" تمر الحياة علينا جميعاً ، تقلبات في هبوط وصعود
رواية خفيفة ولطيفة تصلح كفاصل خفيف .
فيها إطالة شوية في الأحداث والتفاصيل وحسيتها بطيئة بس في المجمل لذيذة .

كانت رواية خفيفة في زحمة الأيام الصعبة 🤍
بعد قراءة هي وهو عجبتني جدا وقلبت الدنيا على امرأة مثلها كنسخة ورقية أو الكتورنية وللأسف فشلت لحد ما نزلت من شهر أخيرا pdf .. وسعيدة جدا أنها مخذلتنيش :")
ما بين مومباي ونيويورك تدور أحداث القصة التى جمعت بين أشخاص يربطهم شيء واحد فقط وهو البحث عن معنى لحياتهم بعدما أجبرتهم الظروف على ترك حياتهم المستقرة وبدء حياة جديدة مليئة بالتحديات ..
احببت القصة والأسلوب والكثير من العبارات كعادة ليفي، هي مش رواية عظيمة بس كفيلة أنها تحطك في مود حلو لبعض الوقت، وهو فيه اجمل من كده؟

صحیح أن مصعدًا عصرياً قد يكون أقل كلفة على سكان المبنى. ولكن هل يمكن حقًا حصر قيمة التحية الصباحية أو الأذن الصاغية بالنقود فقط ؟ وكيف لنا تحديد ثمن الصبر الذي يتمتع به من يسوّي بحكمة وروية الصراعات القائمة بين الجيران؟ وأهمية مَن يُنير صباحاتنا بكلمة لطيفة، ويُعلمنا بأحوال الطقس، ويتمنّى لنا السعادة أيام أعياد میلادنا ويسهر على شققنا متى كنا في سفر، ويُطمئننا بحضوره إن عدنا إلى البيوت ليلًا وحدنا؟ أن تكون مشغل مصعد لهو أكثر من مهنة، إنّه رسالة مقدسة.
لكن أتعرف؟ أظن أنه ما زال هناك عدد لا بأس به من المصاعد الشبيهة بمصعدنا في الهند. إذًا، حين يعود قريبي إلى دياره ويركب أحدها، سيفكّر بي لا محالة، وطالما يفكر سأظل موجودًا. لذا تحديدًا، أقوم بهذا لأكسب بعض الوقت قبل أن أذهب طي النسيان.

Le meilleur Marc Levy ? Absolument pas. Son pire ? Non plus. Mais un livre qui vous fait passer un bon petit moment et vous fait verser une petite larmichette pour les plus sensibles d'entre vous (et moi) ? Définitivement. Bref, sans être mémorable, c'est un petit moment de lecture passé à se détendre et à s'attacher à ces personnages assez charmants et (enfin!) diversifiés.

Tengo que decir que esperaba más y quizás una historia un poco diferente, me ha gustado pero no he visto la comedia romántica en ningún momento. Si la romántica por supuesto, aunque me ha parecido más un libro de superación y que nos enseña a ver más allá. El final me ha gustado y sobretodo Chloé y lo que nos va contando.
Sanji llega a Nueva York con un proyecto en la cabeza y necesita inversores, su única familia en la ciudad son su tía y Deepak un ascensorista que siente devoción por su trabajo, un accidente hará que Sanji deba substituir al ascensorista del turno de noche y nadie sabe quién es, ni siquiera Chloé, que vive en el edificio, y que realmente su ascensorista es dueño de una inmensa fortuna en Bombay.

خفيفة،. دافئة، لذيذة.
امرأة ورجل، تفصل بينهما قارّتان، يشاء القدر جمعهما.
القصة بسيطة، الأسلوب جميل.
عادة لا أستطيع صياغة مراجعات طويلة للروايات الخفيفة مثل هذه الرواية.
أكتفي بالقول أنها تصلح فاصلا خفيفا، تصلح لكسر روتين القراءات الدسمة، يمكنها أن تكون عالما لذيذا يدخله القارئ للمتعة.
لا أنكر أنه قد شابها بعض التمطيط في الأحداث مما أشعرني بالملل لكنها في المجمل لطيفة.

