V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her mama over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn't happen.
Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it.
When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.

PAKHAN'S SALVATION was an incredible way to conclude the Pakhan Duet!! It had action and suspense and torture... all of the good stuff we look for to make one fantastic mafia romance novel, but it also tackled pain, grief, confusion, desperation, hopelessness, fear, loyalty, love and devotion.

Dominic is suffering. He's succumbed to the grief over losing Rosa and the only thing that keeps him going is seeking revenge against those who took her away. Those who betrayed him don't stand a chance of escaping his vengeful wrath. However, the stakes get even higher when Dominic finds a woman in Italy who bears a remarkable resemblance to his love.

It was intense and it was romantic and I was completely absorbed by this story. The author has a way with words that have made me fully capitulate to utter fandom. I am going to devour EVERYTHING written by this author. She's that freaking good!!

That epilogue though? So sweet. Thank you so much for that. It was hard to say goodbye to these characters but you left them in such a beautiful place that I can't even fault you for it. This truly was a beautiful conclusion to the dramatic story of Dominic and his Rosa.

Release Date: January 24, 2017
Genre: Mafia Romance/Romantic Suspense
POV: Dual - 1st person
Steam: 4 out of 5
Series or standalone: Book 2 of the Pakhan duet and shouldn't be read as a standalone

5 Stars!

Loved every second of this book.

After the shocking cliffhanger from book 1 we learn that Rosa is alive and well. But she isn't aware of who she is anymore... Dominic knew in his heart that Rosa was alive. He never gave up searching for her and was determined to find her and keep her safe. And once he finds her he is hell bent on making her remember what they had.

Dominic made this book for me - he was my favourite type of alpha. Extremely determined, protective and possessive. I only gave book 1 three stars because he didn't really stand out too much but everything changed in this book.

"She was mine. Mine to love, mine to protect, and mine to soothe."

The epilogue was amazing and left me wanting the next book ASAP! Also can I just put in a formal request to have Michael and Vitya get a novella or something. They are honestly the greatest side characters ever - their relationship is so awesome and I want more of them!!!

Favourite quote from the book!

"Did anything more perfect exist in this world? She was made for me, my krasavica. I never understood the importance of love until she was taken away from me and I had to face living without her.

Misunderstanding this to be the first book in the duet I was appalled to realize my blunder. But it didn’t affect my enjoyment at all.
First read from this author and What an experience it was!
Loved the gripping plot, strong mafia pakhan hero and his princess. I loved everything in this book. It was little dark and dealt with pet peeve of mine in small scale- child prostitution.
I had a small problem with final revelation. I Found it to be a little bit complex and it took me sometime and numerous rereading to completely understand villains motives.
Still There is high chance I’ll be reading the first book in the duet anyway which is a first.
Safe and epilogue was ahhmazingg!!
Recommended.

I tried to read this perfection slowly to savor all the goodness in the final installment of Dom's story! I really gave it the ole college try. But DAGNABBIT! PS is such an awesome story, conveyed in such a fabulous manner that I couldn't function until I finished the story. I am sooooooo incredibly satisfied with Dom and Rosa's story! The epilogue is more than I could ask for in a story!

I am beyond proud to have discovered this series in its infancy. I'm enjoying the ride and I look forward to the next installment. Damian has his HEA, Dom has his HEA, and who's next? Radimir, the Sovietnik's Fury. Saaaaaawwwwwoooooonnnnnn!

Five stars seem so inadequate for PS! I absolutely ADORE and I am in awe of Mason's talent and incredible imagination!

You know the theme song for The Good, The Bad & The Ugly? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yG1ot... Where shit about to get real and you have two choices. You can either buckle yourself in for an exhilarating ride or step the hell off!

Well that's what it felt like in The Pakhan's duet series! OMG fellow readers, let me tell you, I'm so glad I'd batten down the hatches. Soooo good is an understatement to this epic conclusion. After reading ahhh man was I filled with a big case of the warm fuzzies.

Now I'm ticked off because its over and I'm really craving more...anyhoo hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Simmering rage threatened to snap my control, to make me dash toward Oliver and hit the fucking shit out of him for stroking my woman’s cheek. For caressing her. For having his ring on her. For thinking he had the right to hold or stake a claim on my woman, who never belonged to him to begin with.

Happiness is a privilege not everyone has.

