming. The story was wonderfully written and had everything that I was looking for. A sexy and passionate hero, a lovable heroine, sizzling hot chemistry and a swoon-worthy romance. I smiled. I laughed and at times I cried. Tanner is a wonderful read that I'm sure you won't want to miss.

I am so mad I didn't meet the Sexton brothers before now. Tanner reads as a true standalone, but there are enough of his brothers that I need to know their stories!

Tanner and Harper have electric chemistry, and from the time Tanner comes on the page you know there is so much more to him than meets the eye. A soulful artist wise beyond his years falls for an older woman with a beautiful but battered heart and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Jeannine Colette and Lauren Runow have a seamless voice and write beautifully together.

Now if you'll excuse me I'll be with Bryce and Austin. 5+ stars!

Tanner by Jeannine Colette and Lauren Runow is the third book in a seris of standalones, the Sexton Brothers Series. The previous books are Austin and Bryce. For better understanding I recommend to read the books in order.

Tanner Sexton is the 22 year old heir to an media empire. Together with his brothers Austin and Bryce he'll continue the inheritance of his mother and become President of Marketing and Advertising. He enjoys his last weeks in freedom, living in NY nobody cares about him and his fame.
He's an old soul and mature beyond his years.

Harper Doyle is a 30 year old school teacher. She loves her job. Only her prsonal life is difficult at the moment. She's living with her best friend aftera bad breakup.

Both meet at a bar and it's love at first sight - not. She's looking for a distraction and he for a ons. He believes she's a gold digger, Harper isn't that at all.
Both have a kind of whirlwind romance and the saying Love Conquers is accurate. They found their soulmate in each other.

Tanner is a beautiful story with characters I very easily could connect with. The writing is excellent and I lopved the storyline and the words. I recommend the book and the series and give 4,75 stars.

OMG it's here... The book is here and I couldn't read it sooner... I know... I know... How could I, right?
The thing is I was so busy in that moment but once my schedule was cleared... Oh boy... I devoured it...
Jeannine Colette and Lauren Runow had created the perfect series and let me tell you... Once you start to read it you will have severe problems to let it go...
Their writing mix up so good that you know you will love it. The feelings they bring to the stories will melt your heart... But that's not all it's going to melt...
Tanner is their latest release and it's the third book from the Sexton Brothers series... Oh lord have mercy...
But I need to tell you something. You must read Austin, then Bryce and then, only then, you can read Tanner. These books aren't standalones so read them in order.
This book explores the lifes of Tanner and Harper.
Tanner just wanted to have a normal life, but being super rich and having to grow up and work at his family's empire was in the cards for him.
But he just needed to get away, complete his studies and only than he would get back but...
Harper is a teacher, a profession that she loves but in the love department she failed miserably. One night at a bar she couldn't imagine that that hunk of a men would change her life but...
I just want to cry my eyes out.... Wanna know why?
Because this masterpiece is over... Why? Oh why?
These three brothers had stolen my soul and melted my heart.
I'm so in love with the Sexton Brothers that I wanted to keep reading about them.
Sublime plot, very well written, super engaging, intense and hot has hell.
Once I started to read it I simply couldn't put it down, nor did I wanted to. And the proof is that I went to bed at 2am... Crazy right? Wrong, because if you had read this series you know the effect that have in us.
This book presented us with love, loyalty, desire, family bonds as well as greed, betrayal, crime and appearances.
How can someone be so shallow and mean in order to hurt someone?
Everything worked perfectly, from the chemistry the characters share to the drama in between each chapter.
And get ready to take a few cold showers... Just saying.
Well there's not much to say without spoiling so I'm only gonna say this.
This series is one of my favorite series of all times and I'm sad it's over.
Jeannine and Lauren, you girls have an amazing gift, and that translated to this amazing series. I knew you guys would be amazing but this is beyond all that. It's exquisite and breathtaking.
Can I have more please? I really hope you would say yes.

ARC received for an honest review

This is the book that I have been waiting for.

Tanner Sexton has been a bit of an enigma throughout Austin and Bryce's books, and the way he entered at the end of book 2 had me impatient for his story.

