مغامرة يوم واحد في عالم الرياضيات العجيب
Math Wonderland is a museum of interactive mathematical models in Hokkaido, Japan, founded by one of the authors, Jin Akiyama, in 2003. The models in Wonderland, many of which have been exhibited all over Japan and in cities around the world, are meant to help children and young adults discover and experience the wonders of mathematics. This book is centered around the experiences of three fictional middle-school students during a visit to Wonderland. They spend a day in Wonderland, handling the interactive models and participating in the activities offered there. At the end of the day, they leave with a genuine appreciation of mathematics gained from witnessing its beauty, applicability and inevitability.This book is an important contribution to the genre because it presents mathematics and models that have never before appeared in books in the same category: reversible solids, plane tiling with developments of tetrahedrons, and double-packable solids, which are derived from the authors' own research papers published in mathematics journals. It is designed to entertain, inform and even teach some mathematics. Although it is targeted at young adults, parents and teachers may learn something from the book as well.

واحد من الكتب الجميلة جداً اللي قرأتها مؤخراً .. بيشرح مجموعة مسائل رياضية ونظريات .. وبيوضح استخداماتها في حياتنا .. أول مرة أعرف إن الإكسليفون أساساً تطبيق رياضي معتمد على نظرية فيثاغورس .. و كمان اتكلم عن دور التكامل و التفاضل في صناعة جهاز الرنين المغناطيسي ..
الكتاب بيشرح كل الكلام ده في صورة قصة لطيفة .. عن 3 طلاب بيقرروا يروحوا رحلة لمتحف إسمه عالم الرياضيات العجيب .. المتحف متقسم لقاعات و كل قاعة بتتكلم عن نظرية أو مسألة أو فكرة رياضية و بيوضح التجارب عليها ..

برغم ان الكتاب اكتشفت أنه مبسط جدا ويحتوي على رسوم للأطفال إلّا أنى لم افهم منه إلا نظرية فيثاغورث 😂
برغم محاولة تبسيط المعلومات إلا أنه يحتاج إلى أن يكون لديك خلفية ليست بالمستهان بها فى الرياضيات.
لذا لولا إلتماس طلب مساعدة بعض أصدقائى المهندسين لن أكن سأفقه شيئ بعد الإنتهاء من القراءة .
..
لذا إن كنت فى أى مجال ينتمى لدراسة الرياضيات فأعتقد أنك ستستمتع ببساطته لكن غير ذلك فإنه من العسير فهم بعض الأمور لذا ستحتاج إلا قليل من المساعدة.
..
كما ان الكتاب رب في التحدى لمحاولة إقتحام مجال الرياضيات والبدأ فيه وبالفعل قد بدأت بالتفاضل والتكامل ❤️

I'm going to be a literary analyst here, just for a moment.
The title on the cover of the book is for merely attracting kids. The real title of the book, actually, isn't explicitly mentioned anywhere in the book.
However, teachers of English literature can see through a poet's "the curtains were blue, why so I have not a clue", that the reason behind the curtains' being blue was actually the poet's sadness, though the poet himself never said so.
As you read this book, you see something similar. It screams in every page "You guys don't have the faintest idea how to teach maths", "math education done right", and so on. The real title, hence, I believe, is "A boring teacher's guide to the fun world of mathematics". Recommended for kids, yes. But much more recommended for those who teach kids.

ممتع .. وسهل الفهم لعشاق الرياضيات .. لكنه موجه للاطفال وهذا الامر لم يكن واضح خصوصا انه معروض في المكتبات في قسم الكتب العلمية وليس قسم كتب الاطفال

Nora knjiga. Na momente nerazumljiva, saj se vidi, da sem ali pozabil ali pač se nisem naučil. Kakor koli že, odlična knjiga o matematiki, ki te prav pritegne, da bi še raziskoval in se učil matematike. Prav to bom tudi storil. Učil se.
Str. 207- če želimo rešiti problem, je včasih potrebno zamenjati način razmišljanja. ....obstaja veliko različnih možnosti, kako pogledamo na nek problem.
