Sarah O'Rourke is the alter ego of two best friends who have taken their passion for romantic fiction and erotica to the publishing world. Born and raised in the southern United States, one lives near Louisville, KY, while the other resides in Atlanta, Georgia. Neither is ever very far from a tall glass of sweet iced tea, their dog-eared copies of Gone With the Wind, or their Steel Magnolias DVDs!

Ok

This is a story of a mother with her two kids fleeing a marriage to a cop that abuses her and has threatened to abuse their two kids also. She decides to run and heads across the country to Tennessee where she meets her boom. This was a short story, but that's fine since the writing was just ok and I didn't have to endure more of it.

3 EASY STARS

This short little read made for a light enjoyable read to the commute from work – I was definitely in the mood for this. Clarity is trying to start a new life, having escaped her abusive husband, she’s trying to build a new life, as she attempts to stay under the radar. Men aren’t even a speck on her mind, but when she runs out of gas, and Detective Marek Haws stops to investigate and then help. As soon as Marek sees her he feels the BOOM, he does all he can to ensure she doesn’t disappear from his life.

I liked the fact that despite a lot happening in a short span of time, it takes 6 months or there so, for Marek and Clarity to officially get together. I liked the fact that Marek from the get go saw Clarity and her kids as a unit, and wanted all 3.

Clarity seems to have luck on her side, yes she has runaway with her two kids to escape her abusive husband, but she’s able to

One big issue I did have was with the due to the way in which he was introduced, and his character traits the turn around in his attitude, just didn’t feel real.

This is the 2nd book I have read from this author duo. As usual I love it when the H feels the BOOM instantly. Grateful for a safe book. This book did surprise me with a plot twist. And the kids were a great addition.

I really loved this story. Marek is the ultimate amazing book boyfriend. The minute he met Clarity he knew she was his Boom and from that moment on would do anything for her and her two children. Clarity has not had it easy and is weary of Marek but he was beyond patient and loving and won her trust. Clarity’s daughter was an absolute hoot, I loved her feisty spirit to pieces.
Safety and Spoilers
Completely safe. No ow drama and h’s husbands brother shows up and causes a tiny amount of drama. H has been celibate for a while and h has been for over a year. Mentions of h’s past abuse by husband, no mentions of sexual abuse.

A good addition to the series. Hot cop & single mum on the run until the BOOM took them by surprise. This one had the added bonus of a sassy 4 year old to make me laugh.

Ready Made Family

Escaping an abusive ex husband, Clarity is trying to make a new start in a new state along with her two children.

It’s a struggle staying off the radar so her ex can’t locate her but she’ll do that and more to protect her babies. Living in a rundown trailer behind the place she works as a cocktail waitress, it’s a far cry from her life before.

When Detective Marek Haws sees Clarity for the first time he can’t explain this overwhelming feeling that comes over him. The need to protect her and her children. His fellow partner Cobi simply says Boom!

Now that Marek has finally found his one he’ll move heaven and earth to protect his woman and the children he’s come to love as his own.

Sweet read, with all the feels that will have you swooning.

Until Tennessee by Sarah O'Rourke is the story of Marek Haws and Clarity Escobar, and is a part of the Happily Ever Alpha Series. This can be a standalone book but the characters of past and future do mix together in the books. Clarity is escaping California from her abusive husband with her two children when she meets Marek a cop in Tennessee. The 'Boom' happens for Marek and he knows he needs to make Clarity his.

I was pulled right into this super short story. The story has naughty fun, passion, and hot steamy love.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading them first if you want the full stories of the Until series by Aurora Rose Reynolds as these novellas take place in the same series:
Until November (Until, #1)
Until Trevor (Until, #2)
Until Lilly (Until, #3)
Until Nico (Until, #4)
Until July (Until Her/Him, #1)
Until Jax (Until Her/Him, #2)
Until June (Until Her/Him, #3)
Until Ashlyn (Until Her/Him, #4)
Until Sage (Until Her/Him, #5)
Until Harmony (Until Her/Him, #6)
Until Cobi (Until Her/Him, #7)

This is Clarity and Marek’s story. Clarity is on the run from her abusive husband and is hiding in Tennessee. When her car breaks down, she meets Marek. She knows she has to leave town now before her husband finds her but Marek gives her information that makes her want to stay. Can she stay and fall for Marek or should she have known that men almost always turn out to be bad? She has to worry not only about herself but her kids also. Can she afford to fall for Marek? Can Marek prove to her he is what she always knew she wanted and needed to feel loved?

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book

An absolutely fantastic addition to the Until series of book originally written by Aurora Rose Reynolds, when the BOOM strikes Maek he wasn’t quite sure what it meant but he quickly learns that although he’s head over heels it may take some time to get Clarity to catch up, his only hope is she lets him be the one to catch her when she’s ready!