And Ms Runow and Ms Colette have not disasspointed.

From the moment I picked up Tanner, I was hooked. I needed to know more about him and his story.

I loved his take on life, on love, on family. And his adoration of his woman makes him all kinds of swoonworthy.

There has been an ongoing storyline running through all three books, and I have been curious how this was going to play out.

I was kept on the edge of my seat right until the end of Tanner to find out what really happened. I was so glad that the brothers got their closure on that.

It was great to get more of Bryce, Austin and their lovely ladies. However, now I have been left wanting more.

I need more.

Please give us more in the future (even a novella to catch us up with their lives would do!)

I hope this due write more together in the future.

Tanner is Book 3 in the Sexton Brothers series. It can be read as a standalone and was actually the first book that I’ve read by either of these authors.

Harper is just trying to get over a bad relationship. Her best friend encourages her to put herself out there and find someone just like her ex and maybe a one night stand will help her to move on.

What she finds at that bar instead is Tanner and there is a connection and a spark that can’t be denied .

“Tanner’s eyes take me in. Every curve, every lump, every blemish, and all I see is appreciation reflecting back at me.”

This story was very entertaining if a little over the top. But sometimes you just need to believe in that instant spark.

The BEST Sexton yet...

First I met Austin and I fell hard. Then came Bryce. He stole my heart and I knew he'd be the one I loved forever.

Until I met Tanner. Holy hell, I love this man.

The writing duo of Lauren Runow and Jeannine Colette is simply phenomenal. They complement each other flawlessly, creating characters that won't soon be forgotten.
I hope we'll see more from this team soon.

This author duo brought readers an absolutely fantastic ending to this series of standalones. I had the pleasure of reading them in order, first with Austin, then Bryce and now Tanner. While I love that I got to read them that way, I don't think it would be a requirement to enjoy them. You'll definitely want to go back and read any you may have missed though.

Tanner might have been the baby of the family, but the more I got to know him the more I knew that he was definitely all grown up. Maybe even a little more so than his older brothers. He had this old soul that was really easy for me to relate to and connect with. And I thought he and Harper were the perfect match up. She really was exactly what he needed despite and maybe a little bit because of what they went through to make it happen.

There are some unexpected twists and secrets revealed in this story but the wrap up is utter perfection.

I not only will be holding out hope that Lauren Runow and Jeannine Colette continue to write stories together in future, but I also know I need to check out their individual work as they definitely have a fan in this reader.

Harper was just trying to get over her ex when her BFF drags her to a bar. Litte did she expect a kiss from Tanner to knock her off her game forcing her to chase him down. Tanner and Harper keep running into each other and then give into their desire for each other. He treats her like she is the queen he has always wanted. They had the best getting to know each other dates and seeing NYC through each other eyes.
A little mystery of the Sexton Media empire which has ran through all three books in this series. Loved getting to see the other brothers and their women.

Tanner by Jeannine Colette and Lauren Runow is the third and final book of the Sexton Brothers and to say I will miss the guys is definitely an understatement. Three very different stories interconnected together to form something fabulous three times over. These two authors keep writing magic and although this journey is over I will be keeping my eye out for what they both will come up with next.

Tanner was such fun story to read and the character himself was very much the same way. He is the youngest of his brothers at 22 years old and finishing up his degree to graduate and move home to take his spot at Sexton Media. The idea of going back and being placed into such a role has been plaguing Tanner for a while, seeing his brothers so miserable from their jobs, that he stayed in college longer just to prolong his decision. A night out on the town seemed to be just what the doctor ordered coming face to face with a woman who not only didn't give him the time of day but also made it clear she was there looking for a "suit" to take her home. One passionate kiss later starts an adventure neither thought they would be having, but all the same was something Tanner nor Harper would soon forget.

The relationship between Tanner and Harper was pretty much whirlwind from the moment she decided to follow him on the subway. He takes her places she didn't know existed, places that just looking at Tanner you wouldn't believe he would even appreciate. Each stop brings out more of each other that by the end of the night both knew something was different beyond a one night stand. Unfortunately Harper's fears of the unknown got in the way but was made up for with fate bringing these two back together. Harper was always so cautious and strict with having order and Tanner made her see that fun and spontaneity were not bad things at all. Despite their age difference they complimented each other very well and it was nice how open and honest the relationship stayed, even knowing Tanner would be leaving soon.