Book 2 picks up with Dom heavily mourning his loss and his inability to let go of his hurt and anger. His need for revenge!

He is determined on having his revenge, investigating who the villains are while drowning his emotions in liquor. VFM really captured Dominic’s raw emotions making it hard to read what he was going through.
We learn that the cliffhanger in book 1 was misleading and see that Dominic and Rosa are dealing on different levels. While Dominic is distraught and raging by all the wrong-doings against him, Rosa does not know how to cope with regaining herself, struggling between the one she is told she is and the one she feels she is.

With the help of his twin Dominic does have his revenge on the immediate persons, the ones he sees in all the tapes found at Alfonso’s. They tortured and killed the men, but were not able to find the puppet master.

I would find a King and punish him for taking away my Queen.
Let the game begin.

Through many little findings, twists and turns Damian & Dominic end up in Italy because Dom believes his Rosa is there. Again it is Rosa who gets the short straw and is again the one who has to endure the cruelty of life’s scum.

The story was not too long and also fast paced with a lot of sexual tension and scorching hot sex!

I loved the inner dialogues of both of them, it often was amusing and had me laughing out loud.
Sliding lower, I licked down her stomach, biting on her navel, and then sucking on the skin harshly so it’d have a mark for days to come. My skin, my body, my woman. Although I’d kill any man before they’d have the chance to see the marks, they’d still give me satisfaction in the morning. Property of Dominic Konstantinov, after all

“No, I want to feel your hot cum inside me.”
Blyat. She had to say something that would make me impatient, didn't she? Little minx.

Relating to Dominic and his hard life this series was not only an emotional read, but also heart wrenching. I felt for him when he lost his soulmate after everything he had to endure in his life. I really wanted him to have his revenge even while knowing it would not bring him any peace.
Having said that, the story of The Bratva Pakhan and his woman is a bit OTT; because let’s face it a small woman who eliminates two bodyguards? And all because she fell in love with a man who just drove her to the airport?

Also, I did have some untied knots.

And the big revelation at the wedding about Honey? Yes, that one does deserve a book of its own.

Part of a series that has to be read in order:
Pakhan's Rose (Pakhan, #1) by V.F. Mason Pakhan's Salvation (Pakhan #2) by V.F. Mason

For a better understanding please first read:
Sociopath's Obsession (Sociopath Duet, #1) by V.F. Mason Sociopath's Revenge (Sociopath Duet, #2) by V.F. Mason

Wow!! This is one book that is full of sexual tension and suspense. It is one that kept me on the edge of my seat and didn’t let up at all. I loved how the author wrote PAKHAN'S SALVATION , which concludes the Pakhan Duet. The world of the mafia men and their women…what a twisted, tangled web it is and how the author wrote the angst, the pain, the despair , confusion, desperation, hopelessness, fear..but she also wrote a good amount of loyalty, devotion and above all love which counters to the bitter.
Pakhan's Rose (book one) was so heart wrenching and to pick up where we left off , wow wow wow. Dominic is in tremendous pain over losing Rose. He is on the edge of grief and everyone is unsure what to do for him. I could feel the pain consume as I read the words. I think the only thing keeping him going was the need for revenge. Dom thinks only of painful revenge on who took his beloved Rose from him and those who betrayed him and his love. The story then goes thru multiple twists and turns, especially in Italy. Oh the sexual tension is even, to me, higher in this story and I must say, the love shines thru even in the depths of despair. Even thru all the craziness and the action, there is romance which I totally enjoyed and loved. Dom and Rose totally make this book awesome. The epilogue , oh my! So so unexpected yet so beautiful and sweet. I hated seeing Dom and Rose go but I cannot wait to see what secondary characters from these books come next and have their own story told. It may be Radimir and what a hottie, or the hunk Connor. I so am looking forward to their stories next!

My Rating: 4. 7 stars *****

GREAT BOOK!

THE ACTION AND THE ROMANCE IS JUST WOW.... its like watching a damn great action love movie. this is what i need with this crazy year going on!!!!

I need more of this series please author✌️✌️😇

‼️‼️‼️DARK ROMANCE BUT SAFE HOT LOVE STORY BOOK!

‼️‼️‼️WARNING THIS SECOND BOOK have triggers from the characters of their past life and even the enemy’s past life was in discussion. R*pe, killing, kidnapping, human trafficking, prostitution from the enemy’s life and the past.