Насправді думала, яку оцінку ставити цій книзі. Тож, 2.5. якщо ви очікуєте тут "почути" старого Леві, то ні🙈 та якось історія не зачепила і особливої глибини я не знайшла. Хіба може я виросла, а не щось з Леві сталося?

لم تعجبني الترجمة .. بشكل عام جيدة، ولكن ما رفع سقف توقعاتي هو اعجابي برواية (هي وهو) وهي أول قراءاتي للكاتب، والتي منها حرصت على اقتناء المزيد من روايات مارك ليفي.

Una historia muy bonita, de esas que te dejan con la sonrisa en los labios, me ha encantado la historia, por supuesto, pero lo mejor está en cada uno de sus personajes, todos ellos, desde los protagonistas hasta los secundarios han resultado entrañables.
Por supuesto tanto el estilo como la prosa de Levy son muy digeribles, ligero y a pesar de ser una historia romántica, tiene su punto de profundidad, curiosamente en esta ocasión no le ha puesto a este libro ningún punto de sutileza paranormal que casi siempre me encuentro en sus libros, simplemente cuenta la historia de personas que a pesar de sus diferencias tiene un punto en común y es la nobleza de corazón.
Levy no defrauda con esta entrega y me ha encantado la diversidad que ha impreso en esta historia, la manera de presentarnos el orgullo de un profesional de su trabajo, por muy humilde que este sea, la humildad de quien tiene el sueño de superación en la vida, el coraje de alguien que desafía su cultura, su familia y a todo el que se le pone delante para demostrarse a si mismo su valía, la grandiosa personalidad de alguien que a pesar de haber vivido y pasado por algo terrible se presenta con buen humor ante el mundo mientras lucha en su interior para encontrar su resilencia y su amor propio, sin dejar nunca por ello de su orgullo.

Welcome to Fifth Avenue number 12, where one of the oldest elevators exist. The book follows the people who lives in the apartment complex but mainly focuses on Sanjit, a business man from Bombay, and Chloe, a young actress with an unknown past. When will happen when these two people meet?
So unfortunately I really disliked this book. All the characters were unlikable, especially Lali and Deepak. Oh boy Lali drove me through the roof with her condescending and mean demeanor. And Deepak had no respect for Sanji, who I also didn’t like. Chloe and Sanjit dialoged was so cringe worthy, and yeah maybe if you like these kind of books you will like this one too. But definitely not for me. And then the bok turned into a mystery in the end, like huh?!
And btw this whole freaking book is just dialogue!! Omg!

Tout le monde semble avoir un avis sur les romans de Marc Levy , surtout ceux qui n’ont jamais lu ses livres. Je me souviens encore avoir découvert son premier roman, grâce à un article dans ELLE, au moment de sa parution. Sans préjugé, j’ai plongé avec bonheur dans Et si c’était vrai grâce à cette écriture cinématographique qui plante si bien le décor ... Une fille comme elle est une charmante comédie new-yorkaise. Les personnages sont pétillants et même si on ne doute pas sur l’issue heureuse de certaines intrigues, je n’ai pas vu le temps passer. Encore un petit bonheur d’été dont on aurait tort de se priver, merci Mr Lévy !

Một câu chuyện dễ thương đến từ bậc thầy truyện tình Marc Levy :D Câu chuyện lần này không còn xen lẫn những cuộc rượt đuổi, những màn khám phá bí mật gay cấn nữa, nhưng vẫn vô cùng cuốn hút. Mình khá thích câu chuyện tình yêu của Lali và Deepak, vượt qua mọi rào cản địa vị, gia cảnh,... để bên nhau hạnh phúc. Nối tiếp "truyền thống" đó, cháu trai của Lali - Sanji - cũng có một cuộc tình thật đẹp với cô gái kiên cường Chlóe, và họ cũng hạnh phúc bên nhau giống như người cô người chú của mình vậy.
"Người ta có thể viện đủ mọi lý do trên đời này, nhất là những lý do tồi tệ, tự bịt mắt mình lại để khỏi nhìn thấy lẽ hiển nhiên, nhưng tình thực, lựa chọn duy nhất mà chúng ta có là nắm bắt cơ hội của chính mình hoặc để mặc nó trôi qua."
Vẫn là bác Marc Levy với những dòng văn miêu tả đậm chất thơ, đã vẽ nên bức tranh New York sôi động, ồn ào nhưng cũng không kém phần an tĩnh, lãng mạn. Một câu chuyện thật nhẹ nhàng, cực kì hợp với những ngày mùa đông khi mà chúng ta cần gì đó ấm áp :3