I love how the bond between the Sexton brothers shined through even with Tanner on the opposite side of the country. At any time if something were to happen, good or bad, everything would be dropped and these guys would have each other's backs in a heartbeat. The storyline did however take a little longer than I would have hoped for the brothers to be together in person to take on the company and face their father and Missy for good. Jeannine Colette and Lauren Runow always hinted at something that centered around Missy and Edward and the reasoning behind wanting to sell the company so bad, and boy did they pull out the big guns for that. I was shocked and heartbroken at what actually took place but also satisfied at the end results. This has been a great trilogy to read, I'm so happy these books caught my eye from the beginning, and anyone who hasn't yet met the Sextons is definitely missing out.

Sooooo…this is my second Sexton brother this year and let me tell you, they just keep getting better and better. In fact I think I want to hire Lauren and Jeannine to just write new book boyfriends for me all day long! Hold on tight because this one will knock you off your feet. Strangers in a bar, a spontaneous evening followed by a whirlwind relationship. Harper and Tanner are my new favorite couple!

If you have been reading the Sexton novels (you REALLY need to meet Austin and Bryce) then you already know Tanner, the baby of the family. He’s artsy and has distanced himself from the family drama trying to find himself *swoon* He doesn’t do anything half assed…he’s ALL IN!

Tanner doesn’t kiss with his lips. He kisses with his entire being.

He doesn’t let his age (a mere 22) determine who he is or what he is meant to be. It’s like he’s from another era and is the answer to your fantasy prayers. The things he says, the actions he takes is all for the greater good. The way he feels for Harper…ugh amazing! I mean any girl would be lucky to have this man. He can’t get enough of her.

I’m wildly addicted to you, and it’s going to kill me.

Harper, let me just say this, she is just as amazing. A woman scorned and on the rebound. She’s rebuilding herself and just getting back to herself when Tanner collides with her life. A few brief moments at a NYC bar and her life is changed forever Watching her be spontaneous, seeing her lusting after Tanner, then falling in love with him….I still have stars in my eyes.

He’s such an old soul, truly wise beyond his years.

Tanner and Harper’s story shows us that age is just a number, love is for real, and family is everything!

*Lauren and Jeannine…I hope there is more SEXTON in our futures ;)

Tanner is the 3rd Sexton Brother Novel. All standalone, but you will not want to miss any of the brothers stories. So start with reading Austin and then Bryce's books first. Then you will be ready to read Tanner, and he became my favorite brother fast. He has been attending college in New York. He likes to be known as just another struggling college student while he is there. His fate is already written in stone at his family's company in San Francisco, where he will be the president of Marketing and Advertising at Sexton Media empire. At the young age of fourteen his mother passed away, and he was gifted shares in his families media company. When Tanner reached the legal age, he had taken control of them. That is why he decided to go to college on the opposite end of the country. Back home, he is a Sexton, heir to a billion-dollar media conglomerate. In New York he is just Tanner.

Tanner was weeks away from having to head home, and helping his brothers with the company. His father Edward Sexton & his much younger horrid wife, Missy Catrera, were trying to sell the company their beloved mother had built from the ground-up. So one night when Tanner was at a bar with friends, he met a very beautiful woman, Harper Doyle. They had their first dance, and had their first kiss. When Tanner went to leave after kissing her, a breathless Harper does the “rational” thing, and chases him onto the subway.

The connection between Harper and Tanner is magical. Harper is coming off a nasty break-up with an ex-boyfriend. She is a 5th grade teacher, and has been for eight years. She is thirty to Tanners twenty-two, but together they work. Tanner is a talented artist as well as old soul with a romantic heart. Of course, there is much for them to overcome, but he is certain that he doesn't want to figure life out without her. This is a fantastic ending to the series. I hope Jeannine Colette and Lauren Runow write more books as a combined team. The writing was wonderful.

Not my first read by this wonderful author & I hope not last!