The hero and heroine have a past too but they never talked too much about it.

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS OTT POSSESSIVE PROTECTIVE ALPHA MALE!!!!

THE HERO really obsessed with the heroine and very much in love with her. I love that!

“I lost my heart and soul to that tiny woman who held my entire world in her hands. Nothing before her existed, and nothing would after her.”

‼️‼️‼️NO CHEATING.

‼️‼️‼️MANY. MANY JEALOUS scenes from the hero and little from the heroine herself.

“Simmering rage threatened to snap my control, to make me dash toward oliver and hit the f*cking sh*t out for him for stroking my woman’s cheek.”

“For thinking he had the right to hold or stake a claim on my woman, who never belonged to him to begin with.”

‼️‼️‼️VERY HOT SMUT SCENES ofc

‼️‼️‼️NO DRAMA WITH OW! Only with OM but not too much or too annoying.
Other drama was about their enemies...

‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE LIKE I SAID BEFORE THIS BOOK SHE’S A VIRGIN! The hero is not. And omg the hero really glad that he was the only one.

“ANYTIME MY EYES LAND ON YOUR NECK, IT PLEASES ME TO KNOW YOU BELONG TO ME. THAT NO ONE HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF THIS BODY BEFORE ME.”

Even when the heroine was thinking that the hero did this before and she felt this is the first for her. The hero immediately said to her; “NO ONE FELT LIKE YOU. NO ONE HAD ALL THIS BUT YOU. NO ONE COMPARES TO YOU. Do you understand?”

🥺🥺🥺

‼️‼️‼️The hero always and said many times he said to the heroine; YOU ARE MINE. MINE. MINE!

‼️‼️‼️IT HAS SEPARATION FOR A YEAR. After they get back together again, they never separated!

BUT BOTH NEVER WENT OR HAVE S*X WITH ANYONE ELSE! The heroine even become engaged with someone else but she never had s*x with him, only kissing but not even touching her body parts... THE HERO NEVER EVER TOUCH ANYONE ELSE AND WENT TO ANYONE ELSE!!!!!!

“Not to mention, there was no one and never would be after my krasavica.”

“ONE YEAR OF CELIBACY COULD TURN ME INTO A BEAST.”

“THE F*CKER HAD NEVER TOUCHED HER. SHE’D STAYED AS FAITHFUL TO ME AS I’D STAYED TO HER.”
🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO NEVER PUSH THE HEROINE AWAY. The heroine push the hero away some time but once she regain her memories, she never did once push the hero away.

‼️‼️‼️OTHER CHARACTERS are on this book as well like their friends and family. So cute!

‼️‼️‼️HAPPY ENDING!!!!

20 years later and both have a big family! We get to read how both hero and heroine raised a beautiful family and have a funny scenes too from their kids. Both still very much in love of course!

Damian and dominic got their amazing future!
“Two lonely boys, who only had each other to survive, healed their souls with love.”

“Yes brother. We sure did. HIS VOICE ECHOED IN THE NIGHT AS DAMIAN AND DOMINIC HARRISON FOREVER FOUND PEACE.”

🥺🥺🥺

They got their happy ending and its very beautiful!

PLEASE AUTHOR MAKE ANOTHER BOOK ABOUT THEIR KIDS CAUSE I WANT THAT VERY MUCH!

✌️✌️😇😇😇😇

This book was very interesting and fun to read. Aside with all the drama, this book never get boring. The drama was crazy but it was worth to read especially with the happy ending and a little scenes from their great future. Wowwwwww!!!!

Beautifully written and nicely paced as always, the explosive conclusion to Rosa & Dominic's story kept me hooked until the very end. It's dark, intense, emotional and hot with memorable characters.
V.F. Mason is an amazing storyteller. She has the uncanny ability to write words that grip your attention every step of the way and to develop strong and compelling characters that draw you in and make you invest in them.❤️

Interesting conclusion

Woah what a finale! I could guess the villain but not the reasons why and they sure were twisted. You almost felt sorry for the person.

Dominic was in rare form and wouldn’t stop at anything to get justice. Dang he is hot!

It is hard to review without giving something away. I will read the next installment, sounds interesting.

Great twisted read!

Enjoyed this one way more than Pakhan's Rose, probably because it didn't have all the violence that book one had.