فأربعون سنتيمترا لا تشكل سوى 25 في المئة من طول قامتي. أعرف أشخاصا فقدوا من شعورهم أكثر من ذلك، ولم يتأثر أحد بذلك ، صدقا ماذا يوازي ربع امرئ؟

تربطها علاقة قوية بمشغل المصعد الهندي ديباك ليصبح صديق ووالد لها على مر السنوات
تقود الظروف سانجي ليتواجد في نيويورك في محاولة لنشر مشروعة الجديد خارج حدود الهند ليقيم عنده لالي عمته وزوجة ديباك والصدف تجمعه مع كلويه لتتحول الي قصة حب خفيفة لطيفة مليئة بالتفاهم وسوء التفاهم ايضا
في رأيي، يجب أن يكون المرء مجنونا بعض الشئ لئلا يقفد صوابه بالكامل
تتطور الأحداث كثيرا لتصل الي تحديث المصعد الأثري وخاصة بعد حادثة ريفييرا صديق ديباك وعامل المصعد الليلي
وتظهر حقيقة سكان المبنى رقم 12 ونعرف من يقف مع ديباك حقا ومن ينتهز الفرصة للتخلص منه وتوفير اموال كثيرة
أعجبتني القصة بالطبع والترجمة كانت جيدة ايضا الي حد كبير
ننتقل بين معرفة حادثة كلويه وبين الأحداث الحالية
حب عبر القارات ومآسي يمر بها الكثيرون ولكن يظل الحب هو السند الأكبر في وجه تلك المشاكل .. شرط ان يكون حقيقيا يتغاضى عن كل انواع النقص

No fue muy complicado de leer,pero tampoco muy remarcable,han pasado varios días y solo recuerdo con detalles la historia de la protagonista y al ascensor. Lo demás un ir y venir.

A comedy of errors and not in a good way
In judging a book, I have to remind myself of the parameters of that particular genre--how well did it accomplish what it set out to do? Obviously, this isn’t intended to be serious literature. It’s a bit of fluff, romantic chick lit, and that’s not always bad. The Rosie Project and any of the Sophie Kinsella books come to mind. But this one didn’t work for me, and it’s hard to say why. Maybe it was trying too hard, being self-consciously cute? I could almost hear the author thinking, What madcap situation can I put the characters in next? And Catherine. He should have named her St. Catherine. All the other characters are agog with her, and the author constantly reminds us of how wonderful she is, yet I could never see what makes her so special. Maybe the old dictum, “show, don’t tell” would apply here? And why didn’t she want to reveal how she had lost her legs? Even at the end where she finally reveals what happened, I still didn’t understand her big secrecy about it. Basically, I just couldn’t get into it. I didn’t care that much about the characters, and the plot just seemed...well, stupid. I had to force myself to finish. I read that Marc Levy is The best-selling French author. And you may like it. Maybe his other books are better, but I don’t intend to waste any more of my time reading him to find out.