Clarity is running, running in fear, running on empty, running for her babies protection but most of all running for safety. Only one issue is she’s all out of gas. That is until Detective Maek pulls up to help her out but her fear is palpable to even his eyes and she can’t help the tremors racking her body, she only hopes his help doesn’t bring with it everything that’s chasing her. Luckily for her Maek isn’t like anyone she’s ever met before his need to protect her reassures the nervous energy inside her but is it enough to bring her guard down and allow her to have a little happiness.

This was tremendously written and fitted seamlessly in with the rest of the Until Series and even the little twists though unexpected made the story even more remarkable.

Sarah O'Rourke has done a beautiful job of weaving a beautiful love story that I am sure everyone would love. This story is very well written and flowed easy. I honestly could not put it down, from beginning to end it had my heart captured and my emotions invested in their story.

Detective Marek Haws was a single man that loved his job, family and friends. All he is missing was the ever elusive BOOM, little did he know it was a traffic stop away. Clarity is a sweet but desperate to survive mum on the run to save the very lives she cherishes, her babies safety come first, Clarity needs a new life off the grid. She doesn't trust the men in blue but little does she know when she runs out of gas she will meet the protection she has been wanting all along. There is going to be fireworks all over the place with these two.

I would recommend this book and author to anyone who loves a beautiful love with a strong storyline. This author is definetly an author you want to read. This book is part of the Happily Ever Alpha world with Aurora Rose Reynolds and to be invited to be a part of this world you have to be extraordinarily talented. I honestly hope you love this book as much as I have. Happy Reading ♡

Patience and Resilience Build Strong Foundation for Love

In Sarah O'Rourke's contribution to the 2019 Happily Ever Alpha World, Marek feels the BOOM the moment he interacts with Clarity in the middle of a busy intersection. Traumatized and struggling to provide for her children, Clarity is leary of of his motivations but over time Marek's actions prove he can be the one to give her the HEA she deserves but never thought she would have. Marek and Clarity's story has clear ties back the original Until Series by Aurora Rose Reynolds through Marek's connection to Cobi Mayson. Until Tennessee is well-written short story making it a quick easy read at 75 pages. Relatable characters dealing with true to life issues and toddler who provides moments of levity create the foundation for a story that is both poignant and entertaining.

Clarity is running with her children from her abusive husband. She had tried going the legal route but he was a cop and her pleas fell to deaf ears. Now she is in Tennessee and has been spotted by a cop and is fearful of what she might find but she ends up finding the man who intends to win her heart.

This was a fun quickie. I wish it had been a bit longer and you had been able to see these two characters develop more though.

Sweet and heart warming. I love how the BOOM hits and never lets go. Marek was such an Alpha man, making sure to give Clarity the time she needed, by showing her what a real man does for his woman.

Sweet story.
Mother of 2 running from her abusive husband, working really hard to care for them under the radar.
Insta for the Hero.
Cute, funny kid.
The heroine is married when we are first introduced to her in the book, though estranged from her abusive husband but there is no cheating.
Although the Hero knows straight away, on meeting the heroine, she's his "one" his boom, their relationship is slow burn.
The heroine is single when she starts a romantic relationship with the Hero.
HEA.
Epilogue.

4 Until Tennessee Stars

Until Tennessee was a very short read and because of that things happened within the book very quickly. Clarity has escaped an abusive husband with her two young children. She has been on her own and doing what she can for 6 months. Suddenly within a day everything goes wrong and she meets Marek a cop in Tennessee.

The Boom happens for Marek and he know from the get go that he has to do everything in his power to protect Clarity and try to make her his.

This was a very sweet story and I really enjoyed reading it. The loss of one star is because it was just way too short and I like a story to be more developed. I do highly recommend reading it though.

Be prepared for the ground to shake as you experience the BOOM 💥 that goes off as Marek and Clarity come face to face. A story that is captivating and will have you enchanted by the strength and bravery of Clarity. Little Addi has a personality as big as the sun and she will worm her way straight into your heart. Marek is the definition of love and protect the ones that are near and dear to you. Until Tennessee is a bewitching addition to the Alpha Happily Ever After series. This love story is passionate, swoon worthy and will definitely melt your heart.

I forgot how much emotion Sarah O’Rourke writes with, these two always pull all my heartstrings. At one point I had tears streaming down my face, because they always nail it. The very real issues they write about are always dead on and they totally nail it every time. They always hit close to home and they always write it beautifully emotional.

Clarity is on the run, from her abusive husband, to protect her and her small children. She’s been on the run for about 6 months when her car stalls in a busy intersection and Marek stops to help out. Marek is a detective with my man Cobi and once he sees Clarity, he falls for her and her beautiful children. He falls into his role so naturally and with ease, like he was made for this family. This book will take you through so many emotions and feelings, worth every second. I absolutely loved it and could not put it down.