It starts one year after Pakhan's Rose ended. Rosa is now "Angelica" living in Italy and engaged to marry Oliver. Angelica doesn't remember anyone because of the car accident she was in. All she knows is that she doesn't feel like an "Angelica" but there's nothing she can do until her memory comes back. In the year since the accident, Dom has killed all but one person who was involved with what happened to Rosa in book 1. He's set to find and kill the leader of the whole thing when he finds out that Rosa is alive but that she lost her memory with the accident she was involved in and she had been claimed by a family who said she was Angelica. He tracks her down and is determined to get her back. He was still very OTT possessive of her and he didn't care that she was "engaged." Even though she (as Angelica) didn't know him, she was as possessive of him as he was of her when she met him again. He worked it so that he could take her back home with him and it's there that she finally gets her memory back.

The villain reveal wasn't such a big reveal because you sort of figured it out way before that final scene happened.

I did love the Epilogue, it took place 20 years later & we got to see Dom as a daddy to all girls dealing with boys and drama. Poor Dom.

In between Dom and Rosa's story, we got glimpses of future characters and stories and my only regret is that all of them aren't out right now. I would have devoured them all. :)

Great start, excellent plot, but lousy ending. Given the rest of the book, it was a let down. So perfectly wrapped up. The heroine gets in trouble, villain gives a lengthy speech explaining everything and hero saves the day.

WOW!! I can't even put in to words, just WOW! Pakhan's Rose (book one) was gut wrenching. I ugly cried when I read that one. Pakhan's Salvation is the PERFECT title for book 2! Dominic don't play when it comes to revenge & protecting what is his. Soooo many curves in this one. Secrets we weren't even aware of were revealed, families united, lives were lost and love survived. I'll never get enough of these guys. Looking forward to what's to come (hopefully Connor's story?) of this family! Mason, you my love ROCK!!

I really enjoy this authors books however this one did NOT grab me and pull me in as the others did. I couldn't get into the characters story's and I really wanted to like it. I liked that Vivian had a son Jake and that aspect but again the story couldn't keep me interested. But I will continue to read this series because I like it and all the other books I have read were great.

I really enjoyed the possessiveness of the H. He was so obsessed with the h. I liked the story but it became convoluted towards the end. There were at least 3 cases of people who were revealed to be undercover at various points in the story which seemed ridiculous. Nevertheless, I am excited about the next book.

I have been patiently waiting for this book as I needed to know what happened to Rosa and Dominic, and boy was I not disappointed…it was certainly worth the wait.

Obviously this is the second part of Dominic and Rosa’s story, so cannot be read as a standalone. From the start this book had me hooked; there was so much going on I didn’t want to put the book down. I loved the intensity of the story and the way Rosa’s body and subconscious knew Dominic the minute she laid eyes on him again.

There are so many little twists and turns and I was forever trying to piece together who the mastermind behind the whole plan was, eventually I got it, but not until right before they were revelled by the author. This story had me feeling all sorts of emotions, on so many occasions I wondered how life could be so cruel to Rosa, the hell she went through on more than one occasion was heart breaking. But what I loved was that she refused to let it hold her back or break her spirit. The conversations/pep talks Rosa has in her head throughout the book were amusing and on more than one occasion I found myself laughing at her inner ramblings.

My love for Dominic never changed; yes he is a bad guy, I mean he is the Pakhan after all, but his love for Rosa and his determination to protect her made him so swoon worthy. I loved that the epilogue to this story was 20 years in the future, it’s always nice to see what the future holds for our fictional characters, it makes losing them so much easier.

Another fantastic story and I can’t wait for more from this author and some of my favourite fictional characters…Connor needs a story.

About 40% of this book would not be needed if characters were logical and when Rosa "died" Dominic or Don did a DNA test. But characters and plot lines aren't logical, are they?

Rosa just did nothing for me. In every situation she has been in, she is a victim. Again, logically, after the first time she was kidnapped by Erik, I would have expected after that that she would at least get some training in self defense and guns (come to think of it, didn't this happen when she was living with Damian? Or am I confusing that part?) but noooooo, she is Cosa Nostra princess and potential Bratva queen so she'll always have people there to protect her right? Wrong!

Then, in each situation where she has ended up being kidnapped, she has played right into the hands of the person doing the kidnapping. So the situation with the conductor again just made me shout while reading and face palming so hard.