وتأكدت لدى قناعة أنه صاحب روايات خفيفة تُقرأ في أوقات الفتور والإنشغال للمساعدة على تمضية الوقت وقضاء وقت لطيف بصحبة الكتب.
بالنسبة لي، كان العنوان خداع لحدٍ كبير!
لا أعلم ماذا كنت أنتظر، لكني كنت أنتظر شيئاً مختلفاً.
تدور أحداث الرواية في بناء عتيق، بمصعد يدوي يعمل عليه رجلين بالتناوب، وفتاة يعيش في الطابق الثامن تلتقي مصادفة بشاب وتتفاجأ بأنه أصبح يعمل في مصعد بنايتهم!
رواية اجتماعية رومانسية خفيفة.
تجمع بين بلدان وثقافات وشخصيات مختلفة، وتوضح أن الحب لا يقف أمامه عائق، لا جنس ولا بلد ولا لون.

We all hear about bombings happening all over the world. We watch it on the news, or read about it in the paper. Our hearts break thinking of all the victims. We pray for their loved ones and families. And move on. Hardly anyone imagines what life looks like for those who survive. At least I don’t. Until this book happened. Levy’s latest story is exactly about that. Smart, funny, endearing and will definitely have you believe in magic and in hope, if you don’t already. Highly recommended.

No había leído nunca un libro de Marc Levy, sobre todo porque hace tiempo que no me llama la romántica por lo que sólo leo este tipo de libros para cumplir con algún reto de lectura. En este caso en el club de lectura de La Cafetería de Audrey en Goodreads nos tocó leer este libro.
Cuando empecé su lectura me temía la típica historia melosa, acaramelada, de a chico le gusta chica y que si te quiero, si no te quiero, que.... Pero no ha sido así. La parte romántica es muy light, pasa casi por encima en el tema ñoño, y se queda con la historia que en principio parecía secundaria.
El libro alterna dos escenarios muy distintos, lo que le da frescura al libro.
Un primer escenario, es la historia secundaria que toma protagonismo en la trama. Deepak es un viejo ascensorista/portero del turno de día atendiendo el antiguo ascensor de un vetusto bloque de edificios habitado por un cúmulo de personajes de clase media a cada cual más pintoresco. Cuando el ascensorista del turno de noche sufre un accidente, Deepak ve como peligra su modo de vida si no consigue un sustituto a tiempo. Y ahí aparece su sobrino, Sanji, que sin saber siquiera cómo, se encuentra atrapado en una situación surrealista de la que no quiere salir por conocer a una de las vecinas, Chloe.
El segundo escenario es cómo Chloe acepta y hace frente a las consecuencias terribles de un horrible suceso que la ha marcado para el resto de su vida. Y no digo más para que vayáis descubriéndolo vosotros mismos.
Según iba leyendo más me iba gustando el personaje de Chloe, su historia, su fortaleza, su espíritu. Y es lo que para mí ha salvado el libro. La historia del primer escenario aunque entretenida no da para mucho, resulta incluso algo cansino la obsesión con ese ascensor, pero me encanta como el autor ha dibujado el personaje de Chloe.

"Deberías saber que hay silencios más elocuentes que las vanas palabras"
"Una chica como ella" es un libro peculiar. Me lo he leído en apenas un día pero, a pesar de ello, ha habido momentos en los que sentía que no sabía lo que estaba leyendo y estaba perdida. A pesar de que me ha gustado, tengo la sensación de que no sé qué pasó al final porque se mezclan muchos sucesos y lo resuelven demasiado rápido, para mi gusto al menos.
En definitiva, "Una chica como ella" es un libro sencillo de leer y bonito pero qué, en mi caso, no me ha llegado como me habría gustado.

Fue una historia bonita, me ha gustado :) algo ligero en donde los personajes principales y secundarios son cordiales y afectuosos. El estilo y la escritura del autor es sencilla, práctica y ligera... siendo una novela de romance siento que aun así tiene alguno que otro punto donde profundiza en las emociones y el mensaje que nos da el autor.
Lo he disfrutado bastante y se me fue como agua por lo fresca que es, tiene momentos "chuscos" que me hicieron sonreir y otros en los que me hicieron pensar.

Marc Levy are un suflet franțuzesc și o înclinație spre finaluri fericite exasperant. Tragedia atentatului din timpul maratonuli de la Boston este inimaginabilă și să ai puterea să treci peste o asemenea lovitură cere un mare curaj.
