A case of too much telling zero showing
The h was right when she said it has been THREE years, he said nothing and the moment she wants a divorce he magically loves her? Honey trust in the logic, and not the illogical “showing of love” when they’re forced to. Also there was ZERO showing of love, and unnecessary OM/OW drama.
Also WTF is it with the cover?????? Who here gets excited by hard male n*****s???

Fast quick super quick read.
Jennifer and Lincoln have a one night together that has Jen knocked up, she tells him just so he knows and he can be co-parents. But Lincoln wants to do the right thing and marry her, he knows how rough it is to be a single parent from his mom. Fast forward 3 years later they are still married but he doesn't have a relationship really with Jen only his son.. its mostly marraige on paper.. and him taking care of her and his son. Jen has fallen for her husband but she has to step up and she asks him for a divorce granting him what he wanted all these years freedom. But now he wants what he's been missing out on... his wife his whole family life together..
I was meh.. at this guy it took him years to finally see what was in front of him.. if she didn't ask for a divorce would he man up? Also i wish he groveld more.. 2 weeks and she gives in.. nope i would make him work monthsss before i say back those 3 words.
No om drama tiny ow drama (his assistant flirts with him but he always ignores her, no cheating, secondary chara, sexy time (1 time) no virgins

Lincoln and Jenn have a one night stand . She ends up pregnant and he marries her out of a sense of duty. 3 years later Jenn knows he isn't in love with her so she asks him for a divorce. She thinks her love is unrequited. Hero realizes he is in love with Jenn but is it too late?
Love married couples! Heartwarming story that made me cry! I was so sad about Lincoln. He almost lost his perfect wife and son because of his stupidity. So glad he fought for his family!
I wish there was an epilogue with a sister or brother for their little boy. I would have given it 5 stars if there was another epilogue further into the future.

This is the second book in this series and although I enjoyed it, it also made me a little sad. It’s an easy read and short.
Jennifer has spent the past three years married to a man she fell in love with believing that he would never love her back, after a special night that she spent with Lincoln she ended up with a husband and a baby, but deciding that she can no longer hold Lincoln back from his freedom and to have the lives that they both deserve she offers him a divorce. Is it the time for them to move on together or apart?
Lincoln had never planned on having his own family, after losing his father and having to help his mother raise his brother and sister he wanted freedom but one night changed that for him and now its three years later and his wife is offering him the freedom he always thought that he wanted. Can Lincoln prove to Jennifer that all he wants is her and during the time they have spent together has been with love or has he lost the thing he thought he never wanted?
This was a really well written story and if this author carries on writing stories like this I can guarantee I will be reading more from her.

I wanted to shake the hero so bad for letting his indifference go on for 3 years! I would have been upset too if I was her.
-no cheating
-om drama - a guy tries to talk to her but she ignores him, oblivious that he is interested
-ow drama - his assistant makes the moves on him. Putting her hands on him and flirting
-no violence
-epilogue was bot very far out

Short short story
I really would have liked a longer book. This was so short but I still loved the hero Lincoln. He was awesome. The heroine was great too.I would have loved more of a story because it was so good.wish it would have got more into the years between meeting and now. He wanted to be free and she got pregnant so he married her. Three years later she wants to set him free so he can be happy. But he was happy wasn't he? It's good to see a man right for his marriage. He was a good husband though always. And when Lincoln stepped up, he stepped up. I loved when he introduced himself to the guy at the pool. That was funny. Just a nice story. There was an explicit bedroom scene at the end but I skimmed it. Safe and free in KU

Awww - a sweet and racy romance - when LAST did I read one of these?! Short and spicy and so very real-life-ish. The author manages to pack a lot into a few pages without short-changing the reader. A satisfying read for me, despite some editing issues.

I greatly enjoyed this one and I really wish this one had been longer. I love the concept of why they got married and why she asked for a divorce. And that he loved her enough to try to win her over!

A good marriage in peril story.
This is the second time I’ve read this but didn’t review it the first time. Marriage in peril isn’t usually my trope of choice but I enjoyed this for the most part. I like my men head over heels obsessed and since Lincoln wasn’t like that right away… or even three years in it was just never going to be my favorite. I did like that he really had to work to show he loved her and Jenn didn’t give in right away. All in all a good read.

This was a very quick "second chance" romance. Jenn and Lincoln are married bit ahe feels that he only married her out of obligation. She decides to ser him free and he realizes that he took her for granted. He asks her to give him a chance and he shows her that he does actually love her too.

The Captain KPF #2
The Captain is book two in the Knox Police Force series. I was excited to read Linc and Jennifer's story, and not only because she has my name. I have been wondering what was going on with them since the first book. I can't wait for the rest of the families stories.
The book itself is really good. It's very well written and easy to read. As always from Hope Ford this is a short story and will take about 30 minutes to finish it. It is a stand alone but I recommend starting with The recruit. You won't be disappointed

Omg fell in love with this
Wow loved this. Jenny after three years with Lincoln she decides to give him his freedom back as she feels she took it from him when she told him she was pregnant. Lincoln was brought up doing the right thing so he married Jenny after she told him she was pregnant at first he resented having his freedom took but now he wouldn’t change it for anything. When he was younger his dad died his brother was only 14 and he had a young sister too so he moved back home with his mum and worked so they didn’t need anything but swore he didn’t want to get married or have kids. Lincoln is shocked Jenny has asked for a divorce after talking with his sister he has seen how he has taken advantage of Jenny and has never told her he loves her now he needs to show her how much he loves her as he will fight for her and their marriage

I really enjoyed reading this story. So many heart strings pulling, happy, sad, frustrated, and lonely. But, what an eye opener, and a bit harsh too, but it was very much needed. I enjoyed it when he proved it, not just by words, but followed up on them. I enjoyed the ending, but, I want to know if there’s a junior in the works.

This was so awesome. Men can be a bit thick lol. Lincoln loves his wife Jennifer but has never told her in the past 3 years of their marriage. Jennifer wants to set him free and this cause Lincoln to make changes for the better of their marriage. In the end it all works out.

Short romance book
I wish there was a little bit of action in this book it was a nice short live story. The male lead needed to get his head out of his butt, and he did after his sister pointed out he was acting like a ass. They got there happy ending and she got the husband that she deserves.

Fantastic Short
Jennifer and Lincoln start with a lustful beginning that turns to love. They almost loose each other but Lincoln comes to his senses and proved to Jennifer he loves her. There are more details to this short but you must read this book for them. Enjoy!!👍

This was good. It was soul searching. Lincoln thought that a wife and child would be another burden like it was when he helped raised his siblings only to find out in the end what a blessing his wife and his son really are.