This book was safe for me. I say this because even though she was married when they met, when a husband puts his hands on his wife and very small children....he is null and void in my world. Don’t care, he caused so much pain and fear, Clarity really stepped up and made hard choices, but vital ones to protect her family. Her daughter will forever have my heart, along with this book. So for me...it’s safe. We get a few years look into the future and a very deserving hea.

Okay, so I'm a suuuuucker for a hot guy and a single mom. Or a hot single dad. Or two hot dads.
I'm a sucker for all of it, so I knew I'd adore this one. I was not wrong.

Clarity is on the run from her abusive husband who not only hurt her on the regular, but also threatened to hurt their two babies. Because he was a cop, and it happens too often, no one believed her or even tried to help her out until a friend helped her secure a car and get out of the state while he was at work one day. She packed up her life and two kids and ran. Going from sucessful woman in the suburbs, she was living in a trailer with more problems than not, and driving a car on it's very last leg, but at least they were all safe... that is, until she runs out of gas in a busy intersection in Tennessee and the cop that pulled her over needs to run her plates. Until then she'd been so far under the radar, her husband had no hope of finding her.

Detective Marek Haws is tired and just wants to go home, so the car blocking traffic in a busy intersection only serves to put him in a worse mood.... until the owner of said car rolls down her window and he gets a sight of Clarity Escobar and her two sweet babys. Afraid and anxious, he knows something is wrong with the way the woman begs him not to run her name. She didn't try to hide it though, she told him straight up the reason and after learning what he does, he wants to take them all home with him and make sure they never fear anything again.... There went the BOOM.
Did I mention he's also Cobi's partner on the force? Hot right?!

The only thing I didn't care about in this one, was that when the husband's brother.... the children's uncle come to what? remind them all of his brother.... he goes from a person who encouraged the abuse, knew it was happening and even admitted to encouraging it.... to being an understanding, soft-eyed uncle that just wanted what was best for them??? All in the span of a blink? Say what??? He's the bad guy.... he encouraged his brother to literally beat you and terrify your children, one of whom was only 4 months old.... and then he's flip flops into this caring uncle/brother in law that only wants you guys happy and Marek better do that?? No....
Ugh, why was he even included in the story. So random.

So that part bothered me. But, even though the boom happened quick with Merek, he didn't rush. He was patient with the little family and gained their trust and love before he spelled it all out for Clarity. Rather sappily I'll add...
But it worked for them. I'm always glad to see a sweet ending when it comes to abuse and like I said.... single parents.
So, other than the brother and that whole pointless part. I enjoyed the story and I can't wait to see who's up next!

I was excited when I saw that I won an ARC of Until Tennessee by Sarah O’Rourke. I will start with a quick synopsis and then give my review.

Synopsis: Clarity is on the run from her abusive husband. She knew the only way to protect her two children was to pack quickly and get as far as possible from Sacramento. Fortunately, Clarity ends up in Tennessee and quickly finds a job that will allow her to hide from her cop husband. She is able to establish a somewhat steady life for her and her children, Addison and Zain. When bad luck hits and her car runs out of gas at a busy intersection Clarity gets help from one of the last places she wants it, a cop. Marek responds to the call for help and ends up meeting his Boom. What Marek quickly realizes is that he will have his work cut out for him in convincing Clarity to trust him but he is more than capable of following through.

Review: The only disappointing aspect to the story is that we cannot get more of Clarity and Marek’s story! I love Marek’s determination and drive to secure his future with Clarity, not to mention his love for both her and her kids. We also get a couple of scenes with Cobi and Hadley Mayson, as Marek is his partner on the force. For a shorter story, Sarah O’Rourke was able to fit so much evolution of the characters and their lives in there. I think that any fan of Aurora Rose Reynolds will be excited to come back to the Maysons and readers will fall in love with Marek and Clarity’s story!

5 Stars!

Sarah O'Rourke is one of those good ones that you don't forget. They are those ones that write good, suspenseful, wholesome, swoony, unforgettable romances that leaves you full of emotion and with such a good overall feeling by the end. This duo nailed ARR's world the first book round and now they are back for seconds with their best one yet.

Until Tennessee was a sexy, sweet, swoony, emotional romance that gripped my heart in moments and had me swooning big time for a certain detective. Tennessee and Marek lit up kindle from the very moment he connected with her and her children. And the journey that followed was fast, believable, deserved, and so dang beautiful.

I'm a huge fan of this author duo and I'm glad they are back in the writing game after a short break.

Fall head over in heels in love as they take a chance on their very own once on a lifetime kind of BOOM and find forever can happen in just one moment.

Aurora Rose Reynolds has created a whole new BOOM spin off world book where authors of her choosing write stories that link and swerve into her Until series... my very favorite book series in the entire world. ARR has seriously started a dream by creating this new Until world and I'm so so so freaking excited to see what we get in every single book... and even meet some new to me authors.

I highly recommend this fantastic world.