What I will give the story props for is how it is written. The various Rosa situations made me mad but I still wanted to read to find out what was going to happen next. And now I want to know what happens to Vito and his lady, I want to read on for Radmir's story, I want to read for all the other Bratva members stories that have been set up in this book.

I loved the epilogue as well, giving us a peek into the future of the Bratva children.

So, will I continue with the series, definitely, just not right now.

5 Stars!

V.F. Mason took me by storm with her words in the Sociopath Duet... which is so unlike me but I took a chance nonetheless. I tend to go safer in romances... skirting the edges with some authors that I am seasoned with but something about that blurb and those teasers with that series just drew me in. And... I am SO GLAD I did.

Now we have the next duet spin off by this author... Pakhan's Duet and boy oh boy, VF Mason outdid it and gave me the best she has written to date. Full of heat, passion, intensity, suspense, revenge, murder, and mafia mayhem, we are thrust back into their world. Twists and turns... get ready for the explosive conclusion to their story.

These two lit up my kindle and made me sweat... holy smokes the heat between them was smoldering and smothering because it was so much at times (but only in the best of ways). Dominic... swoon alpha overload swoon! I love, love, love him and this book just solidified that for me. When that man is determined, nothing can stop him.

If you like a unique romance with tons of suspense, action, and surprises at every stop of the way... then this book is for you.

I highly recommend this duet.

Let me start out by saying that you MUST MUST MUST read Pakhan's Rose before taking on this one! And just for the record, I needed the answers badly, but now I'm a bit sad that Rosa and Dominic's story is concluded. (What can I say, I live for my happy place in books) With that being said, I'll get on with it. WOW WOW WOW! I knew that this story would be awesome, but V.F. Mason took it to new levels of EXPLOSIVE with this conclusion! Her brilliant writing style shined even brighter if that's possible, and I devoured it within a matter of hours. Diabolical twists and turns were around every corner, and so many of them came out of left field, which made for very loud f-bomb dropping moments, not to mention my heart trying to pound out of my chest. There's so much goodness on every level with this conclusion, that I'm not even attempting to try to describe it, because my best advice to type is, anyone reading this review, RUN, DO NOT WALK, to read this duet, as you will be transported to experience the ride of your life! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Pakhan's Salvation, book 2 of the Bratva & Cosa Nostra series, is freaking AMAZING!!!! This book started where Pakhan's Rose left off (so it is important to read it first before diving in to book 2). Anyway, when Dominic thought that things are over, he's wrong. More intense scenes and events will happen and they will learn some secrets that will make things more interesting. As the story goes, I fell in love with Dominic more and more - well despite the things that he did. What I love about this book is that the author brought the story justice and I can't seem to get enough with the story. I loved it all throughout! Ms. Mason did an amazing job! I will definitely read more of her books in the future.

Lots of twists and turns

There certainly was a lot going on in these books, and the author enjoys suprising the reader. Nothing was too shocking but it was enough to keep attention.

I like instalove stories, this one I struggled with because honestly the H complains about everything the h does. She is an annoying tourist, she wants lame dates, she talks too much, he has to put up with her wanting to go to school...
It seems like he was just obsessed with the idea of her and the look of her but never showed any real interest in her personality.
The constant kidnapping got a little old the third or fourth time.

But this and the last series kept my interest through them, the scenes were hot and overall I enjoyed most of the read.

Powerful, Beautiful, Sexy Dark Mafia Romance

This book concludes Dom & Rosa’s story and it is another wild ride for our two favorite characters. Dom is grieving the loss of Rosa but soon learns there are dangerous games being played and he has to go claim what is rightfully his!!

Rosa wakes in another country with no memory but is being told by everyone how in love she is with her fiancé Oliver yet all she can dream about is a sexy Russian. Watching this cat/mouse game unfold is insightful and quite masterful! The story will keep you guessing till the end and the future jump at the end gives us some insight into the beautiful future that Dominic & Damian have created. Happy Reading!!

O my God! This series about Dominic and Rose are so beautiful ,and of course heartbreaking with all the bad staff that is going on, but in the end the are stronger and thank God finally happy. I was thinking that the story with Damian was my favorite ,but after reading this ,they deifinitely became my favorite couple! And i know this may sounds crazy but i loved how possessive Dominic was,he was worst than Damian( of course i loved that :D ) ! Good job V. F. Mason, i'm looking forward for more books, please hurry ! :)