What can I say besides BRYCE & AUSTIN WHO? Because Tanner here basically knocked them right off the shelf for me! Talk about swoon, charming, smart, artistic and a man of his word that believes in characters rather than how short the clothes are on a woman! #DREAMY

Tanner is the polar opposite of both brothers, someone who could have ANYTHING - ANYTIME, he did the right path, school and responsibilities. Before moving back to over-take the Sexton empire he was enjoying and is enjoying just being Tanner, not the hot-shot rich good looking man!

When he meets Harper haha his world is flipped up-side down in the best way possible. Meeting in a bar because of a random reason, what comes after is magical, beautiful and so unreal that you'll be turning the pages faster to see what will happen.

When push comes to shove, will Tanner chose his family or Harper, the woman he can't get out of his mind. Sadly, he can't be and do both...but know that what happens next...is explosive.

favorite quotes:
"...It hit me like a ton of bricks the moment you fought me outside the subway turnstile. It seeps into my skin every second since until my entire body was consumed. It's brilliant and scary as hell."

There is enough information and not too much for this to be read as a stand-alone. I would recommend reading the other two brother's, makes it more fun to get to Book #3. I am rating this a 5 star & highly recommended to read! You will love all three brothers but TANNER just did it for me the most!!

Romantic, Sensual, Sexy, Artistic, and Passionate are all words that I now relate to Tanner.... He swooped right in and stole my heart and loyalty from his brothers! I loved his passion and his need to be himself.

Harper is getting over a relationship when she meets Tanner in a bar. All it took was one kiss to start a whirlwind full of unexpected surprises.
I don't want to give much of the story away so go one click and fall in love for yourself!

When I started this series, I was simply blown away by this writing duo known as Jeannine Colette & Lauren Runow. The books have an amazing flow and you can't tell where one author stops and the other starts. Each book hooked me immediately, but Tanner blew me away. I'm a sucker for an older woman/younger man read and this one hit all of my must haves in a great book! You definitely don't need to read Austin and Bryce but I can promise you that you will want to!

So sad to see this series end but so hoping to see more collaboration from these two amazing authors!

Tanner is the third book in the series and it’s my favorite! Tanner is one hot as heck sexy artist. Everything about him and Harper’s relationship was so great. From the moment he comes to her rescue, they start off strong. They have an amazing chemistry and an undeniable attraction to each other.

This story was so much fun! It made me smile and swoon. While I loved all the books in the series, this one really made its way into my heart. This duo really nailed it. The characters are well developed, the story is amazing, and the writing is perfect.

With the right amount of romance, steam, and drama Tanner is a must read!

An arc was provided for an honest review.

Swoon!!! New Book Boyfriend…CHECK!

Tanner Sexton is a hot, sexy, extremely wealthy 22 year old. Harper Doyle is an elementary teacher in a not-so-nice area of town. Doesn’t seem like they have much in common, but the one thing they do have is a kiss that rocked both their worlds.

“Take me where you go when you want to run away from the world.”

From the very first page to the very last the authors, Lauren Runow and Jeannine Colette had me devouring their words! I felt like I was standing in that bar with Tanner and Harper, ready to put my subway card in the turn style so Harper could go through, sitting on the couch with Harper watching episodes of Friends, and walking down the street and seeing the paintings on the walls. The picture that was written in their words was so visual and so deep. The artistic twist was perfection, the feels, the heat, the love, the heartbreak, the…EVERYTHING! The humor in this was a perfectly added touch. I loved the mystery that was delicately included into the storyline, as well as all of the characters! I love the sibling factor, and Harper’s father and ex. The bar scene was so incredible… it just hooked me right off the bat! This is one of those “don’t plan on sleeping tonight because you won’t be able to put it down” books!

“I just want to forget reality tonight. I want to live in your dream.”

TANNER, the 3rd book in the SEXTON BROTHERS series was FANTASTIC! It can be a standalone, but I suggest reading the other two (Austin and Bryce) to get into the family dynamic. I HIGHLY recommend this book and this series. These two authors writing together make quite the explosive pair! LOVED this book and easily give it 5-Star rating!
